Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and the fact there is a pool will go over well with kids.

There is no buffet breakfast as advertised, only 5 items to choose from. The only "free" continental breakfast offered is with an extra $40 added onto a room with a king size bed. Mattress was ungodly hard and uncomfortable. Paid extra for a room with a view of the river, instead got a room with literally half a window, not kidding, with no view. No pamphlet in room regarding general hotel information, no pen, no channel guide. All due to pandemic which makes sense. Yet still a bible in every room and I'm pretty sure some people still touch those as well. Other negatives also but only so many hours in one day. Needless to say, my next trip to wichita will not involve staying at this overpriced filing cabinet they laughably call a hotel. Save your $$$!

I attended a quilting retreat at the hotel this past weekend. I was thoroughly impressed by the staff, accommodations, and the location. We enjoyed our set-up in the Riverview Ballroom watching the ducks diving on the river and the ice floating downstream. The staff I interacted with were gracious and very helpful. Overall a great experience.

Temperature does not work in rooms. No night manager or supervisor which cares about customer service. Cannot get a hold of an owner or responsible for the hotel. If you like sleeping in 80° rooms. It’s up to you. Do not lie to people it’s been broke for two days. I’ll talk to the people for the floor below. Same story.

Pool area with 2 hot tubs & nice employees but, very expensive drinks lol.

Great location, being on the river walk of the Arkansas River. Amazing sunsets, beautiful architecture around the lake, peaceful and relaxing. Room service, coffee shop and restaurant/bar amenities.

I've been staying at Hyatt for a funeral in Arkansas City, I love it so much, I drive an extra two hours to get back and forth from the family activities. Just so I can relax in the spacious rooms and AWESOME pillows. Ted ladies at the front desk are always so accommodating to our needs!

Bar drinks tasted watered down and the bartender refused to accommodate us when we expressed our dissatisfaction. We were told we’d just have to order a double. At prices they charge, very disappointing.

Catering prices are ridiculously high for food. You pay $3.25 per item. That’s for one meatball. Then there is all these service charges. Don’t hold a reception here unless you want to spend about $2000. I could of got better meatballs at IKEA.

Great hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Please have your Cooks learn about Meatless Options with Flavor! Maybe Falafel with Hummus, Veggie Lasagna, or Curry Noodles with Veggies. Something!

I went to attend a gathering, the African Summit. The valet was very nice, cost was $10. The inside was very clean, and all of the employees were friendly. The room was large, with a nice simple style. I'd recommend holding or attending an event here.

Beautiful hotel. Nicely appointed. We had a perfect room — corner king overlooking the river and ballpark with a bonus fireworks show! But the best kept secret here is the Harvest restaurant. The food was outstanding! Fresh, imaginative, delicious!

I was there for a conference so our parking was paid… but normal guest have to pay for it in the garage! So that stinks! Also the restaurant in the lobby is great, they serve local, fresh dishes! Some of it is $$$ but mostly affordable! Would go back!

The place was kind of crazy with kids, as there was a young woman's beauty pageant going on. However, the staff handled everything with skill and courtesy. Dinner in the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet, the following morning, were both quite nice. The room itself, was great. I can't say a lot about it, other than it was clean, and the bed was amazing! We had a very long day, and were dealing with having had almost no sleep, so we kind of passed out, shortly after walking into the room. Slept great! Yeah, we will be back…

I stayed at the Hyatt Wichita for NAM. There was a continual line of people waiting in the lobby to use what is clearly too few elevators for the number of rooms in this hotel. It was the talk around the hotel at every event. You had to plan in an extra twenty minutes before each event to accommodate "elevator time". What a nightmare. In addition, the pool was atrocious… the chlorine burned your eyes and nasal passages as soon as you stepped into the pool room. Some unaccompanied kids who had the outside emergency fire doors propped open with a chair were loudly and dangerously dominating the pool. It was unclear whether these wete even hotel guests. Security came to close the fire doors, (probably because they were alarming somewhere). But though it was obvious who had lodged the fire door open, they did not ask these unruly kids to leave the pool area. All-in-all, an over-priced, miserable weekend at a hotel that is dirty, tired and has seen better days.

This hotel has so much potential, with a beautiful location on the Arkansas river and great views from the rooms. The fitness center is really nice, but the pool was crowded and needed maintenance. The food at the restaurant was overpriced. We only ordered veggies and dip and it took forever to be served to our table. Drinks were good but high priced. The room needed a lot of maintenance as the carpet was threadbare and there was mildew in the shower. It was pretty clean though and we had nice toiletries, pillows, and towels. All of the staff from housekeeping, to the front desk, to the bar, to the coffee shop were friendly and helpful. They could invest a little into the rooms and I would give this 5 stars.

Downtown location is at best. Staff here have been consistently upbeat, friendly and promptly welcoming guests from moment you arrive. Nicely decorated clean rooms and "convenient item" requests are available. Just well rounded staff and hotel.

This was a very nice hotel. The beds were comfortable. We had two adjoining rooms. The sink faucet in one of the bathrooms leaked water underneath, leaving a big puddle on the floor when we turned it on. It was late when we arrived, so we decided not to call for maintenance and just used the sink in the other bathroom. The interior side of the shower curtain in that room had boogers smeared on it from the last guests. It was something that couldn't be seen until you were in the shower with the curtain closed. The girls at the front desk were very apologetic and helpful when I mentioned these things during checkout. Despite those couple of problems, we thought our rooms were otherwise clean and comfortable and would stay here again.

The rooms and hotel were very nice… however, unless you don’t have any taste buds at all, I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast. I’ve never in my life been so disappointed by a lack of flavor and taste in my food. If it were offered to me at no charge next time I’m here, it would still be way too expensive. Most Hyatt Regency’s have impeccable dining, but Wichita definitely needs to step up their game and find some chefs that actually know what they’re doing. Awesome rooms, horrible food.

My family and I tried to eat dinner in the restaurant. We got there late, and it was busy, so expected a wait. After not getting food for well over an hour, we decided to cancel our order, and go to our room, at which point we were told the food would be comped, and boxed up to go. I was under the impression it would be brought to our room. At 11pm I received a call saying it was being boxed up, but one entree was unavailable, would we like something else. This was an hour and a half after ordering. Then, after waiting for 30 minutes, I went to get the food that I thought was being brought up, and they said they couldn’t bring it up, without charging for room service. The food still was not ready. Two hours for a salad, and cup of soup. My kids and wife went to bed with no food for dinner. They only offered comped food for that night, which we had nowhere to keep, and no one awake to eat it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be ordered by filling out a form and planning on your door to be delivered in the morning! TV channel selection could have been better without having to pay extra. TV was bigger than stated, but I'd trade it for a more comfy mattress! Shuttle downtown for event was awesome, but why end the shuttle at 10:30 on a weekend? Overall, I'd stay again!

This large hotel is a good part of the overall chain. The lobby is large and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and well maintained. There is a bit of wear, but nothing out of the norm or which would take away from the overall positive experience. Standard rooms have two bottles of water (free for members). There is a restaurant and bar downstairs, both quite nice, as well as a coffee/pastry location that serves Starbucks. A great place to stay if you're visiting Wichita. Pro tip — it's about a 20 minute drive to the airport.

We had a great time. The rooms are very comfortable and it's has easy access to all this downtown. The staff was very accommodating as well. I misplaced a bag and the whole staff quickly coordinated together and security found it. Highly recommended.

This was a very nice hotel, I'm assuming one of the nicest in Wichita. The service was great and the staff were very welcoming. My room had a nice view of the water and although it was cold, I was able to see the ducks and geese. I went to the breakfast buffet and considering that it is mass produced, I was satisfied. I loved how the serbs and jams came in small containers! I thought they were so cute! My husband was a big fan of the pancakes which were made to order. I'd defiantly stay again.

Great facilities and friendly staff! Attended a catered meal where they went out of their way delight my 2 young kids. What could have been a screaming meal instead was a fun time my young kids really enjoyed.

It's a really nice place to stay. The bed is comfy and they give you 4 feather down pillows. This is so relaxing even though it's a business trip. I feel like I am on vacation ł. You have to put a cc on file for incidentals just Don't drink the bottle water left in the room. They will charge you for it $6

Great hotel. Very nice and comfortable room. Very good food in the barn and restaurant. Coffee bar is good too. Fast van service as well. I've stayed here many times and it is always a good stay.

Had a great stay here. Good was awesome. Sheets were pretty lame though. Loosened up at night and we're all baggy. First world problems at their finest.

Wonderful Hospitality from the Lobby Staff and the Hotel was sold out and crazy busy! Made to Order Omelette with the Breakfast Buffet was fantastic, too. Wonderful start to the day. Overall, it was a GREAT stay!

I wanted to let you know about one of your employees that really went above and beyond the call of duty in hopes that she gets some special recognition; she earned it! Last week, I was part of the music teacher’s convention and, to put it mildly, I was kind of a pain in the neck. First, my reservation was mixed up… no fault of your hotel. I dealt with a very calm and patient young lady at the front desk named Taylor. She was able to get to the bottom of the situation and accommodated me with no problem whatsoever. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the level of individual care amidst all of the chaos that was going on during convention weekend! Wow! Also, I was in charge of a guest artist that was rather fussy and unorganized. He was supposed to have brought some handouts for a session he was going to do in one hour but forgot, leaving the stress to me… 30 10-page handouts copied front & back; stapled! Desperate, I ran to the front desk and there was Taylor again. I told her my problem and she said, “no worries”; she would take care of it. She took the handout to a copy machine there at the hotel, made my copies and even helped me staple them! I kept thanking her profusely and she insisted to deflect my praise. She really saved the day for me and I will NOT let her deflect my gratitude any longer. If Taylor represents the work-ethic, customer service and attention to detail that your business requires, you are in great shape!

This was the second time I've been here for a Company Meeting/Event. Both times I have been amazed by how efficient and genuinely KIND the staff treat their guests. Last weekend's stay was nothing short of memorable and I was only there for one night! I was greeted like an old time friend the moment I entered the building. The Valet staff greeted me and waited at the front until I checked-in in order to valet my vehicle. My room was spotless and I was even greeted by House Keeping staff. For dinner, we had a pre-selected meal which included Steak. As a vegetarian, I simply asked to skip on the steak and just have the veggies offered. Oh but the Chef and wait staff went above and beyond! A few moments later, our server Nap, brought out a plate covered in veggies. The Chef had created an entree for me which included a Zucchini boat filled with sauteed veggies and topped with a red sauce and included roasted potatoes and other steamed veggies. This was by far the kindest gesture I have received while staying at a hotel and I was so grateful for this act. ALL staff should be recognized for their service during my stay and I can't express enough how much this small act meant to me! I was simply an attendant at this meeting and for them to show me this kindness will definitely have me back again! I hope this message gets passed on to the Chef and to our amazing server Nap! Exceeding expectations should never go unrecognized! THANK YOU!

Just had dinner and drinks, but the food was very good. The service was excellent, and our plates were brought quickly and with zero errors. Had a wonderful experience, will definitely return.

All the staff was very polite and nice. The meals were delicious and very eloquent. A little pricy, but overall a great place.

I have attended events here in the past, and the staff was always polite, helpful, and very friendly. I had the opportunity to visit a friend in their room recently, and the view over the river was astounding. The bed was very comfortable to sit on.

I attended the Red Cross Heros breakfast @ the Hyatt this morning. Great turnout. The buffet was very nice & serving staff was excellent. Well planned program, Kudos to Red Cross staff who organized it.

Everything was great. Service was fantastic. Meeting rooms were well furnished and staff was friendly. The bedrooms were very nice but beds and pillows were a little hard. I'd come back any time.

A fantastic experience and an awesome hotel. One of the best in Wichita. Their restaurant has a great selection of food that is prepared from local produce. The indoor pool is great and we will come back to stay here again. Since my wife and I celebrated our anniversary here, they did surprise us with some sweet treats that were delivered straight to our room as a complimentary.

Like the Entrance to hotel and the staff where friendly and helpful. I love the water wall and the river sidewalk, very romantic in the evening with the lights. Can take some nice photos.

My family and I stay here every June for my company summit. Staff is always super friendly. Security team is amazing! The indoor salt water pool is usually where I live between company obligations. The pizza from their kitchen is delicious, I highly recommend trying it out, totally worth every penny. Drinks are strong, the patio has a beautiful view of the river. One of my favorite places to stay and I look forward to it every year! :)

Beautiful hotel, view of the river. We spent most of our time at the hotel at the pool which was nice and family-friendly. We also enjoyed the hot tubs. There was a food truck rally just across the street from the hotel that Sunday — a fun surprise!

Loved my stay here! It's a beautiful hotel. A great bar downstairs that is open late. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and offers a great breakfast menu or breakfast buffet (open for all meals too). The rooms are clean and spacious with extremely comfortable beds. I forgot some toiletries and the front desk sent up complimentary replacements to my room. Wonderful room service as well. Even spent a day ordering a meal and a bottle of wine from room service and it was easily one of the best experiences I had here. Would I stay here again? Absolutely and I plan to.

We stayed 3 nights for a conference. Everyone on staff went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. They were helpful when I needed a couple of items printed. We were even surprised with a beautiful fruit and chocolate plate on our first night. Thanks for the exceptional service.

Rooms are nice and clean. Valet staff are polite yet often unavailable when you need them. The front desk employees are where the service here needs serious help. The initial employee I worked with was polite and I checked in from my hotels. Com reservation fairly easily. I had a two day reservation, and on the second day I requested from a different front desk staffer to stay an extra night. They said they couldn't honor the hotels. Com rate and would have to book me at stock rate with was $139 instead of $129 I paid. I agreed to this and went on with my evening. I then get an unpleasant phone call that the room I was in was going to be $30 more than they quoted me because it had a river corner view. I said, no thanks just move me to a standard room for the 3rd day. They said they couldn't because I was already in the room 2 days so they can't do a downgrade… Now, we all know I could have gone back on hotels. Com and gotten the lower rate with a new reservation no problem. Instead, the unhelpful and "its policy" front desk employee irked me enough to say heck with the 3rd night here. I'll find another hotel that won't try to shake me down. Sadly, we all know the hotel is mostly empty on Sunday night so this was all around an unintelligent maneuver on Hyatts part. It is unprofessional to quote an already elevated price and then call my room in the late evening to tell me they can't even honor that price.

Hyatt is a well appointed hotel with an amazing list of amenities. Great service and hospitality all around. I ordered in room breakfast and they paid close attention to details. Very pleased and will be back again!

All the staff I have interacted with have been very polite and extremely helpful. They are courteous to everyone I saw then interact with and the rooms are quite nice. I am usually here 1-2 times a year for events and the last several summers there have been free events, such as fireworks or live bands, when I have been here. The river walk is also really nice AND there are a lot of great things to do in walking distance.

As diamond members, we rented three rooms to celebrate my sister's graduation and recent wedding. When asking if my sister at least could get a complimentary upgrade, we were denied. When asking if we, as diamond members, could receive complimentary covered parking, we were denied. When asking if we, as diamond member, could have a different room because the room they placed us in was adjacent to a room with very loud children, we were offered a room on a significantly lower floor as the only option. We will absolutely be canceling our membership with the Hyatt group. There simply is no point staying with them or showing them any loyalty as they simply offer little to no incentive to do so.

The location was extremely convenient. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean. A mini oasis in the middle of Wichita!

Stayed the night for my granddaughters birthday and room was nice, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and had a blast The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Would stay again for sure.

Location was nice in appearance, but due to electrical issues the DJ's equipment at the wedding reception was kicked off the breaker. He had a modest setup, the Hyatt needs to have their wiring inspected.

My boss was staying at the hotel for work. He suggested have lunch. I had the chicken sandwich with cucumber salad and fries. The whole meal was very good. The bartender was extremely friendly and courteous. Would definitely do lunch there again.

The conference was executed flawlessly, the audio/visual was great, and the Perks coffee shop is great! Try a Great Harvest "Power Bar" for an awesome, delicious power snack!

The Hyatt Regency in Wichita is a beautiful hotel. I visited for a trade show and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was helpful and the place was clean and inviting.

Definitely a business hotel. Indoor pool and 2 indoor hot tubs. Right along the river that has a nice walking path. I'm pretty sure I had mild food poisoning from the nachos but I'll never know. The coffee shop has weird hours, but overall a decent hotel.

Very nice and clean the breakfast wasn't top notch but I've never been to a hotel that had better! Lol overall they had great customer service and location was right down the street from just about everything I loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

I have been attending seminars here annually for the last 18 years. Generally a really nice place. My most recent visit was not so nice. I had to move to another room two times before I could find one free of cigarette odor. The meeting room on the 18th floor wreaked of cigar smoke, very annoying for a non-smoker. Once I got to my third room and opened the refrigerator to store my water there was leftover food from the previous occupant. Very disappointing level of accommodations for the Hyatt. Other than that the staff was most accommodating.

The most accommodating and friendly hotel we've stayed to date. We arrived late at night and check in was a breeze. The young lady's at the bar helped get us something cold to drink in the most friendly way, including getting 2 cold bottles of water (no charge) for our daughter. Breakfast was fantastic. I strongly recommend this hotel based of off pure genuine hospitality and friendliness. The Hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are clean, spacious and amazing. The staff is very thankful for your business and we really appreciated that. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel right next to the river. We enjoyed the spacious lobby area and spectacular city view. We paid a few extra dollars to upgrade to a top-level floor and it was worth it! We appreciated the many choices for breakfast in the morning as we do not eat grains or processed foods. Great proximity to the many restaurants and bars of Old Town.

I attended a 3 day retreat at the Hyatt and was pretty happy overall with the experience. The sleeping room was clean and well-appointed and the Riverview conference room was very well-suited to our needs, although the temperature control left something to be desired. The catering staff took good care of us but the food was only a little better than OK. The food in the restaurant was also just good, not excellent, and typically overpriced for a hotel restaurant. The staff was courteous, though I think they could do a better job of letting people know how to use the key card for the elevator and parking garage.

We stayed here twice in a month due to an awesome deal online. Rooms were awesome, clean and great views. Coffee shop was a nice substitute for coffee and breakfast though it would have been nice if the internet had been included. Parking garage is a distance and the chariots are hidden so that valet can help with luggage. It felt like with parking, internet, valet luggage and no breakfast. It could add up quick. But we got a GREAT deal on the room and we enjoyed their hot tubs and pool. Definitely on our favorites list for future. Staff was professional and great. They remembered our family even though it had been three weeks in between visits. Definitely a bonus.

I traveled to Wichita on business this week. They staff I dealt with was most excellent. Nick, Natalie and Brett took great care of me during my stay. The room and the service far exceeded my expectations and what I've been accustomed to. I will recommend the Wichita KS Hyatt to my associates for a great stay. Thanks guys.

This was by far the best customer service I have experienced at a hotel in 20 years. I we host a biannual conference for a large group and have experienced many hotel in a variety of cities and states. The staff at the Hyatt exceeded my expectations. Job well done.

The Hyatt Regency was a fantastic venue to work with. Our company was contracted with a wedding at this particular location and the staff was impeccable. The service was fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel pricing was great for wedding packages and guest room rates. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wedding venue or just for a weekend stay. I had a great experience with the Hyatt.
