Jacqueline is an awesome manager! She takes care of all of our needs and treats my family like her own! The hotel is kept clean and there is always refreshments available in the lobby! Whenever I'm in Jax I stay here for good value and quality living.

I've been here for now almost three weeks and everyone here is the best except for the one that really matters which is the manager of the property. She is a snobby and very in professional. I told her that I have fleas in my room and that I would like to be moved to another room or either get new covers and Comforters for me and my family and still nothing. I really feel like they need to replace her with someone who is willing to do the job right rather you're black or white. No matter what color you are as long as you pay for where you stay you should always be treated with the respect that you show everyone else period.

This place is absolutely terrible. The staff will lie to you, they are not customer friendly and they are extremely rude. The manager is also a terrible employee who does not help and will blaim her guest for rhe issues she is facing in her hotel. The rooms were FILTHY. They smell like they have not actually been cleaned in weeks. We found trash in our drawers, under the bed and in the bathroom. We also found dirty socks and other laundry left under our bed. The stove and oven was filthy. Bathroom even worse. I highly recommend going somewhere else. I will never return to this location.

Everyone here is great. Huge room for a great price. Staff are all amazing, they accommodated us at every turn. Cannot ask for more. This place is the next best thing to home.

With that out of the way, the only reason I'm rating this two stars is due to the terrific front desk staff. They were always friendly, helpful and charming.

Came here after first checking into a sad, pitiful, dirty excuse for a long-term type hotel around the corner. The Extended Stay Baymeadows was second cheapest in the area only to the aforementioned hole. And for the slight price difference, I have to say it was WELL worth it. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. If you need anything, just ask. Building is interior access, which adds to the feeling of safety and security. You couldn't ask for easier access to I-95. Rooms are comfortable and accommodating — I have everything I need for an "extended stay". All of my appliances & equipment work. Is it a 5-star resort? No. But they're also not trying to be. It's a great deal for your money, especially if you have to stay in the area more than a few nights. They even have a grab and go breakfast every morning until 9:30! Overall I have been very happy with my stay here, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking in this area.

Hotel staff was kind and helpful. The hotel was quiet. The room smelled like bleach (very clean) when we got there. Everything was clean in the room. Our room had a bunch of lamps but only a couple of the lamps had lightbulbs. AC was cold. Good location close to 95. I read others reviews about seeing cockroaches everywhere, but we didn’t see any during our stay. Bed was very firm.

Decent room that was very clean and comfortable. There were a few of the normal amenities that were missing, that seemed kind of odd, especially since it's an extended stay hotel. Things like a coffee pot and hair dryer were not provided. The bathroom was nice, but the bed was very uncomfortably stiff and squeaky. Still, even with those issues, I got a great deal for the room through Hotwire and would probably stay there again.

Dominique was very kind and courteous. She provided all information I needed and made me feel welcomed. The stay was nice I would definitely come back and highly recommend.

Love this place. Spacious rooms! Each room has a kitchen and they provide the utensils. The only thing they don't have in The rooms is a coffee maker. Staff is very friendly.

Just because they make you rate it… Smells of weed and has a ton of cockroaches. I have also seen and been bitten by a lot of fleas since I checked in. Bed has stains on the sheets and makeup on the pillows. Towels are also dirty. Not really sure if they even cleaned anything. No tp in the bathroom either. Room is incredibly hot and I am so uncomfortable. The guy at the front desk was so rude and unhelpful. I would never stay here again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

The one star is for the service and because you have to rate it. This was the absolute WORST hotel I've stayed in. The first room; the shower head was dripping profusely with a big puddle of water on the bathroom floor. The tub had hair follicles throughout like someone literally just got through showering and shaving. Called front desk and they put us in another room. Cool. Second room; there were burn stains in the comforter and bathroom floor. If that wasn't bad enough, the outlet behind the bed began to POP and sparks flew on the floor. Then, the roaches. I will not stay here again.

Nice rooms. Full kitchen and fridge was really handy. Great for a night or an extended stay. Kinda hard to see from baymeadows though.

Solid hotel with upgrades in process. Clean, beds are good, kitchens are okay too. Service and front desk are awesome.

I came out of town to Jacksonville for my birthday and this hotel ruined my weekend. The second I walked in I smelled wet dog. Theres a layer of dust coated the light switches. Remote was so sticky. The 'kitchenette' was filthy. The microwave was so dirty mold was growing on the inside of it. Under the microwave there was so much damage and rust… just old and gross. And to top it off when I checked under the sheets there were LITTLE BLACK PUBIC HAIRS. Disgusting. One of our pillows had a mysterious white substance stain on it… We also requested new sheets and received some with BURN HOLES. Do not stay here. I did not hear a single vaccuum during my stay. It is like the staff has no pride in their work. Maybe if the spent their time cleaning instead of outside smoking cigarettes I wouldn't have been so dissatisfied. After leaving we were so itchy… must've been from the nasty sheets. Never staying at another extended stay again.

Lesson learned to read reviews first. This place is absolutely disgusting. Dirty towels in the room, dirty sheets & cockroaches crawling on the walls. Do not stay here!

Not bad but the staff sucks. I tried to check in at around 6 pm and stood in a vacant lobby for 15 minutes before anyone showed up. When they did they couldn't find my reservation for another 5 minutes. The lobby was also lacking any luggage carts. The floors throughout the whole building are dirty. The door handle to my room was loose and close to falling off. The only way I got it to work was to push the handle back into the hole and turn it forcefully. The room itself was fairly nice. It was clean and spacious. When I went to leave, the manager was arguing with a guest over towels and the luggage carts were still MIA. The breakfast was lame. They offered only muffins or granola with coffee. The location is fairly close to the highway and many restaurants. I wouldn't stay there again.

Literally the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at and I didnt even get to stay here. I booked a room with them which they booked the INCORRECT day (the day before my actual trip), then I called to make sure it was okay to check in after 3pm the day of and they said everything about my reservation was fine, however, upon arrival the front service woman explains to me that my reservation was booked for the day before and when I asked for a manager she stated “we don’t have a manager on duty today” what kind of hotel doesn’t have a manager ON DUTY? She told me to call a 1800 number but refused to refund me and told me they could not accomadate me since they were at capacity for the night. Disgusting. I still havent recieved my refund. Do not stay here!

The rooms are clean and nice enough. The bed is a little hard for my taste but to each their own. Lots of cabinets and storage for anything you bring with you on your stay. Having the fridge and freezer is really nice. The breakfast bar is pretty much just muffins, granola bars and coffee. The internet is also really bad. I had better internet using my mobile hotspot. Overall, probably 3 stars.

The workers were nice but the cleanliness is bad to me that I have almost a month cleaned me only once, and the cockroaches are finishing even though they have fumigated several times.

Terrible beds. Holes in the walls, microwave doesn't work right. Outlets in kitchen area don't work. Sofa uncomfortable, terrible cable. Smells of smoke. Party going on in rooms near ours, sounded like a bar after 11 p. M. On a weeknight.

Got to the room and got settle in quick as it as 1am. First Thing I notice was that 5 pillows was all over the bed without pillowcase. So, husband went to front desk and got them. While then, I stay in the room with my two girls. Walking to through out the room, I notice room looks like it wasn't clean. Cockroach with food in the kitchen floor, bobby pins on the carpet, and more dirty paper like all over the room. Shower water wouldn't go down, and sink light look like it was going to fall down any minute. Took pictures and went down to front desk, and nobody was there. Pay 100$ for 1 bed room.

Everything is as advertised, the hotel looks nice. Rooms are clean. Good Wi-Fi. Plenty of parking. Very nice staff.

This place was disgusting. I was up all night killing roaches! The staff was unfriendly and very unprofessional. Don't waste your money.

Back in the cut with multiple restaurant nearby. Decent lobby and so so rooms. Pet friendly.

Roaches and needles this place sucks. Crack heads out back. It's bad.

The room we had was clean and the fact that it had a kitchenette was a bonus. The beds were comfortable. Lobby was clean and staff was friendly. The hotel service grab and go breakfast which consist of muffins, granola bars, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal and grits. The only complaints was that the hotel is non-smoking yet we could smell smoke coming from some rooms and our blanket had cigerette burns in it.

The first room we went to had a fitted sheet on one bed and nothing on the second bed. Dirty counters and toilet. The second room is fine. Have to get what you can due to the hurricane. Trash pile is growing daily by the stairwell. I would not recommend this place. The grab and go breakfast is a cup of coffee.

There was roaches and bed bugs in my room! I found a empty sex pill wrapper under the mattress suggesting that this room was poorly cleaned if cleaned at all. I examined the mattress after getting bit by bed bugs and it looks like someone got murdered on it, the dark moldy stains are so sickening, it's no wonder why the bed bugs are so invasive. The shower wouldn't turn off, so I had to listen to the sound of water leaking the entire time. They refunded me for my stay, but honestly the welts from getting bit by bugs, the lack of proper sleep and having to carefully clean all my belongings cost me more. Worst experience ever and highly recommend avoiding this place. I wouldn't give this place 1 star but unfortunately its the only way I can post this review.

The room was clean and smell like Clorox. Supposed to have a semi functioning kitchen no dishes or pots and pans no oven to use. AC leaks onto the floor in the room. Check in with safe and easy. If you stay for more than one day if you need more towels and washcloths you must go to the front desk to retrieve them.

Waited for 30 min during late check in due to no one being at the front desk. Clerk could not honor price that was given by the reservation center. Was having serious issues with the website as well. Have not heard back from a best price guarantee agent either past the 24hr window. The room was clean but the hotel walls in the hall was dirty as if something was spilled against it.

The hotel was quite possibly the worse expeirence ive ever had while traveling. We check in and go to our room only to be assualted by the pungent aroma of cigarettes. The air filter seems to have never been changed. We proceeded to complain about the situation yet when we arrived at the hotel later that night nothing had been done. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk they offer to change our room with the stipulation that if that room wasnt available we would be "stuck". The room we were transfered too was in better condition but still had a lingering bouquet of mold. Once we settled in and left for work the next day we were greeted by a roach making it was into the room. The following day I woke up to the screeching sound of the fire alarm blaring. It was atleast 30 minutes before we were told there was no emergency and that a child had pulled the alarm and longer still before it was silenced. The service was horrendous and bathtub had a water leak that was so bad its as if the faucet was half open… do not stay at this location unless your goal is to catch an std from the linens. (we found a blood stain on a pillow and an unknown fluid stain on the comforter)

Very poor. The shower was dripping A LOT! was hard to sleep because it sounded like someone was taking a full on shower. Their computers are very slow which caused many of the guests to be irritated, waiting 30 minutes just to get a room key. We had booked for 2 queen beds and they had us down for only 1. In a hotel full of maybe 300 guests, they had only 2 luggage carts. This wasn't very helpful when you're extremely sun burnt on the shoulders and have to carry everything from the second floor. We actually had decided to stay an extra night but since we had to check out we just booked a much less expensive motel for one night, Motel 6 and though it was much smaller, it turned out to be 30x better. I wish we had stayed there the entire weekend.

Rooms were messy! The whole entire place was messy trash everywhere and trashcan completely full! Roaches in stairwell dead I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EXTENDED STAY IN JACKSONVILLE OFF OF EXIT 341

Easy to book. Lady up front gave us wrong keys but overall stay was good.

I stayed for over a month the property wasn't maintain. The manager was the rudest person there and the rooms could've used some bleach. The young lady and the safety officer with the dreds are great. Other than that I would've rated it lower. For the price I expected better. Very disappointed.

Well were do I start. When me and my family arrived the bed rest was broken. We never got room services to clean our room. We took our blankets downstairs and towels because they said they would have to wash our blankets because there were no extra ones? If it were my hotel i'd have extra blankets. I wasn't mad at any of the above what really got me was a male in the front office was very rude, had a big attitude, but my sister treated him with respect she said thank you even for his bad service. When we walked away he burst out to laughter, which is very sad in my opinion. Ive stayed in a lot of hotels and by far this was the worst one. I really hope someone sees this and chooses a different hotel. But at the end of my trip there was a lady who was very very kind, thats why I gave it a 1 star or else it would be 0 stars.

Worst hotel I've EVER stayed in. Staff is TERRIBLE and wouldn't bring me sheets or pillows because the ones that were in the room were DISGUSTING. So I brought the entire bed set down and they told me I had to bag it because they wouldn't touch "dirty sheets" oh excuse me? But you expect me to sleep on them? Wow. Got attitude and was treated terribly. I travel a lot and his is by FAR the crappiest dirtiest hotel ever. Staff sucks. Oh, also they told me I couldn't get two muffins for breakfast. Only one per guest. What am I SIX?! I'm a grown man. They don't even have breakfast. Quick grits and muffins. Terrible hotel. Do not book with this hotel. Everything is stained and dirty. From the floor to the roof and smells like puke and cigarettes. I would give negative stars if I could.

I moved here to Jacksonville just this week and I am staying here at the Extended Stay. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. While it's not the Hilton, it is a nice place for the amount of money. I was originally booked for 6 nights but haven't find a house yet so I booked additional 5 nights. If the place was truly ran down I would have booked somewhere else. The only problem I had, the room they originally have us didn't have sheets on the bed out a shower curtain but as soon as I went to the desk they have me another room and curved the problem.

This hotel needs a whole new look. Paint job, new rug, upgrade rooms and staff needs to be replaced by professional individuals. I just could not wait to move out. I went to another hotel until I move in to my apartment. Their were roaches and mice in the room. The hotel smells dirty. The towels were stain. Extended stay can be a wonderful place to stay but it needs a whole new look.

Don't ever, ever, ever stay at here! after, paying online. They gave my room away and sent me to the down worst traphouse /motel! this is not fit humans to inhabit even for minutes! the carpet was so filthy and full of stains. The bed was hard, but the lien was clean. The bathroom was ok. Although the kitchen counters were out date raggedy! breakfast was just unacceptable, this was something that should have been on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere. The only good moment was the guy with dreds! rate it z-e-r-o.

Places NOT to stay… Extended Stay and Suites off Bay Meadows Drive in Jacksonville. I cannot begin to describe my utter disgust with this place… The first night we checked in, and they sent us to a room that wasn't even made up. They finally sent us to another room that was made up, but not really 'clean' — there were dirty wash clothes on the floor behind the trashcan in the bathroom. Extended Stay = housekeeping once a week. 2 weeks of being here and I only got housekeeping by extending a week and making it a condition of my extending. 8 days later, I get housekeeping and I think I'm finally on a roll to normalcy. But now it's 2 weeks later plus a day and no housekeeping — even though I asked for it on Monday and I watched them write the note for housekeeping. I cannot wait to get out of this hell hole. And if this was all that was wrong I could probably deal with it… but it's only the beginning… let's just say I cannot wait to get moved into our new place this weekend. If you EVER have a choice in places to stay, do NOT stay here. Note: My employer paid for the first 2+ weeks, and I was paying after that while I was waiting for our new place to become available. I will be sharing my experiences with my employer who handles a large number of IT contractors in the area. My only regrets in this review? I won't be leaving until Friday and it's only Tuesday. I can't give less than 1 star. : ( The only 'good' thing?

Well let me start off by saying this place is crap! Me and my family came here to have a good time and go to the beach. When it came to night time we all went to sleep and my dad woke up in the middle of the night with bite marks on his chest, and got up and saw a BEDBUG! crawling on his leg! So he took it to the front desk to show evidence and they told him there very sorry and had to wait the next day to get a refund. I would NOT recommend NOBODY! To this piece of crap!

When we arrived, they didn't have the room that we reserved online, so one of us had to sleep on a fold-out couch with a huge hole in the thick plastic cover (we had to make an extra trip to ask for sheets, and they brought us two fitted sheets and a blanket, nothing else). There were pubes on the bedsheets and on the wall of the bathroom. A condom wrapper had been left on the floor, and there were dark yellow and brown stains on the walls, countertops, carpet, and couch. The towels were torn. This was certainly one of the filthiest hotels I've ever stayed in.

I am not a picky guy because I was born poor, but I have to say this is one of the worst experiences. The quilt has several cigarette holes. I swiched room three times, it is very dirty, the room, the elevator, the lobby room. I killed 2 Cockroach for them and they took it for granted. No star at all.

Clean rooms and excellent customer service. I stay here whenever in Jacksonville on business and would recommend the hotel to any business traveler looking for value and a decent room (also a good area with Starbucks and Fedex Office down the street).

Zero stars. OMG! I will start off with that first, very bad place, I checked in with a friend, check in time was 3pm, we arrived on time, but room wasnt ready, they stated they were short staff and for us to come back at 6pm and we did, but room still wasnt ready, finally we were able to check in at 6:40pm, walking through the hallways it was very creepy looking, trash on floors, damage walls noticeable up and down the hallways some of the holes was covered with plastic. In the room there wasn't no soap, silverware, coffee pot or anything, had to go to the front desk to ask was given a coffee pot that was dirty and stained, I was going to try hard to make the best of it, and was going to flush water through it and try to clean it, but it didn't even work, the remote control to the TV didnt work, the front desk had to change it out twice before we got a working remote. Holes in the chairs, counter top in kitchen had lots of burn and stains marks, the stove counter top was burn and rusted, the furniture in the living room area the wood tables was broken around the edges, the dresser had two drawers in it and one wouldn't even open, the bathroom shower area you could see stains all in the tile grout, the place had roaches, and I killed to very small spiders as well, I mean I was so grossed out there, its truly no words, that place was so under kept, it looked like a place for the homeless or drug users, the place was just very nasty.

Im actually in the motel right now and it isn't that bad actually. Im on the top floor, I'm apparently in one of the better rooms. I have other people that I know in different rooms and their rooms seems out of date! Like it just looks old. But my room is really nice, everything works and the room is clean. Nice dressers and a nice 32' hdtv with a couple of cable channels to watch. Kitchen is alright not dirty at all, everything works like new. There isn't any bugs, the bathroom is nice as well. Not dirty and no bugs. But overall it's a nice place to stay. Ohhh the break fest suck's. Just a muffin fruits and coffee. Ohhh and I think prostitutes come back in forth out the building and up and down rooms. Shouldn't be a problem though! Sometimes there is yelling. But to a minimum.

I recently stayed at this hotel for nearly 4 months because of work. This was my first time at any kind of Extended Stay and I was leery at first, but it was mostly a positive experience! The room was clean, but knowing I was going to be there for a while I added my own cleaning on top. The weekly house-keeping was awesome, though some did better jobs than others. The parking lot was safe and well-lit and I never had any instance where I felt unsafe, even when walking my dog for her late-night pee. The manager and staff were attentive and friendly, addressed noise issues for the most part immediately — but these were infrequent and mostly on weekends. They made sure I got my mail and when a discrepancy came up on the bill they notified me and helped me to address it right away. There's a long sidewalk down Western Way, and this ended up being a great place for daily dog walks once I was more familiar with the area (these reviews made me think it was some kind of ghetto, which I didn't see at all). Anyways, this place would be my first choice going back to Jacksonville, because they took good care of me the first time around.

I work away from home and stay here. I really like it here. It is quiet, the staff is nice and the parking lot is safe. I have stayed here a month at a time twice in 2014, and will continue to enjoy the reasonable price of lodging here.

I wish I can give it NO stars. Ok, the place is an ashtray. The smell of cigarettes was so bad, my family and I decided to sleep in the minivan, somewhere outside that area. I was told that the hotel was used as a meth lab (true story). The whole staff looked confused, and they didn't pay any attention to any of the guest from the hotel. If you are a meth head, drug dealer and user!. This is your hotel. I refuse to stay at that hotel. Don't book here.

There were not many reviews about this place here so I wanted to write one and make life easier for folks hunting for hotels. I am going to say it only once: DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. It is a different story if you are into drugs, then you may enjoy this place. And yes if you want to scare your kids or just punish them for something bad they did, do bring them here for a holiday. I got here because I booked a secret hotel through Hotwire. In general extended stay america hotels are good, but this one turned out to be an exception. Elevator, rooms and whole hotel smell like garbage. Many drug related and unclean people can been seen roaming around here.
