Have your front desk agent have more sense not to be rude. I asked a simple question about my reservation and was completely attacked. Had to cancel my reservation due to her attitude. Need to work in customer service for sure…

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The suites are exceptional. I wish everything was open! Due to COVID-19, you can’t experience all they have to offer, but you can see it. I’ll just have to come back! Highly recommended!

Shout out to Sonesta ES Suites for their proactive approach to environmental concerns. My suite had a dispenser for shampoo, condition and shower gel. The breakfast had reusable plates and silverware as well as biodegradable plates. The suite itself was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Omg, great price, awesome unit. Complimentary dinner and breakfast. Such a lovely place. Only here for 1 night but would definitely recommend this place. Would easily come here again if we ever get lucky enough to travel to Florida again.

We are locals and booked a suite for one night. Our grand daughters 5th birthday. Our grand daughter has 4 sets of grand parents who she has traveled and visited with at hotels and resorts all over Florida. She loves hotels and swimming pools. So we tried to find a nice suite to stay in for her day.
Now as a military family we have traveled all over and most of the time have used a debit card to pay for accommodations. We understand Hotels need to protect themselves by asking for a deposit plus price of stay and other charges which we will gladly pay if they are clearly stated up front either by which ever service we used or the Hotel itself. But it was apparent from the moment we arrived front desk clerk had no intention of honoring our reservation. First we waited almost five minutes before someone came to front desk. Then she acted surprised that more than 1 person was going to stay in our upstairs room. We did call to confirmed our reservation for the loft and accommodation for 4 adults and 1 five year old child the week before. We mention we were local just staying one night for our child's birthday, clerk barks out, "No Parties are allowed in rooms! " At which point our grandchild began to have a meltdown because no party! And out debit card declined.
Clerk declined to mention we we being accessed almost the price of 3 nights stay as a deposit for the loft even when asked.

Large rooms and nice kitchen.

Really messed up on check out charge me for someone else’s room and charge the other person for my roomCan’t understand how this happened since I use my credit card to check out I was very unsatisfied and it took a couple days before my money was reversed back to my card.

First off, CLEAN. We tried another hotel around the corner and literally walked out. This place was clean, friendly, and took animals. We were displaced by a hurricane and they have been nothing but accommodating. Breakfast was simple but good.

Very nice clean and spacious rooms. Free breakfast the next day. Had some noise problems but that was not the fault of the hotel. Would stay here again.

I don’t even want to give this place one star but it is necessary in order to do a review. This hotel is located in a horribly unsafe area. The office was inside one of the hotel rooms! The girl was very unpleasant. I was never made aware prior to my arrival that there would be fifty dollar incidental fee per night! I opted to go to the next exit, Old St. Augustine Rd and booked an HIG.

Nice place and good facilities. Reasonable rate stay. Fully equipped kitchen with complimentary English breakfast.

We always stay here when we are home for vacay or visiting our family. Always simple check in and noce clean place my family can count on to be home away from home.

Fully renewed. Great space in the suite full blown kitchen and breakfast is included. Great location parking is free Wi-Fi is free. Rooms smelled like new furniture which was not good but tolerable. Service was cold (didn't make me feel at home) but nice anyway.

Rented large suite room, then learned that breakfast really doesn't exist unless you like microwave sandwiches and old toast. Also ran out of to go bags for takeout breakfast food, since you can't eat inside a small apartment set up. No filled shampoo /conditioner, door lock didn't work all the time. Aside for large rooms, the description of room doesn't match room. 2 bedroom with loft means, one bedroom and another room set up in loft. Not a fan of misleading room description. Wouldn't know if this is a choice next trip up here. Sad and not a good experience overall.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at. We stayed in a room with a loft. It is sooo clean and the beds are extremely comfy. We are buying the same matress for our new home when it's built. The room has plenty of Dishes, a full fridge and stove/oven. Our girls stayed in the downstairs room. The front desk ladies were very kind and helpful. Right now there is some construction going on so it has been a grab and go for breakfast but it works. The pool is clean and pretty big. We have been staying here for 4 days and I haven't had one problem. We are coming back with our crew for another week. Which I'm very excited for. You can hear the traffic from my room but it wasn't bad. I look forward to all of our stays here!

The hotel itself is wonderful I love The Deco and the beds were the most comfortable the setup is just what I need but management is horrible I do not appreciate the daytime manager she is not very friendly and profiles and judges people I don't think she should be a manager at all.

My husband and I stayed for a week. The room is comfortable, clean and in great condition. The daily room service was an added plus. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will stay here again.

Booked 2 rooms at this hotel 2 months ago to have a place to stay for an event. Just now I received a message saying that my reservation is cancelled, How are you about to tell me that my reservations (MORE THAN ONE) is cancelled THREE DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT? EXCUSE ME?! where am I going to find a hotel? This is some bull that all of a sudden this is happening so close to the event. If you all wanted to charge more for the rooms in the hotel or whatever because an event is near by, get with the memo before hand. The best part is that as I get on here to leave a review I see other people who are having the same issue. Update: Management does not want to even speak to me. Ive been on hold for well over an hour with no response. I call back and they hang up on me.

Terrible experience booking this hotel I book 2 rooms months in advance so to make sure I would be set. I receive a message that my reservation has be cancel 3 days before my event where in going to find a hotel. On top of that they charging more for the room. ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS IS BULL… I sure there place is great but come one. I see that people are having the same issue just find another hotel don't even bother booking here it a waste of time and money.

If there was a possibility for a ZERO star rating, I would give it. I am sure the hotel is wonderful but I have had a reservation since November 2017 it is now the end of April and they are cancelling my stay *3 days* before I am due to check in due to "their contractors not being done with their buildings". During my call to them to find this out, they hung up on me. I will NEVER do business with this hotel EVER. Their staff was completely unprofessional and could have handled this with A LOT more couthe. They just cancelled reservations for the BUSIEST time of their quarter at the very least. Welcome to Rockville is HUGE and everywhere is completely sold out. They will learn.

Location is convenient to highway and interstate, but quiet. I've stayed here several times when I'm in town for work. The rooms are consistent, always clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast items vary, but I appreciate that there is always some type of breakfast meat and egg, not just cold carbs.

This is the best hotel I have been in flordia it has a amazing pool and basketball court.

The one star rating was based on cleanlines. My first room had a significant amount of hair on the sheets which of course leads me to think they may not change sheets between guest. They changed room and "upgraded" to a loft but the bottom bed had hair (again) and the top bed had a freaking spider (eeewww). I was done at that point and booked another hotel. They were nice enough at the front desk but house keeping needs to be improved big time.

The Sonesta es Suites Jacksonville was one of the best home away from homes I have ever stayed at. We were assisted in check in by a new lady named Trish who went out of her way to accommodate my disabled mother and myself who has allergies. We stayed in the bi-level suite which had a king bed on the first floor and a queen bed on the second. Each floor had its on bathroom and the suite had a fireplace, full kitchen with a refrigerator just like home. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and would recommend this accommodation to everyone. I thoroughly look forward to returning to this lovely establishment very soon.

Located in an odd business park area with motels and suites towards the front. Place itself was nice. Breakfast was standard good. Room could have been a bit cleaner, but it wasn't dirty either.

Great rooms. Very comfortable. They need to work on the breakfast but the coffee is great.

Interesting lay out. Rooms are like mini condos. 4 rooms per building. Liked the interior lay out and work desk with manager style chair in room. Exterior of buildings looked old.

Unit 1422 was very clean but it needs updating really bad. Dated furniture and the carpet looks so old. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was ok and the bathrooms were ok. The railing around the entire building had chipped paint and really bad rust. The landscaping was nice. The front lobby had a very nice lady working. We would never return unless it was updated. It also had old an run down hotels leading up to it. It seemed like you were in the ghetto. Made us feel better with a police station across the street.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… I have to say this is a great experience the room is really nice and comfy and so clean. The front desk lady Mary is so nice. I would put this up there against any 5 star… I will diffinently make it a point to stay in the Residence Marriott when I travel from now on.

Recently changed brands from Residence Inn. Staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the breakfast attendant. Breakfast offered eggs and a different hot protein each day. The brie cheese was an unexpected treat. Parking was barely adequate. The room was quiet and comfortable. Tucked away off the highway, no road noise.

We are residence Inn fans. And this by far does not meet expectations. I hate dirt! Pull out couch was so dirty and uncomfortable that we r actually checking out. Stayed two extra days on our trip as a bonus. Very disappointed.

Don't expect to connect to the internet. This place must be running a 14.4kbps modem. No hot tub, high traffic noise, pretty sure the Day's Inn close by rents rooms by the hour. Upstairs floors were installed without screws, so any room on the top floor transmits high noise to bottom floor. Outdated furniture. Mediocre at best.

Quality room an amentities nut there was an issue with the Wi-Fi kicking my devices on an off all night.

The rooms were dated but well maintained. Our room was surprisingly large and the staff was great. The surrounding area can be a little questionable at night.

Nice room. The kitchen is pretty new. It's a bit close to the highway. If you are a light sleeper then bigger trucks might wake you up.

It's not horrible. The staff seems very friendly. The rooms were clean. They could have used a good vacuuming but it was alright. The beds are comfortable. The problem with the hotel is that because it's next to the interstate, it's very loud. You would need the TV on to drown out the sound all night. Our other problem was that our neighbors above us were loud. Not because they were partying but just because you can hear people walking around and moving stuff and talking. The floors must be thin. It was/is very difficult to sleep. And the pillows aren't so great. We probably wouldn't stay here again but some might not mind it.

I had the worst experience ever here last night. First problem. The was a bunch of teenagers that were there on a trip with no supervision and unfortunately they talked, partied and smoked right outside my room door. After I spoke with front desk clerk three times she informed me she'd sent someone to ask them to keep it down but 2hrs later they were still there. Then with all the commotion going on outside I heard a loud bang! Initially I thought it was the teenagers that was outside my room's music however I heard something gushing from the bathroom and oh my gosh I realized I had about 3minutes to get all my belongings out of the room or everything I bought into that room would be floating within the next 5min. I gathered everything even though some of my belongings got wet and stood at the front until they sent their security guy to give us a key to another room. No they didn't offer to give me my money back even after me asking. All they could say is they could give me 3, 000 pts. Then when I recognized they put pts on the wrong account front desk Beverly told me she apologized and said there was nothing she could do about that. That was a double slap in my face. I hate I ever told my boyfriend to book me a room there.

Everything about this hotel is awesome. Beds are really soft with memory foam, the pool is a deep 8 feet, and it has the luxury Marriott breakfast.

A wee bit rustic, but it grows on you. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice amenities for a weary traveler. They do allow dogs, so keep some bones in your pocket. If you like Indian food, check out the 5th Element right up the street. Best I ever had. For real.

Beautiful and big efficiency style units with stainless steel appliances and basic kitchen necessities. Staff is always nice, serviceable breakfast, and edible dinners. Only down side is many drawers and closet with doors that are quasi broken/stuck. Very good option for long term stay needs. Near highway, many restaurants, and stores.

Newly remodeled, kids loved it, close to shopping.

I'm very familiar with the Jacksonville area, and thinking I could find the place easily was a huge mistake. The hotel itself is in a nice secluded area, but when we called and asked for directions, the front desk attendant was sarcastic and vague. The room itself was straight out of the 70's, and about 15 minutes into the stay at the hotel, the headboard fell off of the wall when I simply plopped on the bed. Generally I'm happy with most Marriott locations and hotels, but this was a sad example of a Residence Inn. Thankfully the front office manager took a few dollars off the final bill when we checked out.

Although I was pleased/surprised to be upgraded to a "penthouse, " as I walked towards my unit, I realized how close the roaring highway would be. I slept with the TV on to drown out the sound. Acceptable room inside. The leftover goo in the welcome information book made me a little uneasy. Free internet is nice. If you're traveling with kids and want some space away, this would be a good option for the value-conscious. Otherwise, it's just average at best.
