Loved the ocean view rooms! You are able to walk to beach and Moonstone Bar & Grill is right next door their food is good.

Beautiful View. However, our room is definitely not newly renovated. I wish it was. It can use a touch-up and some new chairs and sofa. We stayed here a few years ago, and came back because we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the Superior Ocean View King with Balcony on the 2nd floor. Cambria is my fav coastal place to go. My bf reallly liked the room & how close it was to the ocean! We plan on going back. We had a great time! Staff was friendly & all Covid precautions were taken. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the place to go! Don't forget to eat next door at Moonstone Grill. Delicious food & friendly staff.

We stayed her during our first family road trip after my nephew was born in 2017. Such a lovely property and a great drive to Hearst Castle. Wonderful service. I’d love to stay there again!

We absolutely love this place we came here for our 21st Anniversary, we had a great partial ocean view room with a Jacuzzi tub, we had dinner next door at moonstone beach bar and grill which we also recommend love this place we are definitely coming back.

Beautiful suites, the jacuzzis are very nice, outdoor fire pits turn on in the push of a button, right on the beach, and next door to one of the best restaurants in town.

Beautiful and romantic jacuzzi suites, we were even given a bottle of wine to take back to the room for our first wedding anniversary vacation. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. I could not recommend anyone better. It’s literally just steps away from this beautiful beach with tide pools that are just jaw dropping. The patio view was just steps away from the fire pit area. One of the best parts is that the neighbors is a bar & grill that has delicious food and wonderful drinks. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for making out first wedding anniversary something to remember.

Front desk staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Room was lovely and had a great ocean view.

Our favorite place to go to. We've been going here for 20 years. We always stay in the suites, the front ones, they have the best views & I love that they added 2 outdoor fireplaces. Perfect to watch the sunset (when you can) drink your wine & sit by a cozy warm fire & watch the ocean.

King Jacuzi suite — Great room with a patio with ocean view. Jacuzi was sweet too, comfortably fit both myself and my wife.

Lovely place. Came here for my sister in law's wedding and it was very nice. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

The location was beautiful and the service excellent My particular room had a slight odor.

We loved this spot on the coast and our room with the hot tub was very roomy with a fireplace in it also and a nice seating area, I loved all the plantings on the grounds and the restaurant next door was fantastic.

Booked a room for my husband's birthday had a long drive checked in no problem our room had a big hot tub an fire place very clean an comfortable we had lots of fun. Only negative thing come check out you need your room key to open lobby door which I had used walked an said asked where morning breakfast was located. An I believe her name was Beth. She worked front desk said excuse me what room are you even staying In? I was suprised an a little offended that she had only asked me that an no one else? I am latina Anyways over all great place amazing views an highly recommended for couples.

Simply beautiful. Worth the price, not fancy or elegant, just beautiful. Room is nice, bed is cozy, but the view… the view is gorgeous. You can hear the waves chashing and the gulls crying. Beautiful.

Moon stone beach is the best place to stay on the cost. Two nice restraunts within walking distance. Ocean view and sunset is spectacular.

Hotel was amazing. We got the full ocean view room and it was spectacular. Fire place, full in room jacuzzi, huge bathroom. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly. Cambria is such a beautiful place.

The mattresses need to be replaced. They sink in on both sides and it’s like you’re sleeping in a carved out hole. The fireplace hardly puts out any flames. The sheets had a big brown stain. The room is nice, and the view is perfection. The price is too high on the oceanfront rooms. It was almost $600 for 2 nights.

We enjoyed our stay. They had many little extras that we liked in particular. Wine and cheese was offered in the evenings There were fire pits overlooking the beach. The bed was comfortable. However, the shower was not great. Low water pressure and vacillating between hot and cold.

Room was spacious, clean & had a fireplace. Heaters could use a cleaning, though. Check-in and check-out were fast. Front desk closes at 10pm, so no late-comers tramping down the hall with their roll-away suitcases making noise. We would stay there again.

It's right next to the beach which is great. The room is neat and clean. They offer complimentary wine and cheese platter and tea and coffee. They give snack baskets filled with snacks and instant oatmeal, which is what they offer as complimentary breakfast. They have the Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill restaurant right next door, which offers really good food.

Great location with a view of the beach on the second floor. It's cute quiet and quaint. Only downside that I didn't like were two things: 1) they do not offer a breakfast like the other inns nearby, but there is a lovely sweet fruit and snacks basket they offer and switch out every morning. Sucks as I don't like sweet things so nothing of the basket really curbed my hunger in the AM. 2) Bottled in the rooms smelled a bit old and plastic-y. Definitely been sitting there too long : ( overall though, the staff was really accommodating and parking is plentiful as I know some inns didn't offer lot parking.

The room was great and staff was helpful. The carpet in the room was dirty, but everything else was clean and well maintained. It's right by the ocean. I was pretty upset that the picture I was shown before booking did not resemble the room at all. It also took a lot of exploring to find a restaurant that charged reasonable prices.

Clean rooms. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in finding nearby restaurants. Location is perfect for a visit to Hearst Castle. Right across from the beach, which has trails you can walk along.

Made reservations for my wedding/honeymoon, I was asked if this was a special occasion which I replied yes I am getting married. The lady taking my reservation replied congratulations and said for the special occasion they would have a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. Well when get into room no wine! So why even ask me if its a special occasion and tell me your going to do something your not? Front desk was very matter of fact and not welcoming. Plus our day of departure they locked us out off our room at 9:30 in morning, check out isn't until 11:00 am. The three stars are for room, view and housekeeping. We stay in Cambria several times a year but sadly won't be here!

Location is right next to the ocean. Jacuzzi suites have a nice patio with views of the ocean. Everything worked well. Breakfast included a basket with oatmeal and peanuts. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I just literally walked into my house from spending two fabulous nights in room 101. It's was pricey until I stepped into the beautiful room. The patio was perfect for hanging out and watching the sun come up or go down. The bed was spectacular! The lady at the front desk will move heaven and H… To make your stay the best! Her name is Mary and she goes way beyond a typical front desk receptionist. If you need it, she will get it no matter what it takes. She was a blessing to my mother daughter weekend. I would highly recommend this quant little hotel if you want to be pampered and make special memories. I have already booked another stay in April 2017. Can't wait to see Mary again. Thanks for a great time.

A overall nice hotel. I had an ocean front king and I really enjoyed it. Some signs of wear and tear in the room but was very clean. Similarly priced for the area. Friendly staff. I would definitely return.

On our way to Monterey we stood at the Cambrian landing in inn suites. The rooms are small but they have a great movie. The people that work there and super nice and were very helpful. Planning on dropping by next summer.

This used to be our favorite place to stay. They also used to be pet friendly and now they no longer allow pets. I will be finding a new favorite place. When we called to make reservations they were not polite at all.

If you're looking for service, I would keep looking. The hotel is clean and of good quality but the staff is rude and apathetic about their client's experience. At 1am a tow truck driver pulled into the parking lot to swap out a faulty rental vehicle for one of the tenants. 1AM! There was no staff on-site to prevent the truck driver from running the truck the entire time he dropped one vehicle and loaded another — about one hour. All this time the truck beeped constantly while they worked. For the rates they charge this is not acceptable. When staff was notified in the morning it was as if they had not culpability what so ever. I believe the Cambria Landings Inn does not understand the importance to the component of service in the hotel business. I will not return to this hotel and I believe that there are other hotels in Cambria which do understand the importance of service, especially in providing a relaxing vacation destination and experience. Ugh.

Horrible experience! They switched our ocean view room and treated us like it was our problem. We had already driven 3 hours and chose to stay. Looking back we should have drove home. Where is the old management? Seriously disappointed. And NO bottle of wine with new management.

Rooms are clean and freshly painted, the carpet looks like crap. Good service,, would come back again.
