I love staying at any of the properties owned by the Owner of the Blue a Dolphin Inn. Friendly staff, especially housekeepers! Rooms are spacious and comfortable with lots off amenities. The views from oxen front room is amazing! Love listening to the crashing waves from bed upon waking every morning. Beautiful and relaxing visit❤️

This was the most spectacular establishment I’ve stayed on my cross crow try trip! The location is so great I am hesitant to tell you about it. The rooms are stunning and beyond comfortable. The shower was an other worldly experience. I might stay here again based just on the shower. Each room is appointed with everything you need. Also the ocean is maybe 8 steps away. Literally.

Beautiful location, rooms were clean and staff was friendly and professional. Loved listening to the ocean from our room and we enjoyed walking along the boardwalk path and Moonstone Beach. Nice that they would loan you binoculars to use during your stay.

Beautiful, peaceful stay. Rooms were exceptional, breakfast delivered to your room each morning, & you can hear the ocean waves (and we had a room furthest away from ocean). Walk across the street for beautiful walks along the boardwalk of Moonstone Beach. Walking distance to Sea Chest Restaurant… worth the 45 minute wait! Short drive into town where there are great restaurants & quaint shops.

Love everything about this place. The fact they give you a boxed breakfast at your door in the morning is so nice. Stayed at another place out there for the same cost and it had zero character, where Blue Dolphin excels in every aspect. Look forward to our next visit.

Great experience. Sadly we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency. The staff was kind and helpful getting us checked out early in the morning. We’re absolutely going to return.

Got a double queen room with partial ocean how. Very nice room, the view was as advertised and everyone is just so nice. Really enjoyed having breakfast prepared and delivered to you in the morning so that we could head out onto the beach. Wonderful place, would happily stay again.

What can I say this hotel is fantastic! The amenities are marvelous from daily chocolate chip cookies, to a complimentary picnic to go. The room and the location are great but it really gets amped up by all the amenities!

Amazing hotel right in front of moonstone beach. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. We stayed 2 nights and also got 2 free breakfast with our stay. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

We loved it Blue Dolphin we were sent there after the hot water heating system died at the Castle Inn. Im pretty sure we will be back. We loved the ambiance, the comfort, the little touches and our morning breakfast delivered to our door.

My stay at the inn was absolutely perfect. The view, the hospitality, the location, the amenities — it was exactly what I needed. And the breakfast was amazing! I will definitely be back.

Ocean front room was very nice. Expensive though for the area. Sister property is $100 less per night just a few doors away. Nice breakfast delivered to your room. Very pleasant staff. We will return.

Beautiful location right on moonstone drive across the road from a beautiful boardwalk where you can enjoy beautiful ocean views, sunsets and beach combing. The rooms are nice with TV mini fridge, kurig, microwave, fireplace, and fan. Just be warned there is no AC. While the area is usually cool the rooms can get pretty warm and stuffy on a few summer days when it can get hot here on the coast. Breakfast was brought to the room in the am and was very nice. We had a room which was $270 and while the location is beautiful and rooms are lovely, I just felt the price point is high.

Great setting! Great breakfast. Quiet. Friendly staff. Great view. Awesome boardwalk. Our room was a little close to reception, therefore the guests were a little loud.

Don't even consider staying at any other place. This Bed and Breakfast Inn was Amazing. Ask for the full ocean view room. There's nothing quite like waking up listening and seeing the ocean and having a cup of coffee. You'll not regret this stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here on our honeymoon. The staff is so cheerful and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast delivered to your door each morning with your choice of mouth watering items is to die for. Our view was stunning. Worth every penny we paid for such a lovely, memorable stay. Highly recommend.

This quaint place exceeded our expectations! We stayed overnight, 1 night. Really nice rooms — updated, well kept, very clean. Staff was SUPER friendly. The breakfast was awesome! Location was good too … Ocean front and very quick hop to town with nice selection of restaurants. I would definitely recommend!

We were just up there and had the Sandala Room upstairs. It was great to sleep with the window open to hear the waves and the fireplace heater keeping the room comfortable. We celebrated my husband's bday and they gave us the most delicious cake! The bed was comfy, we both had a good sleep, the room was immaculate and the service was excellent. The do serve you bfast in the room, which was good. I did get us Lattes at the Cambria Coffee which were excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed the Seachest again for dinner and the trip to see the Elephant Seals was not long and the babies, males and females were all active. What a great trip! Looking forward to coming again next year!

Blue dolphin inn is a relaxing and friendly place to spend your time in when visiting Moonstone Beach or Cambria. The staff is attentive, the rooms are clean, and a wonderful breakfast is included with your stay. I highly recommend this hotel and have stayed there muktiple times with my family and will again in the future.

Rooms were nice and cozy. Great fireplace. Friendly staff. Breakfast brought to room — that was a unique feature. Only downside was lack of fitness room.

My husband and I are locals and we stayed here for our 5 year anniversary. We had a lower level room with a direct ocean view and patio. Beautiful room with plenty of peace and quiet and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is perfect! Plenty of amenities. We had a great dinner just a block down the boardwalk and our complimentary breakfast provided by the hotel was surprisingly good. We only wished our stay could have been longer.

Great experience! Large large, well appointed room, with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was included, although it was somewhat mediocre. One nice thing is you order it the night before and they deliver it to your room. Located right on the beach, and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff. They provide towels and chairs for your visit to the beach. Also includes a charger for Tesla and another for other electric vehicles.

Great location, walk across the st and you are on Moonstone Beach Boardwalk overlooking the ocean. Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill is walking distance, town closes down at 9pm. Rooms are clean and modern, they have movies you can rent and bring you breakfast in a box that you can eat in your room or on their benches or take to the beach.

Could not have ask for a better location on Moonstone Beach. Walking distance to the Sea Chest Restaurant. Room was very nice super clean great amenities. Fireplace is not a real one it is electric but still nice ambiance. Walk right across the street to the the boardwalk to walk along the beach. 3 miles from downtown Cambria and 5 miles to San Simeon. I was a little bummed we reserved a ocean view and received a partial. They wanted $20 to upgrade it was worth the upgrade. A nice breakfast is delivered to your room in the AM. All in all a great experience. Will stay again.

Really great place to stay if you're looking to explore California's central coast, but don't want to pay $500 a night. Every room has a fireplace. The inn is right across the street from Moonstone beach so you can hear waves crashing all night if you open your window. Staff is super friendly and helpful, rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is complimentary.

Nice place, right on Moonstone Beach. The upstairs Ocean View rooms have a great view directly out onto the beach, with the northern corner room offering great sunset views. For the price, it certainly won't blow you away — but the rooms are spacious and modern, with the bathrooms nicely appointed. The "picnic breakfast" was surprisingly good.
