Very nice and clean. The View out the back was beautiful of the Gardens. It was extremely quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice place to go older but in Nice condition needs some upgrades I was very upset that the prices were extremely high but it was a holiday weekend. Husband was disappointed there was no pool or hot tub.

I LOVE THIS MOTEL! It is so cute and comfy! The front desk lady Missy is awesome. She is full of information! Recommended places to see and eat, and all were wonderful! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is quite large for a motel. We enjoyed staying here very much!

Location location location that's the Bluebird — best hotel in Cambria to stay so you can visit all the shops (which I highly recommend) in downtown easy walk to the east or west village. The Bluebird is older but it has ALWAYS been clean, and they have recently updated rooms, nice staff, pet friendly (if your are bringing a dog make sure you tell them when you make your reservation they only have a couple rooms made available for dogs) yes the walls are thin but I've been lucky and have NEVER had noisy neighbors, if you don't get enough walking downtown Cambria there is a very nice trail that runs behind the hotel and it's only a mile or so drive to Moonstone Beach Drive for an unforgettable walk on the beach!

Very clean and staff was accommodating to our late arrival. Older building so some wear and tear but I expected that. Beautiful lounging area inside the office with chairs and a fireplace to drink your free coffee or eat your free continental breakfast.

Quaint, local hotel. Have breakfast by the fireplace in the mornings. Go to family owned Chinese restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Town is quaint and interesting.

Very cozy, nice staff, great lobby/sitting area with fire and continental breakfast and all for a reasonable cost. It is not a big chain hotel, family owned and operated makes it quaint.

Have stayed here a few times for vacation. It's a cute place walking distance to all Cambria restaurants and shops Clean, but smallbrooms. Overall it is quiet, but sounds tends to carry between adjoining rooms and I could hear snoring next door.

Beautiful place with friendly service and comfortable rooms. Breakfast spread was pretty dismal, had to go get breakfast nearby.

Initially seemed nice but had a big problem. My wife & I wanted to sleep in after a late night at a friend's wedding reception. About 7A the smoke detector starts chirping, the batteries have died. When I called the front desk at 8A (on my cellphone, there is no phone in the room) I was informed the maintenance man was not in yet. I was further informed if I wanted to I could take the smoke detector down myself. This is a perfect opportunity to fall off a chair & file a lawsuit. At minimum they need to replace the batteries every 6 months. Better yet would be to take out these rinky dink residential smoke detectors & their batteries with something appropriate for a motel. Another thing, which I'll probably get trolled about. Fox News is on the cable but there is no sound. I don't know if Fox News is not supposed to on their system, there is a problem or there is an anti Trumper at work here. Whatever it is, it is annoying. For these items I am giving 1 star.

Good location, good price and all the comforts. Microwave, fridge, iron, hairdryer, etc. Comfortable and large beds, breakfast included. A great place to come to Cambria.

Cute hotel. Nicer than the online pics made it look. Fireplace and personal private balcony. Breakfast was next to nothing but there are plenty of great places nearby to eat. Pleasant stay.

This was our first time staying in downtown Cambria, we usually stay on Moonstone Beach. We enjoyed the convienence of being between the East and West villages, but missed the sound of waves crashing at night. Of course Bluebird was much more reasonable. The rooms and grounds were nicely decorated, and the staff friendly. We would have appreciated a coffee maker and tub in the room, and a few extra pillows. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, more healthy options besides sweets would have been nice.

Very pretty hotel just up from the main town and convenient for moonstone beach and Hearst castle. Great rooms and coffee and cake breakfast included.

I stayed in room 22 and it was clean, cute, and very charming. It's a great bang-for-your-buck place. The breakfast isn't much, some fruit, croissants, pound cake, OJ, coffee and yogurt during my stay, but still appreciated. It is especially nice to enjoy in their lobby, which is a beautiful historical building with a fireplace, comfy armchairs, and board games. Our room also had a fireplace and comfy armchairs. It doesn't feel fancy, but it doesn't feel lacking in any way. Overall, it's a sweet little place.

Suite B is the BEST! Cozy cottage feel with private balcony! Romantic getaway with a lovely creek and gorgeous garden in the back of the property. Gorgeous fireplace in the lobby area where a delicious continental breakfast is served every morning. Fair price for an ideal location. Not on the beach, but it was FUN to be in downtown Cambria for a change. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely little town and inn to stop for the night on a long family road trip. Lobby guest house was super relaxing in the morning to eat breakfast fireside. Feels like a place a president would escape to just to soak in the serenity.

Very friendly, lovely and historic. We hung out with the Labrador in the lobby.

One of the best inn I've been to. The staff was really nice and the breakfast is good enough. The room was clean and I really like the design of the room. The cost of the room is fair. The only bad part is the roof is thin and others can hear we talking while they are above us, and we can hear their foot step while we are below them. Nice hotel, definitely going back.

I LOVED this place! It's adorable and everyone is so friendly. It made arriving after a long day's drive, very pleasant. Our room was perfect… soft bed and sheets and the bathroom is recently renovated and very modern. The grounds are beautiful with flower beds and picnic tables to sit outside. We had a continental breakfast and met some of the other guests. We were told that some had been coming here for 3 generations! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Located exactly in the heart of Cambria. The room was simple, but clean and very comfortable. The employee who helped us was very friendly. I think that Bluebird will be my only option when return to Cambria.

A very nice old school inn in cute historic city of Cambria. Rooms are basic but clean and pleasant. The lobby is very nice but the breakfast could be better. Overall I had a very good experience.
