Went with the fam and we had so much fun! We loved the pool and giant tub! Oh and we also were so excited about the breakfast buffet. Yummy potatoes. We also got to bring our pup with us and make some new friends. You have to come here just to see the gardens, it’s like the Huntington. Amazing! Hope we can visit again soon.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Lodge for the Christmas Market. Virtual check-in was a breeze. We enjoyed great drinks and food in the bar. Our room overlooked the light display, so we were able to sit on our deck and enjoy!

I just love this place. Every time we come here we like to walk the stairs down to town. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. The staff are very nice.

Our family had the best time at The Cambria Pines Lodge. The food was wonderful and there is so much to look at all around. The Christmas lights are beautiful and so we'll put together. Our room was spectacular as well. I cannot wait until the next time we stay there.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, stay includes breakfast with beautiful gardens to wander through. Restaurant serves delicious dinners in roomy dining areas, lounge offers daily entertainment in the evenings.

Very welcoming staff, room was super comfortable, breakfast included was a REAL breakfast, not a prepackaged muffin and juice. Garden and grounds are very peaceful to walk through.

Great location and lodging for a son and mom. Beautifully wooded and near the beach. Beware of the takeout food from restaurant. Lots of hidden fees, over $12 worth. Somewhat worth it for the convenience and son ate all his salmon. Had a very pleasant stay. Will come back.

This was our first time staying here and we had a great time. It was nice to have most of the amenities open and available to the guest.

Beautiful place, great food, staff is great. We had outdoor dinner before Christmas lights and it was beautiful, lots of twinkling lights and a beautiful Christmas tree in the middle of the tented area. I will go again when in Cambria.

Never a disappointment! Great service, spacious rooms, and beautiful grounds. I miss their lounge and live entertainment during this pandemic, but that will return. Try to visit during the holiday season and enjoy their European Christmas Market!

Our favorite place❤️❤️❤️ to get away, pool, hot tub, bar with a band every night, and great food! We love the escape package. What a deal! Dinner for two, bottle of wine, room with fireplace, gardens to walk through, and breakfast the next morning. Now, what could be better than that?

The restaurant is outstanding! We had a group of 14 celebrating a birthday and we were very well taken care of, excellent service and wonderful food.

I got the special Halibut for dinner. Great service and the best Halibut, asparagus and rice I've had in over 20 years.

Beautiful huge resort! Our room was wonderful, we had the Forest View with a fireplace! What more could you ask? Well, there’s plenty! The garden was amazing, creative and artful filled with beautiful flowers and plants displayed in bird houses, a flowery bed, there was a gazebo, covered hideaways with tables facing a mosaic sun where you could pause or eat breakfast. You can hike down 257 steps to the quaint village of Cambria which was not as hard as you may think! The Lounge and service was great, very personable and the food delicious. We even enjoyed a guitarist and singer! Front desk was busy, but very accommodating and friendly. I was very sad to leave and can’t wait for the opportunity to return! 5 Stars from me!

Just spent a couple of days with a good friend who is 91 years old and she had never been to the Lodge. We take advantage of the coupon that is in the Bakersfield Newspaper. The value is great! Absolutely beautiful place, good food and hospitality! It is our new go to, when we are in Cambria. We would definitely recommend it. We were also able to enjoy the wildlife, deer grazing through the car park. Beautiful sight! ♥️

Great hideaway, beautiful staff, friendly and great food. We were there Easter Sunday. Big breakfast complimentary, fresh and delicious.

This place is good for people who are looking to stay in there hotel and have a lot of activities to do like swimming, nature walks, and and a spa. If you like looking put over the ocean FORGET IT, because the hotel is not in Moonstone beach. You have to take a 20 minute walk through town and cross a road to get to the beach, or you can drive 7 minutes to the beach and risk losing your parking spot. The food the free breakfast was disgusting everything was stale and taste gross. The room looks like a Airbnb the a old couple decorated in 1950 and has never changed, but in every room there are 3 beds to accommodate up to a party of 6. When my party opened the fold out couch bed is was covered in breadcrumbs from top to bottom. The only cool thing in the rooms and the Murphy beds that come out of the walls. Also the layout of the bathroom is really weird as well. The shower and toilet were in separate mini rooms and the sink was in the main room. Just a really weird in general.

My wife and I were visiting the area and had dinner here. The wine and beer selection was good and service was prompt. We started with an appetizer of "Maryland crab cakes"… Make no mistake, these aren't Maryland crab cakes. They were mostly filler and deep fried… And topped with sushi Sriracha mayo. Not recommended; in fact take out the description of "Maryland, " because that would get you thrown in jail back on the east coast. Contrast the attached picture with a Google of "Timbuktu Crab Cakes" and you'll see why. After the appetizer, my wife had the scallops and I had the prime rib, rare. In contrast to the crab cakes, these were both outstanding. The scallops were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the prime rib was juicy and delicious. Couldn't have been happier. We also shared the Mac and cheese, which was delicious, having a solid blend of real cheeses not oily cheese product. All in all, we would recommend going, but staying away from the crab cakes. We look forward to coming again when we are next in town to try other dishes.

I'm getting married at CLP. The staff has been very accommodating, friendly, and responsive to my needs as a Bride. Their gardens are beautiful and the rooms are spacious/cozy. The Cambria area is lovely! Their downtown has great food and shops. Plus the beach is just down the road. Perfect place a getaway!

Book this hotel this past Friday and boy what a experience me and my girlfriend had. First off the front office staff was pretty rude, was helped by a Latino male, I didn't get the name of him. He was obviously having a bad night or something. I'm pretty sure I was charged twice for my one night stay here at CPL since he told me my card didn't go through, and which it did after, so I had to transfer money. Afterwards I saw on my bank it was over 500 dollars for one night… but I think they fixed it after calling for a receipt for my stay. To top it all off when I received the keys to my room they did not work and parking was horrible to find near my room. So I had to drive back to get new keys. Came back to the front desk to get new keys and the guy gave me attitude. So I said "My key card wasn't working and he told me "those aren't key cards, they are room keys" which is basically the same thing. I had to keep repeating myself that I needed a new pair of keys, it was so infuriating/frustrating. He didn't even apologize at all! It's like this person didn't care about how I was feeling since it was getting late at night. In addition, let me talk about the rooms, I had better, the decor was not my taste and if this is called renovating, oh boy. It felt cold/damp in the room.

It is a jewel. The garden and organic garden are very well kept. The breakfast buffet included in the cost is a big plus. The suite was well laid out and near the pool. It is close to Hearst Castle.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend, so I am speaking on behalf of the restaurant — easily amongst the best tasting meals I’ve ever had. Outdoor fireplaces surrounded by gorgeous gardens make this place pretty incredible. Highly, highly recommended.
P. S. I suggest the vegetarian ravioli.

I stayed here recently for a couple nights. The hotel and surrounding area are both beautiful. The room was pretty nice and spacious. Hell, it even had a fireplace. Outside near the restaurant there are also some nice gardens to walk through. They have a nice lounge with a bar and live music. Oh, and a restaurant as well. The food at the bar was good, I didn't try the restaurant. The complementary breakfast was typical, and has room for improvement. If I'm ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay another few nights.

This lodge was delightful. It was quaint, cute, and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the TV had a good selection of channels (better than other hotels I have stayed at), the surroundings were amazing, and it was just so pleasant. This isn’t a fancy hotel like the ones in the city. It’s a little outdated but it’s very old and historic. The spa was so cute and little but the facial I got was spectacular (I’m leaving a separate review for the spa). The continental breakfast wasn’t special but it was tasty and the area was clean. The pool was heated and a lot of fun. I had a wonderful time. The best part about this lodge was the location! It’s on a big hill, nestled in the forest. It’s exactly 257 stair steps from the town and the views on the walk down are so beautiful. The town has amazing restaurants (which I’m also going to be reviewing). My stay here was wonderful and honestly this is probably one of the best, most high end hotels you’ll find in Cambria. I definitely recommend!

We were there for a 3 day conference. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful with well maintained gardens and a touch of whimsy. The staff was cheerful, helpful and always accomodating (especially Saul and Randy and our evening server). The food was great and plenty of it, served in our conference room which created a more intimate feeling than past locations. Everyone loved their rooms! clean, spacious and many with small patios or outside private areas. This is a great location and we will be back next year!

Garden-style hotel, beautiful environment, clean rooms, the whole hotel is a beautiful garden, in the morning there are deer.

We stayed here in the past and had a wonderful time. With this in mind we booked the Deluxe Suite for four nights in advance. Big mistake. We checked in and were initially put in a room that had not been cleaned from previous guests. Yuck. We came back from dinner and someone had parked in the space outside our suite door. We called front desk and were told that there is no assigned parking even for suites, and they have no control where people parked. We had to park across the road! We could go on and on but won't. We are disappointed beyond words.

Rustic but beautiful. Quiet and off the beaten path. Free full breakfast, and I mean a FULL, good breakfast! The gardens are gorgeous and fun. The deals are amazing. We love it there.

I’m an Event Decorator and I had the experience to decorate for the first time yesterday at this beautiful Hotel for a Quinceañera. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Cambria Pines is a sweet little lodge with cute, comfortable cabins and a nice restaurant. The staff was attentive and kind. The breakfasts were hardy and tasty! The grounds are gorgeous! Cambria is located near so many things to do. Highly recommend!

One of the best weekends of my life. The little gardens at the Lodge are too too cute and great for meandering. We walked the pathway in the back to the Cambria Nursery (which is awesome in its own right) and there is a stairway path that leads to the village. I'm hoping to return sometime soon! The best R&R I've had in a long time.

Delicious dinner, Beautiful scenery. We went here in 2017. Fast forward. We just had our Wedding ceremony here. Everything was fantastic to say the least. We stayed in a suite it was comfy, beautiful and perfect for the occasion. Sharon and her staff were more than willing to assist us with anything we needed. Some of our guests needed their stay extended and they accommodated them. Our Wedding went as planned. Saul was very helpful in helping us setup our tables and linens. Our Dinner was amazing steaks and chicken were cooked to perfection. Sides had great taste along with horseradish. Our table servers were fantastic they did a great job serving our dinner along with our Wedding cake. Kudos to the Chefs. We definitely plan on returning.

Its pretty nice for being a beach town motel type style. Rooms are updated. Bathrooms are decent. Water pressure sucks. Walls are thin, so bring ear plugs. Don't be the neighbor who parties all night because everyone will hear. The staff was great. The grounds around the lodge are very pretty. I would come back. And for the price, you can't beat it!

Location, great. Rooms great. Service, great. Have been two two weddings here and both have been great. The beaches near by are incredibly beautiful. Fantastic spot for a nice relaxing vacation. Only downside is the jacuzzi closing at 10. I really hope they change that because there is nothing better than a nice dip in the jacuzzi after a night of celebration.

This was a great hotel experience, brought my wife here with the Romance Package. Dinner was amazing and a great value for that and the room. Hotel is clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

We just stopped in to use the restroom. I have never stayed there, but I have visited the place before. When we went in this time, the front desk person did not greet us, but when I asked for the restrooms, she was very helpful and friendly. The hotel looks quaint, and it was clean. I would like to stay there someday.

The misses and I were able to experience the overnight dinner package. The accommodation were excellent, and the dinner exemplary (Martin our waiter did an outstanding job). It comes with a free bottle of house wine, the misses went with a Cabernet house wine which she absolutely adored. Live music drifted from the lounge as we idly chatted. It was devine evening, brought to perfection by the staff. We will be back.

Had a good time. Stayed here for a couple of nights. Enjoyed the room and the gardens. Kids explored the grounds and had fun with the pathways. Nice to stay in a large facility that feels secluded. We liked the hike down to town had a good time walking around the community. We would stay here again. Room was clean but did have ants in the bathroom. Probably to be expected when you stay in a room among the trees.

I got married at this location on Jan 20th, 2018. Everything was wonderful. We ran into a few complications a few months before the wedding regarding some changing of staff, but it all worked out. Saul was our go to guy for any logistical questions that we had, and he was very helpful to us. He was really friendly to the bride and I, even gave us a free drink each. He was always calm, and accommodating. Beautiful eyes, too. As part of the wedding package, my wife and I got to stay in an amazing little cot that felt like a little home. The bathroom was gorgeous with a huge shower and a big old jacuzzi. It was big enough to have the bridal party get ready in, and I definitely didn't hear anything about there not being enough space. I do believe it was the nicest of all places to stay within the lodge, with my parents shacked up in a rather small little room.

Thus is a great casual resort. The rooms have all the amenities of a normal hotel while bringing the feel of a cozy cabin. The grounds are lush and beautiful, with walking paths throughout the large property. The staff members are warm and friendly. Free breakfasts are good enough. Dinners are surprisingly high quality — the dinner package us very much worth the price. It is located just above the quaint downtown area, either a very short drive or a pleasant stroll down 257 steps (and back up on the return trip). Even with that close proximity to town, the rooms are in the forest, quiet and isolated from the crowds. This was our second stay and we are about to book our next trip. Very highly recommended.

Went to the Cambria Pines Lodge Lights and it was great. This is in addition to Cambria normal light festivities, and is only available to Cambria Pines Lodge guests. $5 a head and we'll worth it. As for the room, it was nice and comfortable. It was quite narrow but it went far back. Plenty of seating and sleeping options.

We attended the Christmas Market event. The food booths were good (my brother hated the cinnamon rolls though). Linn's restaurant even had a booth where they sold little versions of their signature olallieberry pies… how could I pass that up? There lots of cute little vendor booths too. But the most impressive part was the light displays. Wow. I've never seen so many Christmas lights in one place. And they were very well laid out, with themes… Underwater, Golden gate bridge, etc. It was amazing, and we are going to make this a new annual tradition for our family.

My wife and I did the two night special, which includes breakfast and dinner. We also attended the Festival of Christmas lights. The dinner was fabulous. The breakfast was buffet-style. We had a suite on the top floor which was wonderful. We do this every year, and we have never been disappointed.

Cambria pines lodge is magnificent hotel. The combination of the superior service and their amazing amenities combined with their top of the line food, this well rounded hotel is great. Not to mention that this hotel is on a beautiful property. You can just wake up, and go on a walk and see deer and see all kinds of birds. I highly recommend this hotel for any occasion. I promised your stay will be spectacular.

We love staying at the lodge. We have been multiple times. The staff are usually very nice. The last time we stayed the young lady (Valeria) the was at the checkin counter was rude and told us in a hateful tone " come back at 3 to check in" Mind you it was 10 minutes until 3. I thought this was going to set the tone for the stay but it didn't. The rest of the staff were great as always. The room was clean and comfortable. The dinners were fantastic. The weather was great. We love this place. One little secret… we love to take the trail down to the East Village. Gives us some exercise and it is refreshing. The stairs are steep but we enjoy having a cup of coffee at Lilly Cafe at the bottom of our hike. Will definately be staying there again.

Very accommodating! Came for my birthday and stayed 2 days. I was given a complimentary bottle of house wine. Restaurant was decent, bar had live music, room was a private suite and absolutely beautiful.

Room was a suite. Perfect. Clean. Private. On site restaurant, bar, live music, pool, hot tub. Food was great. Staff knowledgeable and nice. Feels like a resort. Downtown close by. Much fun. Beach 3 minutes down the street.

It felt like home! There was a fireplace in the room, bathroom with tub, back porch, clean, beautiful landscaping, birds chirping, convenient parking, and attentive service. The complimentary breakfast was really good as well (sit outdoors in the garden area for good bird sightings). Be aware that there is no air conditioning, and limited number of fans are provided. AC set aside, it was a wonderful experience.

We had the 2 room large suite with 2 fireplaces. Very nice sleeps as many 6 with a Murphy bed even. We had a local special rate including dinner. Our dinner was disappointing, our server was awful. I think she felt we were coupon customers and showed no attention maybe thinking it would be a small tip or something. I did report it to the operation manager on yelp and she assured me it wouldn't happen again. I will be giving it another chance this week. After trying it again we had the same room, it was awesome and the dinner was very good as we had a birthday in our party and the service was outstanding food was what we hoped it would be. Another good visit. Tried it once again and it was very good dinner no complaints saving for our next trip again soon.

We love Cambria Pines Lodge. I mean what's not to love about it? The food, the grounds, the atmosphere, the Gardens Oh My! It's all just one big lovely experience that we keep coming back for! I suggest you do the same and enjoy!

We are here on the home stretch of our USA round trip, so the 11th hotel out of a total of 12 hotels (17 nights).
It was a blessing to reach this area. We are very satisfied with the furnishing of the room and the complex.

I think Americans stand on this kind of hotel: Extremely rustic. This is more the case with us in Germany at workers "hotels or in the Black Forest.
Breakfast, however, is fine.
Minus points, however, are most for planning and eating: We were on 25 December. On the 12th of December 26 there. For days OpenTable was not available, so we could not reserve a table in the restaurant for the reserved room. Also not by phone (they didn't want to listen at all) or by e-mail (no answer). So we had to hope for a place in the lounge on site and eat there early on a full sofa between many people. And the food was also expensive for the performance you got. Pines Lodge prefers to reserve its restaurant for the Cambrians rather than keep places vacant for their hotel guests. This is a nonsense, especially on Christmas, where you have trouble finding something with space anyway. For foreigners, this is real fies. We've already been afraid to drive to the nearest McDonalds, which was 30 miles away.
In addition, the hotel did not want to be helpful, only the lounge was always referred.
This hotel is definitely not recommended, preferring to continue to Morro Bay.

What a lovely place to stay and what a lovely place for a wedding. The gardens were beautiful, rooms were nice, really liked the bed, loved that breakfast was included in the price of the room, and loved that after a night of dancing and drinking, all we needed to do was walk "home"! I highly recommend the Cambria Pines.

We hosted our family reunion with 75 people and 4 generations at Cambria Pines. It was the perfect place to accommodate all of the various families within our group. The staff was super helpful in setting up an evening of appetizers for our first night and ensuring that the rooms were close for each reservation. The staff throughout the grounds was usually very friendly and helpful. For this type of event, there isn't really a place to gather and hangout. It would have been nice to have the volleyball courts (which have been removed) or some other benches outside of the small gardens to visit with the larger group. No pancakes for 2 of the 3 mornings was also a disappointment to all of the kiddos as well. All in all it was a great location for our family. Everyone enjoyed the lodge and the surrounding area.

Our stay here was excellent. The staff are very attentive to everything, and they will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Desiree, who checked us in, was absolutely wonderful and right away made us feel welcome and "at home. " The room we stayed in (a suite) was very well equipped and very clean. Great location. Quiet at night, and yes, one can hear the ocean in the background at night. Breakfast was included, and included scrambled eggs, fresh salsa, sausages, assorted fruits, and juice and coffee. The food was excellent. Also, we opted for a late evening dessert, which was also wonderful. We would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely be staying here again soon.

Our accommodations were excellent. The service and wait staff and everyone we came in contact with were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Our room was spacious, with a deck and fireplace and really nice bathroom, the bed was comfortable. we would absolutely come again and recommend it to others.

Spacious rooms — great for a family getaway. Beautiful grounds and lots of parking. The lodge buildings were older and could use a more thorough cleaning, but overall it's the best value for the location. I feel the cottages are a way better deal (cleaner, brighter and just more new feeling). Also minor convenience that the fridges are off upon arrival. Had to plug in ourselves and wait for it to get cold.

The folks at CPL are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay overall. We stayed in the large suite, which was a comfortable size. Unfortunately, with the open windows to keep the room cool you can expect a 5:30 wake up call from the local crows. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable — if they would add memory foam or change them out, it would jump our rating to four or five stars!

This is our fourth visit to the Cambria Pines Lodge. We enjoy the grounds and walking in the gardens. The dinners are excellent and breakfast is always top-notch. We bring our Golden Retriever and love that the lodge accomodates pets. We also like staying in the suite pet-friendly rooms — nice and comfy. We will be back!

We attended a wedding at the Cambria Pines Lodge, and stayed for the weekend. We had a terrific stay! Our room was very comfortable. It was very convenient to walk to the dining room for breakfast. We loved the lounge, with the fun entertainment at night. The wedding was outstanding in the Garden; the food and the wine were great.

We enjoyed the entire stay at the lodge. Loved the room with the most comfortable bed we've ever had at a hotel. The location was perfect for us as we brought our small dog and we were right next to the walking trail. The dinners were excellent and buffet breakfast wonderful. The staff were all exceptional. Ending the evening at the bar enjoying the entertainment was fun. We plan to come back every year for a group vacation with our friends.

This is not our first rodeo here. Each time we love it. We find more things to do, we encounter new people who are also staying here. We love the breakfast, the dinner was to die for and the service was beyond excellent. Over the years I have stayed there in the Months of May, July September, and August and I am going to book the winter months next. We love Cambria and we love the Cambria Pines Lodge.

Very peaceful location, beds are comfy, great breakfast buffet and very good evening restaurant. Bar has good local talent most evenings. Very good staff on the desk.

We had an awesome dinner at the hotel's restaurant! The steaks were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Great service in the restaurant and at check-in. The room is clean and comfortable, with the exception of the bed which is not so comfortable. The property is older and is a bit lacking in some of the extras you'll find in newer properties, but is unique and charming — a one of a kind place. This is our second visit here and we'll be returning again in the future.

We reserved a room 3 months in advance, and when we got to the hotel we were told that another person was staying in the room that we had reserved and we would have to use another room. This, and many other things that have annoyed me seemed to come with the new manager of the place, who seems bent on making as much money as he can squeeze out of you. We have been coming here for twelve years, and unfortunately this will probably be our last time, because the service here has gone from great to horrible in the last 2 years, and we have discovered another place to stay, Cambria Shores Inn, which is nice, dog friendly, and has 5 star service.

We stayed January 1st through 3rd. The lodge was beautifully decorated for the Holidays. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. The Inn is dog friendly which was a big plus for us. They even had a large enclosed area where dogs could run and play fetch. I would recommend it for anyone visiting the area with their dog.

Oh my goodness! Cambria Pines Lodge anytime is wonderful, but during Christmas Market (Think Christmas Lights Gone Wild) is SPECTACULAR! really can't say enough about this fine resort. Great rooms and suites, first class dining on the grounds and set in one of the most beautiful small cities on the wooded coast of Central Coast California… Need I say more?

Fun place to stay in the heart of Cambria. Good breakfast buffet. Its a little outdated but still a nice place. Keep your eyes out for deals on travelzoo.

This place blew my mind for the price. I got a room for 55 GBP via hotels. Com which included free parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast. Bedrooms are very homely, and whilst basic really cosy and clean. We had a fireplace with a log you could light which was totally lovely experience whilst sleeping, and the beds were very comfy. Our food dining experience for dinner was super, do check out the salmon, and after that we headed to the free live band playing in the main bar, who where playing some classic tunes all could enjoy until 11pm. Receptionist who was originally from SF, was really kind and friendly on check in (if anyone from the hotel is reading this, please promote her as she was wonderful, the world needs more ppl like this! ). I would definitely come back here!

Stayed here on a romantic weekend with the wife. The place is a bit outdated but it's not bad. Breakfast was good but the food in the lounge was not good and a waste of money. Service was poor in the lounge as well. All and all, we had fun.

Wonderful rooms, great staff, delicious food (the BEST filet I have ever had, by far), and, during Christmas season, their Christmas lights are amazing to view, bringing the holiday spirit to life. I highly recommend Cambria Pines Lodge to everyone I know, although most have already stayed, time and time again, just as we have. We have already booked to stay again in the near future.

By far one of the most worst hotels I have stayed at in Cambria. The room was worn out and needed cleaning. Not just cleaning for a usual day use but take this room off line for a few days, replace the furniture (the old tired couch which is the first thing you see when you walk in and it smelled) and just, simply, vacuum the room. The shower was the worst! The water would go from extreme hot to ice cold. I have paid way less for way better. I was very embarrassed to have my family spend time in the room and over night. The fridge does not keep things cold and the thermometer does not register, these are very simple things needed for a basic nights stay. The food served from the restaurant was poor. The salad was warm, the drinks were weak and food was bland. This has not been the first time I have stayed at this hotel and not the first time I have stayed in town. By far one of the poorest shows of hospitality I have experienced in my life.

We stayed for two night this week. Nice set up mini village with beautiful garden and good pool facilities. Rooms are decent but little outdated, Wi-Fi is stable and having breakfast outside in the garden is a bonus. We had diner one evening and this was highly overpriced for the quality and the service. Breakfast was OK but very crowded and we have seen friendlier staff.

Awesome getaway. Casual, good food and service and great selection of wine. Nice drive to a ton of wineries. Great value for a fun weekend.

We had our wedding here in July, 2014. It was perfect! The event staff was so helpful and easy to work with and they were totally up front with the cost of everything. As the bride I was happy because there was so little I had to do because Cambria Pines Lodge provided almost everything. Also, our guests all got to know each other over the weekend because everyone enjoyed the complementary breakfast together and then would run into to one another throughout the weekend at the pool or the bar or walking in the lovely gardens. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we plan on coming back soon. Thank you so much Cambria Pines Lodge for giving us such a fun and special wedding.

It was beautiful, quiet, and at this time of year peaceful deer roamed around grazing on grasses behind our cabin. It was the perfect getaway location with free Wi-Fi :).

Nice rooms, friendly staff, live music& a a good 257 stairs walk down to the little town. Overall it was pretty nice here.

Great atmospheric, great location, easy to get to from 1. Live music in the lounge was surprisingly good. Good beer and wine selection. Breakfast was included, buffet style and good, not great. Gardens and walkways between buildings were nice. Only complaint was the floors and walls are very thin and impossible to sleep when the people above you are walking around. If you can get a second floor room it might not be a problem.

Cambria Pines Lodge is a great place to stay. It's in a wooded area and features a walk-through garden, so the atmosphere is pretty cozy and romantic. The room we had didn't seem very "lodge-y" though; it was more like a standard hotel room in a fairly old building. Still, it was clean and well-maintained with a nice fireplace, bathroom, et cetera. During our visit, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is inviting, and the food there is quite tasty (if a bit pricey). The hot breakfast is another highlight with eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy! I got a deal for our visit and can't speak to the value of regular price, but we were quite pleased and would be happy to stay again.

Cambria Pines Lodge is an extremely overpriced and rundown motel. My room was supposed to be one of the nicer rooms with a fireplace and a forest view, but the fireplace only had one duraflame log (you had to buy extras) and the the window was so dirty we couldn't see through it. The walls are so thin you can hear everyone in the surrounding rooms. One of the nights there they actually parked a tour bus right outside our room, which proceeded to wake us up when it started honking and revving it's engine early in the morning. Needless to say it was not the cozy relaxing place I was hoping for. It should also be noted that the bathroom windows don't close because they don't have a vent in there. The hair dryers must be 40 years old and look like they could start a fire. The carpet felt sticky and the bath towels had stains on them. This place is a complete ripoff.

Great location and incredible Gardens. Service is average and the food bearable. The Managements decision to ask for a $100 deposit just after saying "Greetings" seemed to be a strange approach to confront every patron with while checking in. Charging my credit card and not returning the deposit for a week was a surprise. The explanation for the charge was in case I damaged the room! Truly most of the damage in the room would have gone unnoticed. However not wanting to get blamed for the condition of the room I started finding and documenting the problems and there were many. Just a little marketing revue would have made my experience a 4star review. Randy.
