We stayed at Harbor Court last week and had a wonderful experience. I ways get nervous going into hotels with our 3 kids, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very cozy, comfy, and beautifully decorated, the view is breathtaking and the location is excellent.

Great and trendy location, awesome service.

Don't like the price for valet $60+ but other than that nice place to stay very clean room … nice location.

Where to begin. $60+ for parking. The room is the size of my walk-in closet. Tried to order room service. Apparently the menu I have is “not correct”. Front desk has no idea what I am talking about. Actually I should be thankful. I was going to spend $40 for dinner but ended up ordering take out next door for $20.

Beautiful hotel a lot of character in it's architecture and a great location, right on the embarrassed with views of the Bay Bridge. Great customer service from Mandy who was so thoughtful. She gave us an upgrade in our room and a bottle of wine when we told her we were celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary.

Great little boutique hotel with great rooms and friendly staff. All ways very helpful.

Rooms are on the small side, but they are more than adequate. There is also a free wine happy hour from 5-6 every nice which is a really nice perk. Rooms are clean, and are nicely furnished making the overall experience very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. If you book in advance you can also find really good deals. Valet parking only, and it is $60 per night. Access to gym next door is included (with ammenity fee…).

Great coffee. Some of the front desk people have an attitude. Room not as clean as I expected… especially for the cost. They charge you for internet but don't tell you. Great location.

The room was clean. It had a good view of the Bay Bridge. It took me a while to figure out how to turn on the lights (there are little switches on the stems of the lamps). Once I figured that out, the lighting was very elegant, bouncing off several large mirrors. The blackout curtains were great. The temperature control was both quiet and effective. I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Not bad for the price. The style is modern and nicely updated. Rooms are very small, but perfect for business travel. However, my bathroom wasn't completely clean (spots on the mirror and shower tile and shower door). And my bed didn't have a fitted sheet. It just had a flat sheet wrapped under the mattress. Neither of those are deal breakers, though. I'd stay again.

Love this place. It’s right on the water so half the rooms have an amazing view too. The rooms aren’t large (well mine wasn’t) but don’t feel cramped either. Enough space for two, but if you have a lot of luggage you may feel cramped. Suited me just fine though. Nice decor with a sea theme (rope towel hangers, etc). The staff were super friendly and helpful. They have an evening wine tasting, bikes to borrow and other fun perks. The coffee shop that doubles as a front desk is a bit odd but nothing wrong with it.

I absolutely loved my stay here. From Pennsylvania and had a blast. The best part was coming back to the hotel to get greeted by a girl named Mandy. She was so great to gives and my friend ideas on where to go have breakfast, which was amazing. I wanted to thank her but she was gone by the time we were leaving. Great employee, great room, and great service. Thanks so much!

We stayed at the Harbor Court Hotel over a sightseeing weekend and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very conveniently located to points of interest including the ferry building and east access to the BART and various bus and tram lines. We were upgraded to the queen room, which is good because I don't consider a smaller bed very comfortable for two people. The room was small but comfortable and very modern. There were no places to sit other than the bed, but that wasn't a problem because we spent our time exploring. Front desk was attentive and quick, and they had complementary wine in the early evening which was nice. No contenental breakfast, though they did have a small Cafe with some food and coffee options. Overall, very pleasant experience in a modern and conveniently located hotel, would recommend!

Lovely modern/clean hotel in a great location with friendly staff and wine hour! We used the gym next door too which was good and made use of their free bikes. Watch out though if you're not from the US though you may be surprised by the 'resort fee' of $26 per night to cover stuff which SHOULD be included in the price!

Met some colleagues for drinks before heading out for dinner. It was a great conversation area with comfortable seating. No complaints. And the neighborhood outside was vibrant. It was a good time.

The staff is fantastic, they try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is nice and modern, and the rooms are pretty nice — I do love the decoration, but the in room dining was not available, there was no coffee maker in the room and my view is of other windows. I would definitely stay here again though, it's super close to my work and the transit I need.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Such a nice hotel. The room was recently remodeled. We both enjoyed the style of the room. Complimentary wine hour, bicycles and coffee and tea in the morning. Very good value for the money. Definitely will stay here again!

The hotel is very good not to have a view of some rooms and the rooms are very small but this all you need each room has its safety deposit box there are connections everywhere and even USB the service is bilingual.

I've stayed here a few times. Staff is great, the rooms are hit and miss. If you get a water view room, they are quite lovely. If you get an inner room, they are much smaller and cramped. I had a room once where I couldn't hang a dress shirt and no desk (if you need to work. ) Another that was spacious. As of 3/18, they are still going through an unadvertised remodel.

A nicely renovated building, while it was small, my room with queen bed was very modern and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and actually cared about my needs. Was great value also compared to other choices nearby. I picked the "share keys" package; they magically parked my car for me too overnight.

The room is very comfortable, a nice place with a lot of peace and good vibes. There are air conditioner. The food is great and the hotel is not too expensive.

The hotel is very modern, the rooms are a little small but nice and the hotel is located close to the embarcadero, perfect even without a car.

Really disappointed. Under construction, small, non-flexible service. Room was so small, unlike what you see on the web so that better to see it before you really check-in. Otherwise they DO NOT refund even just walked in. We ended cancel and pay for nothing for not staying with hotel. I will definitely DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Maybe I just got bad luck but this is what happened. And hopefully this won’t happen to anybody else since the hotel selection is very important for good trip.

Amazing hotel, simply amazing. We got a great rate, and were worried a bit when we saw the renovations being done, but everything was amazing. We got a great room, with a breath-taking view of the harbor. The service was amazing and had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Location is very good, I personally didn't get aroom with a view however the proximity to the harbor made up for it. Service was ok, not bad at all but not outstanding. One important comment is that they renovate at the moment, which influences the whole experience (dust, mass, construction lifts…) I'd recommend to ask them about the renovation status in advance.

Nice hotel with decent sized rooms and a great location near Bay Bridge. They have a nice YMCA next door that gests can access with daily passes. Right now they are undergoing renovations on the lobby.

Rooms are small but comfortable. The access to the YMCA is amazing (pool, bikes, etc). And it's a great location by the water and a sorry walk to Union SQ.

Check in was smooth and without issue. Hotel is pet friendly and had a nice wine happy hour set up for guests. Rooms are very small however.

Good place to watch NYE fireworks, otherwise smaller rooms. King bed was comfy. Watch out for extra charges for amenities.

I recently booked two rooms for my beloved in-laws. My mother in-law is ill and required specific accommodations. I spoke with multiple representitives of Harbor Court. They went above and beyond to assist me. John, in particular, was sympathetic and helpful. My family received excellent service and were very satisfied with their stay. I encourage anyone seeking special treatment to stay at Harbor Court. My deepest gratitude to all who took such superior care of my loved ones!

Harbor Court is a smaller hotel, with plenty of life. All the staff that we dealt with were phenomenal and the crowd during wine hour was a pleasure. We'll definitely be looking here again when we stay in the city again.

Location is great and guests checking in were even given glasses of wine! Amenities are lacking, although there is a YMCA next door that guests can be given access to. Hotel parking is also pricey. Lobby doesn't have a restroom to use either which was a little inconvenient.

Probably all this is circumstantial, but I didn't enjoy my stay here. We arrive before the check in time, but I couldn't enter my room until 3:45pm. No room available. Then I got probably the darkest room in the hotel. Almost no natural light. A small fridge is placed next to the head of the bed, I had to turn it off in the middle of the night because of the annoying noise. The third night I had noisy neighbors, probably a group of friends ready to party. Noise was gone after 11:30pm. Man, those cards to get into the room and the elevator, hard to use. Got it several times wrong in the elevator. Service is nice and friendly, rooms are clean. Place is convenient, but next time visiting I will probably choose other place to stay.

Staff very friendly room very clean the only downside is the size of this Cocktail room offered almost every night in the lobby rather easy access and great location to visit San Francisco to recommend for your accommodation when Your visit to San Francisco.

As a hotel, it's more than nice. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and there's wine everyday from 5-6p, plus coffee in the morning. As a "resort, " however, I'm not so sure of if it's merits, and yet they charge a "resort" fee for amenities that any (less pricey) hotel would provide (Wi-Fi is listed as one of the "perks"). Otherwise the stay itself was fine, unremarkable really. For the price, I'd probably go elsewhere.

My room was tiny, but clean. And the location was convenient for me. The price seemed high but was actually a good value for the city.

My stay at Harbor Court was great. The room was simply decorated and comfortable. I had a great view of the bridge. Check in was easy. The staff friendly and helpful.

When I booked, this looked like a great, right on the bay spot, with views of the bridge. We have a tiny, cramped room with a king size bed and a window view of a wall. No coffee in the room. The Wi-Fi connection doesn't work. The bathroom is tiny and non functional. The window unit a/c is loud and noisy. No closet nor dresser drawers. Bedside lamp doesn't work. Extremely overpriced tiny box. Front desk service is not accommodating. We will never do this again!

Location is perfect for anyone who wants to be within walking distance to breathtaking views and Ghirardelli square. Service was great and even though my room was small it was perfect for what I needed. Definitely not a luxurious property, but clean, comfortable and location, location, location!

I stayed at the Harbor Court hotel for a few nights, and it was one of the better hotels I've stayed at in the San Francisco area. It's right off the embarcadero and from the outside, has an amazing view of the Bay bridge. My room was roomy for a hotel in a downtown area. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but I had a little trouble getting my room to the optimal temperature. The hotel does not have any workout facilities on site, however they did have an agreement with the YMCA next door which in some ways is better. There are several upscale restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The hotel was nice and clean. The room was small but that was expected in San Francisco. I wish they would have had the typical items for purchase that most hotels carry because all of the nearby stores close early in the financial district. I also didn't like how there was a $22 resort fee for services we didn't even use.

When hubby and I arrived on Friday they greet us with a glass of wine the staffs were nice our room on 7 floor was amazing we got ocean front view we had an amazing time at harbor court hotel when we woke up on Saturday morning we had a beautiful view of the bay bridge! The bed and room super clean we are going back again I gave this hotel a *5*!

Staying at Harbor Court was a great experience. The staff water very helpful and accommodating. The room itself was very clean and a had a nice view of the pier. The bathroom was very nice, with ample amounts of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The best part is the location. We were all to do so much in one day because it was right next to the ferry building and Bart.

My partner & I got the basic one bed room. It was very small but we did not plan on spending very much time in there. The staff was very friendly. The lobby & interior were clean & well taken care of. I appreciated the option of soy milk with the complimentary morning coffee. You are able to enter/exit front & back of the hotel. When you walk right out of the back of the hotel you see the Bay Bridge. The location was amazing, the bay bridge, Pier 39 and China Town were all within walking distance. When I come back to San Francisco I definitely plan on staying here again.

Stayed there for my husbands Christmas party. We arrived early and checked in, room was very small with no view. I called down to front desk and asked to be upgraded to a room with a view and larger bed. They totally hooked us up with a king bed and view of the bay bridge. Loved it!

The hotel is very well located with great views. Sadly it is a bit marred by the scaffolding, but still a great view. While the room is pretty small, it is well furnished, clean, and has everything that is needed. The staff is helpful and friendly. The pricing is steep, but given to location and the short notice it is appropriate.

Great location next to Ferry Building and Market St, the rooms are small, just enough room to deal around the bed. Bathrooms are of a good size, parking is valet and expensive. Staff were friendly and courteous.

First time staying, helpful staff and great location. Price a bit higher for non chain hotel in SF, but probably because of location, great view of bay bridge and right next to ferry building. Only one elevator operating during stay, had to wait around higher traffic times.

WAY OVERPRICED musty bed linen smelly bathroom nasty carpet small room for the price. Staff was OK until the ginger at the front desk pretended to call us a cab by picking up the phone saying NOTHING hangs phone back up when we checked out. This after we spent over $800 for two nights at this place!

Great hotel but small rooms which is typical for hotels of this era. Staff was super friendly and they have daily wine tasting and cookies before bed. Close to the embarcadero, bay bridge and Exploratorium. Restaurant choices in the area were limited so you might have to travel a bit if you're staying for an extended period.

Room was too small for comfort, had no tub, and there was a desk but it was wedged behind a post leaving no room for a person to sit at it. Their included Wi-Fi is slow and they charge a lot for decent speeds. The elevators made constant noise which made falling asleep difficult. The only things I liked about this hotel were the comfortable bed and the location.

Very nice lobby with gas fireplace. Free coffe and tea in the morning, cookies and milk in the evening. Comfy bed. Might get 5 stars after renovation. There is a sample hallway and room on one of the floors.

Harbor Court Hotel is the most over-priced and underwhelming hotel I have ever stayed in! Horrible service and poor amenities. HUGELY disappointing and outrageously priced. The lobby is tiny (not even toilets downstairs — you either have to go up to your room or trek through an adjoining restaurant) ; staff are cold and rude and the location by no means justifies the extortionate price tag. There are far nicer hotels along the coast, at much more reasonable prices. There is no breakfast/hotel restaurant and the rooms are MINUSCULE and noisy (AC units are loud and the views are underwhelming). The online description of this hotel is extremely deceiving and downright dishonest. The "gym facilities" mentioned in the hotel's online description are incorrect. The hotel will sell you a pass to the YMCA gym across the road for $10! There hotel amenities are terrible and the staff are even worse — extremely rude, cold and unaccommodating. Save your money and stay as far away from this hotel as possible!

Don't expect a view our much space in most rooms. Seems kind of pricey. Otherwise nice and well located right by the Bay Bridge.

Pros: close to touristy spots (if you're into that), friendly staff. Cons: tiny, basic rooms. The first room they gave me had a major leak and the toilet was spewing water onto the bathroom floor. They moved me to another room. Both rooms were on the 4th floor and literally had views of a rooftop, ductwork, and a building —you couldn't even see the sky or tell what time it was. Not worth it.

Never ever hated so much the room I've got. It is small, dark and with only one small window facing the ugly wall. Do you want to hear the price I've paid for this room?! $390! So ridiculous! And they didn't even let me cancel it. Because if you didn't cancel 40 hours before, you'll be charged the full price. Isn't it an extremely horrible customer service? If you come to the restaurant and you hate the dish you can always send it back, so what's the problem with the Hotel? I hate the room and they won't giving me my money back, so I can go to the different hotel. BTW there is no photos of this kind of rooms on the website. I guess that if you are selling that kind of room for almost $400 a night, you should at least give the honest description of what the person will get for that price! I'll better would stay in the cheaper hotel but with a normal window.

There is nothing better than to stay in a Kimpton Hotel. The best staff & service, hands down. Everyone is so friendly & you will always be greeted with a smile. Wherever I travel that there is a Kimpton, rest assured I will be staying there!

It boggles my mind that some New Yorkers have never been inside this stunning structure. This is probably my all-time favorite place to escape the noisy crowds when I'm unfortunate enough to find myself in Midtown. It's also among the first must-sees I mention to out-of-townees. It's in such a central location that it's a crime to just pass by. The incredible architecture is worth the trip alone, but visitors will also find rotating art, history, etc. Exhibits that are generally pretty interesting. Oh, and there's free Wi-Fi. As if you need another reason to duck inside.

Conveniently located, but nothing special in terms of comfort or decor. However, the great thing is that room service is provided by Ozumo, an excellent Japanese restaurant next door.
