My sisters and I enjoyed our comfortable and luxurious room with world class views. The staff was gracious and helpful. What a great place to enjoy San Francisco!

The attention to detail at this hidden hotel is wonderful. From the friendly doormen to the outstandingly helpful concierges… it’s a true 5 star. We were always greeted by name which was impressive and a warm touch.
The rooms are comfortable and drenched in natural light. You can drive all over the city but you’ll never find a better view than right in your own room. That’s what we eventually discovered.
They have drivers available for whatever you’d like to do which is $95 / hour. I highly recommend using that service; It was the highlight of our trip.
The skybar was way too cold and windy to be enjoyed, but it’s a cool feature. Better to go to the 44th floor and walk across the sky bridge.
I highly recommend getting a bridge to bridge room for the full effect.
I loved that this hotel always felt very warm without losing its prestige. My husband and I would definitely consider returning.

Greeted with a glass of champagne and whisked to our bridge to bridge room which views were flat amazing! I could have stayed in that room for days. The staff’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness were incomparable. Great way to spend our 10 year anniversary! Thank you Loews!

Was the Mandarin Oriental before. The new Sky Deck here on the 40th Floor has an AMAZING panorama view of that side of the city.

Impeccable views of the city. Service was exemplary. When we got our rental back there was a postcard explaining the history behind the dahlia flower being the choice flower for San Francisco accompanied by Zenia seeds. Cant forget the two bottles of water for our drive up to Napa. Very nice touch. This place was beyond amazing. I would definitely stay here again. We had views of the Golden Gate Bridge on the left and the Bay Bridge on the right. What a treat!

Great hotel overall, enjoyed our stay, the service was great and the views are incredible. We did have an unfortunate experience relating to the cheesecake… we ordered two portions of the cheesecake from room service one evening to satisfy a late-night craving. Unfortunately the cheesecake was a real disappointment… please remove the cheesecake from your menu or change your supplier!

Absolutely loved this place! From the incredible views, to the impeccable service, I couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful experience. I stayed on the 48th (top) floor and had a city/ bay view suite… but whether you were at the top enjoying a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, a city view, or just walking in and being greeted with a glass of champagne, their attention to detail and outstanding customer service really sets the bar, in my opinion. Best experience-thank you for an amazing time. Keep up the great work!

It's under construction so it's a bit odd but I think they did an ok job at making it as convenient as possible. I was just visiting a guest there but the room was top notch.

Stellar service. We stayed here for one night. The views were absolutely incredible, room service was quick and friendly, and the stay was quiet. We had a king bed with bridge-to-bridge windows. It was jawdropping. I could have spent the whole night sitting and looking out the windows. What a treat!

Luxury all the way. A brilliant hotel in a brilliant city. The lobby could be a bit more opulent, but they certainly make up for it in the rooms and amenities like the spa.

Wow. I got a tip from a stranger on the bart that occasionally the Loews Regency sets up a rooftop bar. During some downtime I tried my luck and asked the concierge if they had it set up and if they'd let me up there despite me not being a guest of the hotel. To my surprise they were very kind and provided me directions and a key card to find it. The view was breathtaking! You can enjoy a drink while seeing the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, and the Bay Bridge all from one balcony. If I ever visit San Francisco again I will certainly try to repeat the experience.

Fantastic hotel, from the room to the amenities to the customer service. We booked one of the corner rooms at the upper floors and enjoyed sweeping views of downtown San Francisco and the Bay Area. The rooftop bar also has amazing views but drinks were limited and they close early at 7:00 pm. We took advantage of the complimentary car service for the short trip to our dinner reservation.

This is a fabulous place to stay. They treated us like royalty. Views are incredible. Rooms are lovely. We got stuck out on the far side of town on a Saturday night, and they arranged for a car to come get us. Service is impeccable. Sitting on the sky bridge at night is something wonderful. It doesn't get much better than this.

Everyone in the hotel was so helpful and kind. We were celebrating my father's 80th birthday with a family gathering, and the venue as well as location were perfect. Anton, in the lobby bar, made us wonderful cocktails and offered a warm environment. The Spirits in the Sky Bar was chilly, but made up for it with a spectacular view of the Golden Gate bridge. The experience was wonderful for me and my entire family, and I applauded the staff for their part in making an otherwise stressful event go smoothly.

I believe that this hotel used to be part of the Mandarin Oriental hotel chain. The accommodations are exquisite, roomy, clean, and quiet. The service is top notch. The hotel staff greet you in the hallways and everyone is concerned with your needs. I will return to this hotel every single time I am in San Francisco. Thanks for everything Loews!

Visiting San Francisco for the first time, celebrating mine & my girlfriends birthday. I'm honestly beyond pleased with the everything here at the Loews! From the location, customer service and friendly staff. Marcella went above & beyond to make sure we both had the most amazing vacation. I just wanted to recognize and thank her for making this an extra special stay!

Spent my honeymoon there and could. It have asked for better service from the staff, the rooms were immaculate, the views were breathtaking. My wife and I will definitely be going back for every anniversary… Thanks Loews for the hospitality… #

Love this hotel. Great great people. Friendly warm and comfortable. Best views in San Francisco. Only minor issues are, the light coloured carpets are getting a little stained and there's no lounge area to relax which would be nice and is a disappointing change from the MO days. Still, I'd stay again (when I've saved up…)

We stayed here for three nights while we explored beautiful San Francisco. From before we checked in the staff were helpful. The concierge team were happy to answer questions and organize Alcatraz tickets for us. The doorman raced across the street to rescue us and our luggage from where we were unceremoniously dumped by our shuttle driver and check in was a breeze. Our room on the 48th floor was breathtaking! Beautifully decorated, huge, and with unforgettable views. Everything was thought of at Loews, from complimentary water in the rooms, to chocolates with the turn down service, to bowls of complimentary fruit in the lobby. Everytime we left the hotel, we were offered more bottled water to take on our adventures and more often than not were addressed by name. We also sampled the room service menu, and the food was fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. If I could give more than a 5 star rating, Loews Regency San Francisco would deserve it!

Nice hotel, large rooms and very comfy beds. A small plus but the TV has an actual channel guide showing what's on which most hotel TV systems don't.

The staff was great, see you later everyone will remember your name. Scenery is great, as you can see from the beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge. The scenery here is so beautiful, and still more beautiful at night. Rooms are large, decorated very well, has all the amenities. Similarly, the room there will be a small things such as DVD. All the things you ask employees to have no problem, they were very helpful.

I've been coming here for 3+ years for drinks at the bar. David is amazing. He makes all kinds of custom concoctions, from tonics and syrups to bottled cocktails. The liquor selection is solid and David is extremely creative and versatile. Plus he's fun to talk to. Always a good night at the brasserie s&p.

Great view of the city and bridges. Really friendly staff. Pretty pricey though.

My first time here. A fantastic hotel. The highlight, from my perch on the 47th floor, was the view. Extraordinary — the Bay, Alcatraz and so forth. Stunning. The room was hugely comfortable and the bed as soft and cosy as any I have slept in. Aside from the view, two things stand out. First, this hotel is SMALL. It is in a huge skyscraper, but only occupies the top few floors of the towers. This makes the service intimate and personal. And no long hikes down corridors. Second, the service is excellent. After a couple of days the staff all knew my name. Nothing too much trouble. The concierge (s) — Michael, Gene and, I am sorry, I forget the lady's name — are superb. Knowledgeable and effective. Any negatives? No. I just wish I could afford to stay here more often.

For those that don't know, the Mandarin Oriental recently sold this property to the Loews Regency. It is meticulously designed and quite modern post its 2012 renovation. What more could you ask for in an urban hotel? Frankly, not much. I recently spent a Friday night at this hotel and was blown away. I'm no stranger to luxury and have stayed at many other 5+ star properties around the world. First and foremost, the bed is quite possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in — take note that I own a Four Seasons bed and linens in my home, so it is a high bar for me to write the prior accolade. Next up, the views. We were upgraded to a luxury room on the 45th floor. The views from every angle of the room were truly epic. From the bathroom tub, you could see the full bay bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower and more. Overall, this made the room truly breathtaking. The bathroom is a teeny bit dated, but not to worry. There is an awesome separate shower. The tub has amazing views. All in all, a great room to relax/pamper yourself. Finally, the service. From the moment we checked in, we were treated very well. We ordered room service on several occasions and it arrived in under 30 minutes. The food for dinner was good, but not off the charts. On the other hand, breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. All in all, this place is truly a giant step above the rest. If you're visiting SF and you want the best, this is it.

Wow! I mean. Wow! I was definitely impressed. I wanted to stay here a lot longer but we had to leave the next day. *sigh* The service was exceptional, everything from the room, lobby area, etc. Was so tasteful and creative from furniture to the walls and ceilings. I wasn't expecting to get a nice window view of the city, but I was wrong! Picked a good choice of a room and was surprised by the sweetest things that were done when I first walked into the room. Romantic? I would come back. Seriously come back for a weekend away from home and spend it with someone special or just with girlfriends for a weekend of shopping, cocktails, and fun.

My sister and I stayed here recently for a Spa Weekend and it was fabulous. We were pampered every day with facials, massages and treatments by their award winning spa. It was very relaxing! Every single detail in our stay was attended to with a beautiful attitude, which is hard to find in most hotels located in the downtown core of any city. Their impeccable service will set a new standard that other hotels will have a hard time emulating. The attention to small details add to the experience from the welcome tray of tea delivered to your room, to offering coffee along with your wake up call. Their staff creates a gracious welcome from beginning to end! The views on the 45th floor Bridge are unsurpassed from the Bay to the Financial District. We would recommend a stay here not just for business, but to relax and enjoy the city. Truly amazing.

Sure you could pay for a room at this exquisite hotel. If you are zuck. Or you could take the elevator to the suspended walkway and enjoy the views for free. Take a camera and be friendly to the doorman.

Like every other Mandarin Oriental I have ever stayed out, this is probably the best hotel in the city. Impeccable rooms, perfect service, and a great location. Walk any place in Downtown, lots of shopping and restaurants. Check out the high floors — — amazing views and with enough fog, you think you're in the middle of a cloud. Awesome.

The Mandarin Oriental is housed in the California building Center from the 11th floor. The peace and quiet and the excellent views of the city inspire from the outset. You should always book a room on the upper floors. Hotel Scout Gerd was lucky enough to get a suite on the 48th floor. Thus, San Francisco was him at your feet! Even from the bathtub, he could enjoy the panorama of the city. The Mandarin in San Francisco is decorated like all houses of this hotel chain in the Asian style. Elements of Feng Shui provide a special atmosphere. A visit to the hotel restaurant was planned silks with Californian Asian cuisine. Unfortunately, closed. But the MO bar, which is also a meeting place for many locals, could evaluate GERD. Great HotSpot in San Francisco, with piano music and an exquisite selection of drinks. This is a review of the bar — as per expectations the drinks here are super expensive and some of the cocktails are almost worth it and some are just plain bad. Service could definitely be more consistent as well. Good tapas though.
