Such a wonderful place to stay at, by far one of the best hotels that me and my partner have stayed at. Absolutely loved using the fitness center, great location, a quick walk to Chinatown and to the Bart. The bed was so comfortable and it was such an amazing stay and experience for us. Thank you again!

Simple and quite place. I was able to sleep well and enjoyed the free drinks and fresh fruits.

The customer service here is nonexistent. My car was broken into in the parking garage they give you a map to. Then they claim they aren't affiliated with it. Well you are when you have a stack of maps to it on your check in counter. Also the police told me this happens all the time. I spent a day of my time there getting a new window for the smashed one. The response from Liz the person at the counter when I called from the parking garage? "And? … " That says it all for their customer service. No one was helpful from the time I walked into this mess of a place. Rooms are also small and poorly designed. Don't try to be a "boutique" hotel if you don't have the design chops to pull it off. This was literally the worst hotel I have ever been in.

Great hotel in a great position! We took the suite which is a room with a little kitchen and a small living room at the entrance. The suite is great, it cost a few more dollars than the normal room but has a lot of space especially if you're with a kid like us. Everything is perfectly clean, Wi-Fi works great, there are 2 big screen TV, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There's a very useful table to use for eating or working. Kitchen is well equipped, it has a microwave oven but no cookers. There is a little gym in the hotel, not fully equipped but enough to make a nice workout. Service is great, has things delivered and they called me everytime to alert me things arrived. Would definitely come here again!

I JUST made a reservation and I put the dates wrong. Totally my fault. I called immediately, not even 5 minutes later, to change the dates and fix the problem. It turned out they didn’t have rooms available for the days I needed so I asked them about a refund, or even a partial refund for the two nights I booked, and they wouldn’t do it. The trip is 3 weeks away, it’s not a last minute cancelation. Yes, it was my mistake, but it was a human mistake that I tried to correct immediately. I don't think it is nice or fair to just not offer a solution. I basically just gave them money for free.

Efficient hotel in a great location. The Club Quarters will never be a luxury hotel chain but is a great hotel for the business traveler. Located in the Financial District close to Market Street, Chinatown, and the Embarcadero. The hotel itself is best described as cozy, from the club-style lobby to the guest rooms. I rather enjoy the amenities — free laundry, filtered water, lobby lounge, and fitness room. I'm here for work often and look forward to coming back every time.

There's great potential for this hotel to be even better and up in the ranks of the best of the best… The rooms are clean and well-appointed, I would say some things about the room could be better, the doors and frames look a little dated… I'm in construction and interior design so I have an eye for these things. The amenities here are great and the staff has been helpful.

I expected more from the hotel, also saw the price. Small room, compared to American standards, a little outdated. The coffee and water available in the lobby are appreciable. Beautiful view of the city from the roof of the hotel. The cleanliness leaves to be desired, for two days by the side of our room we were not picked up the leftovers from the room service dinner.

Nice hotel and nice staff, the area is pretty decent. The hotel in a great location for business people not much for tourists. Very trust hotel and safe location, couple airlines use it as a layover crew hotel.

Hotel is in great location by the downtown financial district. There are a few convenient stores and such around which also make this good spot. There is a daily happy hour in the lounge where there is free beer and wine and there is a fridge with sodas. Loved the room. It was clean and nice. Not the biggest in the world, but I was on business trip. Just showered and slept here. Hotel was also very affordable compared to all others around. Will repeat next time I'm in Bay area.

Very nice place to stay, and will be using again if traveling. Staff was on readily available and willing to help however they could. Rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. Also has a wonderful sitting area with snacks and drinks as well as newspapers and other tourist brochures to check out the city.

Nice place with a friendly staff. Small room but it is really nice. Parking is a few blocks away and its best to reserve it in advance.

Courtney was the person that greeted me at the desk. She had the biggest most inviting smile. She was professional, courteous, caring, and kind. She upgraded my room the night I stayed (2.6.18). Talk about going the extra mile! she is an asset to the Club Quarters Hotel and experience.

Great location. Very nice staff. Rooms are very small, but very clean. As you can see from my photo, absolutely no view, unless you enjoy looking at large pipe outside my window.

Nice staff, Liz hooked me up on my early check-in. Rooms are small, but adequate. Self serve water bottle fill up was very handy as it was unseasonably warm this trip. Location was fantastic for me.

Good location in the financial district with excellent value for money.

Would not be rating so high had we not upgraded our room. Standard rooms here are not recommended. But the corner suites are very nice. The staff are reasonable and friendly. There is some confusion in lobby with regards to using the check-in kiosks or talking to the front desk. But gotta love those free water bottles! Was not impressed with business center, most devices were not working and they never did during my three days at the hotel.

We've been away for three weeks. Hearing is like a cardboard wall. In all the time, never wiped the dust in the room. In the end, my husband and I had itchy skin from the bed linen.

Room was very clean and spacious. We got the suite upgrade for free after just a friendly chat with the hotel desk clerk. The views of the bridge at night from he balcony is amazing. I would definitely recommend this to any visitors if the city.

Convenient location. Check in/out very easy. Room very small. Not worth 4 stars. My room at 70x is about 180 sq ft. Regular bed is a TWIN size bed (why? )

The service from the hotel is what put this over the top. We checked in early and Liz waived the early check-in fee for us and upgraded our room to a suite for free without us even asking. The room itself was huge with sink, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, band small stove. The bed was sleepable and decent pillows (although I never leave home without my own pillow). It had its quirks though: sub-par blow dryer, short spray on the shower head, the TV kept glitching, and slow elevators. I was only really disappointed to find no safe in the room. Although the staff was so professional and kind I felt safe enough to leave my purse hidden in my room. Extra bonus: make your own snack area with all the yummy fixings for trail mix and free beverages. Overall the room was quiet, the staff was great, and we enjoyed our stay in San Francisco.

Excellent location, close to shops, restaurants and a quick Uber ride to the Ferry Building. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean, unlimited coffee, water bottles and fresh fruit too. There is even a gym and laundry facility (detergent is included). For the price, location, friendly staff and level of cleanliness, I give 5 stars.

Cozy accommodation between Chinatown and the business zone. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent lift with exclusive use via card room. Clean rooms although not modern. Good the bathroom, clean and similar to the European ones. We'il be back.

Small no frills hotel with lack of customer service, hospitality, and overall care. This is not the fault of the staff but the antiquated rooms are stark and less than clean. Bathrooms are similar to those of a cruise ship. Sheets were ripped upon arrival.

Check in and check out process are very seamless. The bed is very comfortable. There is included "breakfast" of coffee and fruit. Overall all around a good place to stay.

Decent place. Great customer service. Free bottled, filtered water available on each floor. Our standard room was a bit on the small side. Reminded me of a cruise ship type accommodation. Overall, not a bad place for a night in the city.

A simple and comfortable hotel very well located in the financial center of San Francisco.

Decent hotel, reflected in the price. Huge kudos for complimentary Wi-Fi and refreshments! Only thing to bear in mind is the late night, and early morning arrivals from flight crew. Been woken a few times from their movements. Value for money.

This hotel is modern and clean, with a few key exceptions. The check in is done through a lobby kiosk, which is fast but impersonal. There is free coffee, soda, and water in the lobby lounge. The room was clean but the bathroom had hair all over it and the shower is in desperate need of a makeover. The room is somewhat small, but well-organized. The bed is comfortable and the atmosphere is fairly quiet. Overall I agree with most of the reviews saying that a few things could use to be updated and the staff could be more friendly, but I would stay here again.

Love the check in/out process. Smoothest ever. Quiet and comfortable. Thoughtful to almost every detail. If they do hotels that good, I can't imagine how good the breakfast would be if they offered it… Hint hint. Great stay!

The staff is nice. They genuinely want to help you enjoy your stay. The room is modern and comfortable. My shower leaked quite a bit, due to an inherent design flaw. I would return.

We got a good price for a 3 day stay… it's very centrally located to most of the touristy spots and you can walk to most of them. The staff is very friendly and the service is top notch. We got a single room for 3 people with a sofa bed and you wouldn't believe how comfortable it was… it's a single sleeper and feels tiny when you first look at it, but it's perfect for 1 person… I loved that they have a water purifier with chilled water at every level with empty bottles… I wouldn't hesitate to stay at another CQ ever…

Location is nice. Rooms are nice but really small! Rooftop area is great! I'm there often but have yet to get a room with a good view. Coffee/espresso maker in lounge is really nice! There is comfy furniture and fireplace in lounge as well. Complimentary snacks, soda, water, espresso and coffee. Computers are nice too.

Good reception. Very small room, not very clean, dust around, smell not nice old carpet and not very clean. Noisy conditioner. Very old bathroom. Comfortable bed and clean sheets. Insufficient towels it was necessary to make request.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The elevators are incredibly slow, despite the small (11 floor) building size. The rooms are nice — very clean and modern, but pretty small. Mine had a microwave and a fridge in it, which are definitely nice to have. The view out of the window was just of the building across the street, which left something to be desired. Over all, I don't regret staying there, and they're clearly trying to be the best hotel that the facilities allow.

Had dinner with my inlaws in from China. It was busy at first but ended up being a pretty good experience. Server was very attentive.

The service experience was excellent, it is completely modernised in terms of check in and check out, it has several kiosks where through interface touch select the option, slide your credit card and choose if you want 1 or 2 keys, the same kiosk delivers you your keys and a ticket indicating your room number and your balance you do not really need assistance but there is always staff I would like to stress, is super friendly, I've stayed in many hotels in SF and the date they take first place in care.
The hotel is quite modern and everything is in excellent condition, has a couple of restaurants, a machine of ice, water and mineral in the basement and on each floor a cold water machine and half-liter plastic bottles to fill, the room is small but without exaggeration as other hotels, has the bed, a small armchair Desk with table for laptop, television, LED a small closet and a very spacious bathroom with shower, telephone and even a small bench inside, also has its own air-conditioning equipment and features heating if required.
The location is good but must take into account that it is the business area, truly all the shops close early and many not open on Sunday, is particularly quiet and is three blocks from the Pier 1 and 5 blocks from Market, and a 15-minute walk from Union Square, an important point is that unlike most of the hotels more Center or on Market, in this hotel there are no homeless outside.

Overall, it's been a nice stay. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to many places. Our room is fairly small but we aren't spending much time in the room so it works for us. The water pressure in the shower is great.

As a 4 star hotel I was expecting more. There is hardly a lobby and the parking is across the street in a cinema building. The bath was clogged and had to ask the hotel to get it fixed. On the plus side, it is in a great location. Got an upgrade to a suite for only $25 more per night.

Rooms are very small. They provide free Wi-Fi, and laundry. They have a nice bar and restaurant near the lobby. The sun deck on the 11th floor is pretty cool too. Amazing sea food. Overall, a pleasant experience but don't expect the most luxurious rooms.

I was there for an event concerning the gdc event. The party was fun and the hotel was very accommodating. The staff was very attentive and the drinks were amazing. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Adequate room (same as any Club Quarters I've been to) but even on the 6th floor there was a TON of street noise. To add to the "fun", protestors at Le Meridian across the street started chanting through a megaphone at 7am. That's an ongoing thing that's not within CQ's control, but it didn't make it ok. I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Room is a bit small however meets the purpose. Bathroom had an odd stench when I arrived, never really disappeared. Had to buy air freshener from the Safeway down the street. Minus the smell I feel it is a good Hotel in a great location.

My wife and I reserved the room via hotwire, but this place didn't disappoint us at all. The location is great and the room is quiet and clean. We had a wonderful week staying here.

Sterile, quiet, not extra-exciting, but provides what it has to. Wi-Fi was vastly improved recently. The staff is very professional. No breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes around, although most of them are closed on weekends.

Rooms are small which is to be expected in SF. The rooms were clean and competent but could use an update. Our room was really noisy. The bad part was the service we received. The staff sender to be intentionally unhelpful. This turned it from OK to bad for me.

Good location close to Ferry Building and union square with a short drive to the fishermans Wharf. Quiet and clean with friendly staff. It was reasonably priced and offers free Wi-Fi and mineral water.
