The 399fremont staff is amazing exspecially Alanna and Tee. The amenities in the building are amazing and we love living here! Events every Friday and Sunday morning make all the difference! Sunday breakfast is the highlight of my week.

Fantastic place. You cannot go wrong by choosing to live here. Great location, great staff, great amenities.

Tried to have a birthday party for my cousin at the common area on the 6th floor, but the front desk didn’t like us for some reason and threatened to charge us $150 per hour if we continued our party. People use it all the time for barbecues and parties and I don’t see anyone getting charged. This apartment has a good reputation for finding creative ways for getting “unwanted guests” out.

Overall, I am very happy living here. There have been very few elevator issues and the property is maintained very well. I’m having trouble understanding the negative reviews on here, so I felt the need to post a positive one. Will update toward the end of my lease in 6 months.

399 Fremont is probably the coolest apartment building in San Francisco. I have been here six months and the only issues are occasional parties that people throw at the pool on weekends. The staff are great and for the most part it has been pretty dreamy.

Lady at the front desk is super whack, extremely rude. Do not live here unless you have no other option.

I moved into 399 Fremont last September, thinking that I had found my dream apartment. Unfortunately, it’s been one nightmare after another. Shortly after move — in, for example, two of the three elevators that service the more than 40 floors in the building were taken out of service, leaving just one elevator to accommodate more than 440 units. At times, people would wait more than 30 minutes just to get into the elevator! It took approximately three weeks for the building to repair the elevators completely. There was very little communication to the residents through this difficult period. It was only after multiple requests of management that we finally received periodic updates on such a life-impacting issue. Traffic in San Francisco is already tough; but when you need to plan an extra 30 to 45 minutes just to leave your home in the morning, it’s an issue that deserves routine communication. Even now, one year after the building opened, the elevators are riddled with problems and frequently go out of service for days on end due to the need for certain special order parts. The response to the elevators is reflective of a system wide issue at this community. There simply aren't enough competent people on the team to manage a building of this size and complexity. For example, since, move-in I have had a persistent metallic, whining noise emanate from my ceiling.

Just moved in. Building is incredible, the views are unbeatable, and the entire team at 399 Fremont were so welcoming and helpful. Neighborhood is so clean with easy access to freeways and Muni.
