I cancelled two reservations within the required time frame. The clerk assured me both were cancelled. In reality they only cancelled one and charged me for the other night. I've stayed here many times but no more. Nothing but incompetent thieves.

I had extremely terrible service in the hotel. After telling two different waiters on 4 different occasions that I didn't need anything else they never brought the bill. When I wrote a review about it online, Oxana Stadnikova sent me an e-mail saying it was my fault and that it was busy! The place was 1/3 full, if that! That hotel is so poorly managed. They really prey on vacationers because if I was local or frequented there, I would never, ever go back. So bad. Stay far, far away. You can read what happened on my tripadvisor review.

Desk clerk Steven has always been professional and friendly.

Everyone was helpful and the rooms are very clean.

It's been a while since I stayed here (October of 2016) and it was under construction then. But it was pretty nice still. Always clean rooms and linens. Would stay here again! Front desk was a bit rude when we were trying to figure out where things were in the town. Loved the location! We all went out drinking at the hangar and other bars around town and it was convenient to be able to walk everywhere. The room we were in was facing the mountain behind the hotel. It was also called the Sunbelt hotel I believe when we stayed there.

Extremely comfortable hotel in winter in Juneau. I have been there in November and January. Front desk staff is great, rooms are fantastic on top floor, less so if closer to lobby. Might not be so great during summer months from what locals have told me.

The only place in Juneau I stay at. Reasonably priced, conveniently located, and clean. The staff is courteous and responsive as well. Rooms are well appointed and cozy. The fitness facility is very good for how compact it is and I find o can always complete whatever workout I am in need of doing. The whole hotel is recently renovated which is a major plus. The restaurant and pub in the lobby is a nice bonus but there aplenty of dining options located within walking distance.

Not my favorite hotel, but my best (and only) hotel experience in Juneau. Sheets were stained and there was rusty water dripping down the wall of the shower into the tub. The pull for the curtain fell off. In-room thermostats don't regulate the temperature so the front desk told me to use the plug-in fan and open the window. Also had to call the front desk twice before they brought me more toilet paper. It was survivable, but I expected more for >$200/night.

Good hotel. Nothing super special about it other than its location in downtown Juneau. Walking distance to most anything you could do. If you plan on spending time in Juneau you won't spend much time in this hotel. Nice having the security and comfort of a major chain in the great location. Amenities were fine, not great. Staff was super friendly. Bar/restaurant was mediocre. I recommend this place if you want to be close to downtown Juneau.

This place has been around for a while and under various managements. This is the first time I've stayed here under Sheraton name. I was very comfortable. No complaints. It's age shows here and there but clean and nice, and I don't expect any more.

They had decent food for a hotel. However the staff was very rude. They were almost empty and we were rushed the whole time we were there. Plus our waitresses was very condescending. There are much better restaurants in Juneau, go to one of them instead if you'd like to enjoy your meal.

McVineys is awesome. Great service and good beer selection. I felt welcome in the bar.

Great location. Rooms are nice with coffee machine, fridge & very comfortable beds. Beautiful view from my room in winter. Really nice employees too. Nice gym.

Overall the hotel is nice, but small fit and finish things we're off. The bathroom door doesn't close, there were hairs on the bed and in the bathroom, and the water was shut off without warning during the day. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Cable and Wi-Fi were provided and the hotels location is hard to beat. Overall not a bad stay.

Best option in Juneau. Nicely updated and pleasant staff. Rooms have heating issues, couldn't get the room to a good temp, too hot. The windows don't open enough and the hotel solution was to bring a fan :/

Terrible. Thought after the renovations things would get better. It took the idiot at the front desk 20 minutes to get me checked in. He was very rude. Then he put me I a room next to the elevators. Very noisy. The hotel was nearly empty ado there was no excuse. This is my last stay and my company's last stay here.

McGivney's Sports Bar downtown inside what is currently For Points by Sheraton offers pretty good food and drinks. They ran out of poutine. Their daily special, black cod was done right, not overcooked.

Room was nice and clean. Bed was great. 3 medical emergency alarms late at night. 2 the first night — 11:30 Pm and 12:30 am — these were due to a pipe being broken and resulting in no hot water or heat. Very poor communication with guests. Had to find out that management was sending us to a another hotel by another guest who didn’t even know how to get to the other hotel. We told the nighttime staff that since we life in Juneau that we would just go home for that night. The nighttime staff did not covey this to the morning staff. My husband called in the morning to see what the status was and we were told that the heat was still not on and had asked for a phone number to be reached at. They said they would probably have an update at noon and would call us. We did not receive a call. We had told the morning staff that we had stayed at home and that we were not at the other hotel. The morning staff did not update the afternoon staff so when we called back in the afternoon we were the mystery people for our room. So there was no communication between the different staf with no notes no nothing. On the second night there was a second alarm 2:30 AM with no explanation why this alarm went off. This is why this hotel is getting three stars instead of the 4 or 5 stars we might have given it.

Great food, lot's of screens for games, unusual (buffalo cheese curds, poutine) and tasty choices. They need to fix their taps so they can offer more choices of beer.

The Four Points in Juneau is a fantastic hotel. It's within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants and it has great water views off one side of the building. Some of the hotel is new and renovated, and while the rooms still show age in some parts, they're cozy and warm. The beds are fantastic.

I was bitten by some kind of bugs that the management assured wasn't bed bugs. The continuous bites made it incredibly difficult to sleep. I showed them the bite marks and they told me it was because I had the window open which I did not my entire stay. It is however conveniently located which stinks because I'm not staying there again when I travel for work.

The Four Points is a good choice for hotels in Juneau. I liked that it isn't smack dab in downtown Juneau but close enough that you can walk to everything. The room was spacious and had everything that I needed for my trip (business). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I had the mountainside view. It probably wasn't as good as the seaside view but the view was still nice.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. That's all the good I can say. There are no brochures or any info on local things to see or places to eat, no TV guide or indication of which channels are available, and no phone guide. I asked for a microwave and didn't get one until 6 hours after my request. Then there was no place to put it so I pulled the luggage rack out of the closet. However, the cord wouldn't reach so I requested an extension cord. 2 days later I got back to my room late and the cord wouldn't fit the microwave because it was for 2 prong only. When I explained that to the front desk, they said it was too late to get the right cord because it has locked in an outside shed. The lady at the front desk suggested I set it on the floor under the table so I could plug it in! I'm 55 years old and have bad knees, but in order to use the microwave I had to crawl under the table. I was there for 6 nights and this situation was never resolved. The customer service at this hotel is terrible! I quit trying to get ahold of the front desk with the room phone because they seldom answered, so I used my cell. I was in town on business and will definitely tell my company to never book here again!

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is. I hadn't been inside for the seven years I worked in Juneau. It was purchased by Sheraton and looks amazing from the outside. The inside is very nice as well.

The room was neat and clean. Our bathroom toilet stoped flushing, but the maintenance supervisor was there and made repairs within 45 minutes. It was a holiday and Norvell (not sure of spelling) was amazing. My 10 year-old grandson is inquisitive an Norvell was patient and took the time to really explain what he was doing and why. I know my grandson he will never forget this. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown if you are visiting Juneau. You can book for tours in the lobby. They have a complete resturants within the hotel. It's a sports bar, however, the food was excellent, they served fresh seafood and our server that evening was great!

Good hotel to stay in Juneau. Its close to good local restaurants and other popular hiking trails. The rooms are clean and well maintained. However, I do not recommend using their Concierge service (Keli's Concierge and tours). I used it for booking a glacier and whale watching tour. They overcharged me in the name of convenience, credit card usage and other fees, though claimed otherwise. The agency conducting the glacier tour is just opposite to the hotel. Walk few steps, book directly at tour agency counter and save $$.

Rooms are fine, some nicer than others. Gym was closed during our stay. We'd booked 2 rooms next to each other for kids and parents and when we checked in the closest we could get was 1 floor apart. Great location downtown, walkable to restaurants and shops.

The hotel has obviously recently undergone renovation inside and is simple and lovely and conveniently located downtown within walking distance of pretty much all of town. A nice crisp white bathroom and comfortable beds along with thick duvets are in each spacious room. In the evening, I was thinking the thick duvet may be too thick but I could crack the window open and let that crisp fresh air into the room (better than any air conditioning imaginable). The Internet is fast and complimentary and there is a lovely Keurig in the room to jump start those brisk mornings. The expansive windows frame up either the water and piers or the mountains; either way you cannot go wrong! There is also a convenient sports bar/restaurant off the lobby for food and drink and I was told by a shop manager in town to try the pizza. All these facts alone would make me chose this hotel again along with their fair pricing for the size and quality of rooms. However, I booked for one night as I was traveling to join a cruise ship to work as a contractor but in the early morning I woke up to my window overlooking the cruise docks to find that my ship was not there in the misty docks… A friend working on the ship said that the cruise line changed the itinerary and they were docking 1 day later! So, I called the reception desk and talked to Shannon and he said that the most recent calendar verified the change of itinerary and he started getting a reservation together.

Great customer service, the people at the front desk were extremely helpful in finding activities and places to go. Only complaint would be the lack of a fan in the bathroom.

I've only stayed one night so far but the staff has really impressed. My only wish is that the construction going on wasn't so apparent. Guess I'll just have to come back when it's done.

McGivneys. Best place in Juneau to get food or drink. The service is great, the menu has a good selection and the food has never disappointed me. This is the one place I never have to add the qualifier "for Juneau" when I talk about how good it is.

I don't want to review this. Give me my money.

Mcgivneys Downtown is what Juneau needed. A modern, hip place to chill with friends, eat good food, and watch your favorite sports.

It was impersonal and the service was pushy. I felt obligated to finish my drink quickly and get out! We didn't feel welcome at all so the group I was with (including myself) left without finishing our drinks.

The new McGivneys was amazing!

Pretty comfortable place, although has a bit of an older feel to it.

Hotel sold. Please note the Goldbelt Hotel was sold in July and much of the on-line info is no longer correct. It is not owned by a Native corporation. At this time of renovation, there is no more airport shuttle, no meeting space, the restaurant is closed for remodeling, and there's no Alaska Native art. The name will be changing to Four Points by Sheraton sometime this winter. You may look forward to an updated property by the end of the year.

The location is great, bed is comfortable, view (facing the channel) was great. It took about 40 minutes to get a ride from the airport by the hotel shuttle. Housekeeping ran out of washcloths, and we had to go to the front desk to beg for them. We were here a week and one day someone let herself in our room while I was in the shower. She walked in and said, "Hello". And I said, "I'm in here. " She left the room. I called the front desk after getting out of the shower & explained what happened, asking if they knew who it could have been. The attendant very unapologetically told me that there were lots of people doing maintenance and repairs, and she had no idea because a lot of people have access to my room. She offered to rekey the room, but I explained it was not comforting to know that lots of people have access to my room. I would not recommend this hotel and won't be staying here in the future.

For what you get here, not even close to worth the price. Stay at super 8 for better service and more modern rooms. Upon checkin I had several large bags and asked for some help. The desk clerk pointed at the cart and said "I guess you can use that. " and resumed browsing the internet. I requested a late checkout and was told "Sorry the maids want to go home early, you can checkout now. " My room had an exercise bike from the 70s in it instead of there being any actual facilities. You won't get bedbugs here but for $150 a night you should get better treatment.

Stayed here for 4 nights July 26 to July 30. No problems with the room — very clean. Bed was comfortable. The pillows could have been a bit better but we survived. We were on the second floor at the back and it was very quiet.
