Bed bug alert! Hotel is walking distance to the airport, literally right across from the airport. Very accessible, appearing clean and affordable. That's the upside. The downside is that I found a bed bug on the pillow and I had to change my room. The people at the front desk were polite and apologized and changed my the room immediately. A refund would've been nice. It was too late to change hotels since I was only here for one night and it was almost midnight. Would have been a good experience otherwise.

It's a pretty decent hotel for the money. Some things feel cheap, but all in all the rooms are nice. You get a fridge, stove, microwave, and all the normal amenities. The staff are very polite and I was able to check in significantly earlier than my check in time. They have a free shuttle from the ferry terminal, or to the airport. You shouldn't need it to get to the airport though, since it is right across the street.

Unfortunately there are a lot of dead cars in the parking lot and it could be cleaned up a little better. Why do people smoke right outside the front door? I really enjoyed all the times I've been there and David Fabiyi is so great and kind. I miss the manager who had passed away and I am not impressed with their new manager. It's kinda loud in the walls and the beds were ok. Just wish the smokers can go elsewhere. It comes into the windows and stinks! David is an awesome assistant manager and should be the one managing that place. He's thorough. Can't speak enough about him!

Terrible customer service. We had a room reserved for us and they gave it to someone else. They did offer us another room that would not fit our needs and it smelled horrible. Would not recommend this hotel.

Nice clean and comfy room. Great location right across from the airport, and the staff was very accommodating and the GM Johnie was awesome and made sure I got to my appointments on time. The front desk lady Kerry was a delight also. I will stay here every time I come to town. Thanks Johnie!

Room was clean and quiet. Heat came up quickly and was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked in the room. Staff was helpful when needed. Brief but pleasant stay.

The staff was excellent, polite and helpful. There are smoking and nonsmoking rooms, for no smokers be prepared for the room to smell like stale cigarette smoke. The room was fine however the bathroom stunk like cigarette smoke. Also, breakfast isn’t breakfast, they provide instant oatmeal, and 1/2 size granola bars. The coffee was fine. There should be fresh fruit and maybe yogurt provided as well. Needless to say, for some additional money I’ll stay someplace else next trip.

No complaints, close to airport, clean, quiet room. Didn't use pool or grab and go breakfast but looked reasonable. Good value for Juneau.

We stayed one night, two queens, with a mini kitchen. Now oven, but stove top and microwave. We didn't utilize all the amenities, but there is a pool. Breakfast was mediocre, with coffee and a few mini packaged muffins and nature valley bars. The most important thing however was the freezer out back for us to store our fish boxes. Rather a nice venue, very clean.

Super staff, very fiendly Walking distance from airport is a plus, they also have a shuttle Pet friendly Clean Indoor pool.

Comfortable rooms, good service, and a convenient location. The road outside is fairly quiet, which is nice at night.

I went to visit a friends Mom, and we celebrated the friends birthday. The rooms were really nice, and also very clean. It was really helpful that the room she was in had a stove top so we could cook food for the birthday. The staff was also really friendly!

This was an excellent place to stay especially if your fly out the next day because the airport is literally across the parking lot. Check outs aren't until noon, so that's awesome. You got all the ammenties. Customer service was great. Coffee on 24/7. Good choice.

Everything was ok. Things were worn town and some stains on things. The only real problem was the cleanliness of the tub:/

Rooms were nice and clean. Sink would clog up easily just with water itself. At night, other guests would be noisy throughout the night. It wasn't too loud; however, it was enough to keep me up. Other than that great service. Kind people.

Clean, modern rooms with kitchenette. Quiet with good thermostat control. Friendly staff. Grab and go breakfast of fruit and granola bars — not a full continental breakfast.

I've stayed here in the past and had better experiences. The room was clean, but it was a hot day and the AC unit did not work.

Friendly staff, close to airport, pretty clean. You can check out all sorts of kitchen gear at the kitchen, which is super handy. Would stay here again.

Great staff that know the area and gave good advise. The room was outstanding clean, everything worked and Windows had good curtains to block out the sun at 1040pm. This place Is worth the extra $15-20 a night.

Clean and sufficient hotel council be better but for the money great deal.

Surprising in its cleanliness and simplicity of the room. Consistently loud though no sign of the rumored drug wing or the vagrants noted in other reviews. Will probably not go into the pool but there is a small gym with treadmill and elliptical. Literally one block from the airport though this also means roughly 10 minutes from downtown. Staff has been accommodating.

This hotel is a dump. I had been traveling thoughout Alaska for 2 weeks on a research project and this was one of the last hotels that I had visited. I stayed at the Extended Stay because it was close to the airport and my work was at the airport and it was convenient. It was obvious from check in that this hotel was a dump. The lobby and hallways smelled so bad that it gave me a headache from the short time that I was exposed to the fumes. I think the pool was the source of the smell. It had a chlorine aroma. The sheets were stained. I did not dare to sleep under the covers. The Internet was unreliable and I was unable to get my work done with the frequent disruptions in service. Breakfast is great if you like bread and squeezable margarine. Even the toasters were slow! Definitely a hotel to avoid AT ALL COSTS.

Worst hotel experience ever. There are other hotels just down the street. Don't fall into the trap of using this place just because of location like I did. The girl at the front desk was rude beyond belief. We arrived at about 12am with our very tired three year old and 1 year old, you'd think she'd have a little compassion on a small family traveling with kids. However, she charged us way more than she had agreed upon over the phone and then lied to my face about it saying she never said that. When I confronted her she got defensive and rudely said "well you can just go somewhere else. " Ok I'm going to go and drag my kids to another hotel at 12am after traveling for 8 hours on a plane. Yeah right? They just saw an easy target and took aim. Too bad I was forced to suck it up and stay there. Then when we asked for a crib she took her sweet time going and finding it and then they only brought it to the front desk and was like "here you go. " It had no sheet so I had to ask for one. Then seeing that there was no way I could drag the crib, our kids, and the luggage all the way back to the room I asked one of the other staff members if they could help me, you'd think that would be implied. You know help your guest. But they acted like it was an inconvenience. The room was ok but everything just seemed dirty. The next morning the breakfast was stale bagels. Powdered orange juice, tang or something. And stale bread. No cold cereal or even milk.

Stayed here for our transition out of JNU it's what you'd expect for places out here. Kind of dilapidated, the rooms are decent but really didn't feel clean. I had to cover the couch because the tell tale stains of someone's partying previously in here were grossing me out. Not a fancy vacation destination but it works and the location was convenient for us.

Location is the only reason why I would ever stay at this place. The airport is about 500ft away, and that's the only good thing about it. When we first checked in, they gave us a room that was already occupied. We unlocked the door, and walked in on people laying in bed! We're lucky they didn't have a gun. The front desk lady just shrugged it off and blamed it on "being tired. " When we went to our next room, the person next door was playing the trumpet! You can't make this stuff up folks. The hotel is full of shady people as well. If you're not comfortable staying by yourself, then you definitely don't want to hang around this place for long. The rooms were halfway clean, but there was no soap or shampoo to be found anywhere. If you absolutely have to be able to walk to the airport then you can deal with this place for 1 night, but otherwise stay somewhere else.

My wife and I have been staying at this hotel since before it became an 'Extended Stay. ' It was once a comfortable, clean place to stay, managed by courteous professionals. It is no longer clean, the staff are discourteous in the extreme, bordering on hostile, and professionalism is nowhere to be found. A once-good, nutritious breakfast has deteriorated to stale bagels and old fruit. Despite the promise of shuttle transportation, for two days, we were told that the shuttle was unavailable because '. The driver didn't show up. ' When we protested, the staff were rude, and almost abusive. The bedding didn't look clean, and pillows stank of cigarette smoke. Don't count on hot water for your shower, and don't take the pillowcases off of the pillows. Don't stay here if you can possibly avoid it. It's sad that a once-good place to stay has fallen so far.

Unlike other properties in Juneau, this hotel DOES NOT award frequent flyer miles; and the continental breakfast was the worst I have experienced in my years of business travel. I will not stay at this property again.
