My wife and I stayed at Villa Birdie for eight days while in San Sebastian and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful four night stay at Villa Birdie. The owner, Blanca, made us feel at home from the very moment we arrived.

The hotel is wonderful — beautiful setting, the rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The pool is lovely as well and the staff super helpful. The only let down is the food.

We recently spent 7 unforgettable days at Hotel Iturregi with two other couples, and it exceeded every expectation.

We loved our three night stay here. Great location, easy to walk everywhere, and just one block from an amazing beach with surfing.

The view was incredible! We enjoyed our stay at Villa Baena, the beds were comfortable, linen was great, although we didn't really use the kitchen it appeared well stocked.

Great choice for a stopover close to Bilboa but located in a lovely rural setting with stunning views of the countryside. The hotel itself was top notch.

This is an old villa in the hills outside Bilbao. It is located in a beautiful, tranquil setting with amazing views. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms modern.

Outstanding property with excellent service. We loved the views facing the water and the fact that the hotel wasn't in the heart of Old Town, which made it a bit quieter.

Best hotel experience I had in all of Basque Country. The service quality was easily better than the Four Seasons — Madrid. Staff was out of this world.

I've stayed here twice for business and it is a very comfortable hotel located in the center of Bilbao very convenient. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of things to choose from.

We Stayed here whilst walking the Camino del Norte. It has a Great central location close to lots of restaurants. Room was very comfortable with plenty of space and a good sized bathroom.

Nice hotel. Check-in and out went smoothly, and they graciously held our luggage after checkout until our flight, while we explored the city. Bar staff are friendly and beds are comfortable.

Good hotel, great location, rooms are nice, memory foam mattress, I don't like them, and pillows are too stuffed, end up with bad back and neck ache, sheets were clean.

We booked this at short notice as we didn't intend on coming to San Sebastian. The hotel is lovely and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are spacious and well appointed.

We stayed at Hotel Lopez de Haro while on a Rick Steves tour recently. We had a nice medium-large room. There was a Krops coffee maker in the room.

We liked the room and everything it had to offer. We loved the accessibility to the beach. The cafe downstairs was practical for coffee and breakfast.

My sister and I had a pleasant and comfortable week-long stay at Hotel Dolarea. We were allowed an early check-in by the wonderful concierge, Arrieta (apologies if I did not get her name correctly).

Friendly staff, basic but good, clean rooms and excellent location for the city and old town. Good food in restaurant.

Great historic hotel with modernised rooms that keep the old charm of the building.
