A very nice modern hotel with underground parking. Rooms, whist not large, are perfectly adequate and very clean. Some have baths and some only showers.

I had a wonderful stay at Axel Hotel Bilbao. The location is fantastic, right near the market, the river, and the old town — perfect for exploring the city on foot.

This is a gorgeous hotel, perfectly placed for the bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

As a group of 6 friends we stayed at this hotel at the start of October. It was unanimously the best hotel any of us had stayed at in San Sebastián — indeed in Spain.

A boutique hotel close to the Dona Katalina Zubia. There are two entrances to the hotel, the main one facing the road and the other entrance facing the Urumea River.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights as part of a 25th wedding anniversary holiday, having made the booking the previous November.

Fabulous hotel — great location in the city centre with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It is about 20 mins walk to the old town, but a pleasant walk.

Lovely stay at the Gran Hotel Bilbao! We had our room looking at the canal and was super quiet at the same time! Staff was amazing, friendly, there to what we needed even above that!

Very nice hotel in Portugalete. Clean and nice room. We were lucky enough to get a room with a corner balcony and a stunning view over the water and the square.

Palacio Arriluce is a hidden gem! I highly recommend a stay at this unique property tucked away in Getxo. The trip was meant to explore Bilbao but Getxo was the unexpected surprise.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Palacio! We stayed here in the middle on winter and got lucky with the weather. They upgraded us to the Suites (which were large) within the Palace.

Staff at check-in were lovely and very helpful. Loved the room key option on my phone. King size bedroom was so comfortable and we had 3 nights of deep, uninterrupted sleep.

The rooms are extremely spacious. Only downer was the telephone was not working and considering the room size the was very little storage and places to hang clothing.
