Very pleasant hotel with very easy access to the old city. Very near to some fabulous restaurants and bars. Within walking distance of the Guggenheim Museum too.

Central Hotel and well located for a getaway to Bilbao, you have almost everything a few minutes walk. Clean and very friendly staff, the only thing that gets a little weird is the reception on the first floor.

The hotel is located in the heart of Bilbao, very comfortable, it was the first time I saw a hotel with the reception on one of the upper floors. The service of the staff excellent, they cared about putting me in the breakfast, the bread gluten free, since I am celiac, biscuits, etc that I regret not being able to stay any longer. The room was very nice, with ladders that separate the area from the bathroom and wardrobe, with the beds area and a desk. All super clean. Highly recommended.

Very central Hotel, close to shops and all services, as well as near the most tourist points of Bilbao. The double room where we stayed large, comfortable and clean. We would repeat again.

Lovey hotel. However during our stay we found the room really hot. Even if we did alter the thermostat in the room. The room temp was 23 c. We phoned reception and we were told the air con wasn’t working and we could always open a window. Very true. However the street noise below then kept us awake.

Very good location close to shops and Old town. Improve access to reception is on the second floor. Quite clean rooms and common areas. Breakfast was pretty full.

Only one problem: the rooms too hot.

They have to improve the Wi-Fi because with certain OS causes a restart of the mobile.

Excellent hospitality and facilities, contemporary interiors. Extremely centric to everything, walking distance to shops, restaurant's and the Guggenheim museum. You can also walk to the old part of the city (casco viejo) Awesome experience!

Hotel has a very modern feel you it. What it may lack in views it makes up for in location with just a 5-10 minute walk to City Center. Just one block over from a major department store with grocery and cafeteria located inside. Rooms are spacious and clean, even the basic rooms. Staff is friendly and courteous. Would stay here again.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It is somewhat uncomfortable that the reception is on the floor 2 as you access the street but there is only a small hall. As for the rooms, the TV is very small and the table useless to work as with the laptop it does not give for much more.

The hotel is the worst! Nothing to do with the pictures it shows… I am trying to communicate to reception and neither the phone works, they do not know how sorry Q I am not having booked at the Carlton Hotel and all because the pictures show a hotel that does not exist.

Excellent location. It's a step away from everything. The rooms are very spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. The only thing to improve is the daily cleaning of the bathroom (the door inside was dirty). The reception is on the second floor because the Hotel is located above the Casino in Bilbao.

We did a great weekend, the hotel location is amazing, near the Mouya Plaza, 2 minutes from the train station, 5 from the metro. The neighborhood is very quiet during the night, but in few steps you can reach bar or restaurant and enjoy city life. Well done.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a brief trip to the Basque country. The room was very nice and the hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre.

Very well kept, modern hotel in an old building central bilbao. Comfortable, large bed. Hotel was clean and stylish. Rooms could only be better with the British tradition of a coffee making facility. Check in could have been quicker.

I loved it and would stay again if I am in Bilbao. The location was very convenient. I was particularly happy with the service offered. I arrived at 6 AM and was pleasantly surprised to be allowed to check in upon arrival.

Just in Bilbao for one night — good location and an easy bus ride from the airport. Good value for money — not the cheapest, but the rooms are fantastic, lounge area, great bathroom and a very comfortable bed — close to bars and restaurants, shops and sightseeing. Would happily stay again.

Great location right in the centre of the city. Standard rooms are very big and have English TV channels! Only downside is that the breakfast is €16.50 per person and you have to be clinically insane or a baller to think this is acceptable!

Very good the attention in reception. US offered upgrade for a little amount to a room above.

Just as a suggestion to put a ramp on the steps of the Hall, are uncomfortable with suitcases.

Hotel located in a historic building in Bilbao. Modern decor and good service. It has parking, but it is small, so you have to go to the other side (18€ / day). Features of all the amenities of a 4 star. However the closets are small and the bathroom being very nice, has little space to let vanity cases unless it is done on the bottom shelf. Breakfast is not at the height of another hotel of the same string (Sercotel Gran Bilbao), for example. Gym available.

Very well located, is close to everything. The bad thing is that in our room there was a background noise like a motor or something like that, but there were moments in that they are not listened to.

La habitación era muy grande, moderna y cómoda, con una luz y una decoración muy agradables. Lo mismo se puede decir de la cafetería. El desayuno buffet en general estaba bueno y completo, aunque sin nada a destacar. La ubicación es muy buena, céntrica, muy próxima a la estación de tren y a zonas de pinchos. En general, muy recomendable.

I wanted to sleep until the checkout but impossible… 3 hours before there was a lot noise, I guess that cleaning staff, which came into my room before the checkout…
For what I paid expected me a better service…

Excellent central location. Just stayed one night and didn't have the time to use the facilities. The reception staff gave a warm welcome and were very professional. Was upgraded to a junior suite. Room was very spacious and comfortable and very clean. Will come back on my next visit to Bilbao.

One of the best hotels that I have slept, is located in the Centre of Bilbao, next to the train station and from el Corte Inglés.
It has a modern facilities combined in a historic building
perfect if you need to do business meetings.

Although he did not give a time enjoy more days, the service was very good.

Very well located for Bilbao. Perfect condition. It has parking, breakfast buffet, helpful, room expands. Noa helped to solve certain problems with the room and the child having no cots available.

Very well located, this is a hotel to the sober and contemporary décor that may seem friendly, but which for us is of great elegance. Our room, wide, well isolated from the noise of the avenue, has a nice bathroom. Everything is very clean. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, varied and international. The staff is nice without ostentation, and the lady who greeted us made an effort to speak french. All with a promotion that allowed us to be accommodated in comfort at an affordable price.
Conveniently located, this hotel has simple and contemporary décor, which may seem a little cold, but seems great and elegant for us the room was, well isolated from street's noises, with a nice bathroom wide. Everything is clean. The free breakfast is international, diverse, abundant. The hotel is nice and the lovely miss who greeted us made the effort to speak English. We even obtained a promotion that allowed us to be accommodated in comfort year at affordable price.

Nice, clean modern hotel, right in the core of the city.

I have come with my partner to this hotel because it is new, we didn't have any unpleasant surprises. The Hotel exceeded our expectations, the beautifully restored façade and the super modern interior, decorated with much taste. The area we loved during the day has a lot of life since it is in the commercial center, we thought that, at night, we would have noise but quite the contrary, super quiet. Super friendly staff and attentive to our doubts. The room is very large with a good bathroom and well equipped. Perfect.

Four stars?, I not les daria or a flashlight, today 23-06-2011, I take the room at 21, 00 hours, to tell me that I have to urgently remove the car from the parking lot, they say I have to leave the car at the gate, (free of cost) by bad internal organization but that hotelucho is this?, is a real insult to the Basque hospitality industry do I stop? with people like better that they devote to something else.
Four stars?, I would give them even a flashlight, today 23.06.2011, me out of the room at 21.00 hours to tell me that I have to take urgently car parking, say due to poor internal organization I have to leave the car at the door (free of charge) but what is this bog? is a real insult to the hospitality industry Basque Do I stop? with people so you better be devoted to something else.
