Hotel

The Hotel is located on the side of the Begoca Cathedral in the upper part of the old town. The room was really small and no lockers or drawers (just a closet space with room for a couple of hangers) and a drawer; being in three we could not pull out almost anything from the vailgies. The quality of rest is excellent. A round of applause with standing ovations for the continental breakfast, really richs! I loved the courtesy water at the entrance: detail that few offer. There are supervised and well-equipped outdoor pool and indoor pool. In the building, downstairs there is the gym for fitness lovers. With a walk of 10/15min you will arrive in the Viejo Helmet and continue on the riverfront you arrive easily at the Guggenheim Museum.

Lovely hotel with amazing views towards the valley of Bilbao's river. Nice and very sophisticated design comfortable for families as well as for business trips. The food service and catering are just perfect, and the kindness of its staff is further than helpful. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel, very quite rooms. Food offering needs improving. We were very disappointed with the view from our (superior) room, we were told no other rooms were available.

Lovely hotel although on a busy road the rooms are quiet and comfortable Close to the metro and train/tram.

Beautiful modern hotel. Excellent food and service. Outdoor pool or indoor pool and GYM @ €20 per person or visit. Out of the city, approx 20 mins walk through a grottier part of town.

The hotel is very nice. It has great and modern rooms, the breakfast is good and abundant, and the staff is very friendly and operative.
It has a summer swimming pool, gym (€8 entrance) and spa.
It is not located in the center and, although it has very good accesses, the car is necessary to go to the area of the estuary, Guggenheim, Old Town, etc.
A very good stay there.

The declared SPA procedures should be stated very beforehand (massage and all! ), on the day of arrival we could not offer anything, even the pool was almost closed. This is just a sports club on the first floor of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, although one of our two rooms faced a buzzing hood, had to change. Late at night comfortably sat in the hall, fireplace, board games.

Hotel with Spa and outdoor swimming-pool.
Remodeled. Clean, well located and with good services.
Communicated near the Metro and bus stops. There's a big gym. The bar bar is very varied in Cockteleria. The menus are excellent. It's not a cheap hotel.
There is parking at the hotel itself. The rooms are modern and with Wi-Fi.

Very comfortable hotel. Ventilation just a little noisy. Attention Indoor pool and gym are not included.

This is a charming hotel. The Breakfast is excellent and the staff at Breakfast deserve special mention. Two very nice staff … Celso and Pilar are excellent! In the bar/bistro in the evening David and Mamadu are helpful and charming. Bedrooms are very clean and housekeeping staff always say Hola! Thank you everyone. It is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The lobby has several tastefully designed ambiences. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I stayed for (3) weeks and had the felt welcomed and heading to my clean room and at the ready when needed were staff to lend helping hand. I want to personally Thank the front desk, Lobby Bar and Maid staff for making my visit less hotel more home.

Excellent hotel, good bed and very clean everything.
If I had to put a stick, it would be that the parking is paid and it leaves something expensive parking night.

The hotel is not poorly located. It is well accessed by car and not too far from downtown if you don't mind walking a bit. It has outdoor pool which is great in summer. The facilities are modern and new. How it hits main, the price of parking somewhat expensive. And then it has a gym and spa, but it's paid for.

Find in Bilbo resting at the Western Hotel. Quiet, well connected and equipped. Within walking distance of the subway and with the possibility to use the spa of the gym. A success.

We took this hotel by the indoor pool as we would have stayed better one more central, and when we arrived we found out 20 euros per person and on the purchase page it is not clear, I would not choose it, besides paying too much for the parking lot. I put 2 stars just for breakfast which is nice.

Access to a spa, gym, beautiful indoor pool. Metro Station a few meters from the hotel. Very good breakfast, very comfortable bed, good reception of the staff. The staff does not speak French.

It would be nice if it wasn't for a person at reception who didn't turn out to be very professional. Without this person, it is very good hotel. And as a good hotel you need professionals. Thanks to everyone else because they're great.

Modern Hotel, large rooms with very comfortable beds. The bathroom is great too with everything you need. Close to Metro station and covered parking. The restaurant serves delicious burgers.

Good link to the roads and well located. Attached to the Basilica of Begoña. It is quiet and has a large parking, an outside and a covered interior.

Right Hotel with nothing to highlight. A little uncomfortable in the accesses. It is not very central and although getting to the center is easy, returning uphill on foot is not recommended. Uncomfortable and expensive Parking (€19 day). The breakfast was good.
In the room, the reading lights were not working and the air conditioning is noisy.

Cosy Hotel with ample common spaces. Big room, like the bathroom. Very attentive service. A hotel success.

Just returned home from a weeks stay. The hotel was lovely staff very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious the beds omg were unbelievable so big and comfortable did not want to get up. Cose to all things and right next to underground which was very cheep and easy to use. The resteraunt we used every night the food was top quality. The only negative I would say was the menu was the same every night. Apart from that we would recommend and will be returning. Thank you for a lovely stay x x.

Nice contemporary hotel. Great design and atmosphere. Rooms are very modern. Good parking. A bit far from the center. Don't be fooled by the picture of the pool. The stone structure with arches aren't ruins but a traffic tunnel. However, the sound barrier does a good job in masking the sound. The access to the gym is an extra charge of 8€ Would stay here again.

Bit out of town, close to metro, downhill walk to plaza nueva. Room clean and spacious. Staff helpful. Pool area could be a bit better but that is probably down to it being part of a health club.

We spent two days here last week and really enjoyed this hotel. nice bedrooms, nice lobby layout with dining room, bar room and lounge area altogether. Not expensive when compared to sister hotel Barcelo Costa Vasca in San Sebastian. City bus tour was lovely, Bilbao is a beautiful city but San Sebastian has the edge because it is on the sea front with long sandy beaches and great safe walking promenade.

From the appeal of the lobby to the comfortable beds this hotel has left a positive memory in my trip across Spain. The pool was nice and sufficiently deep. The room might feel small for some but not all. The beds we're superior as they were quite comfortable. The showers are nice and the room feels clean and we'll maintained. The breakfast was also quite nice as it had a wide variety of options for one to choose and enjoy. The lobby and services were good as well overall a nice place to stay if you are looking to staying in or just passing by Bilbao.

We have just spent two nights at the hotel; our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and very clean. There is a lot of choice for breakfast and the hotel has a nice swimming pool, which unfortunately we did not use because of the rainy weather. The staff is polite, available and keen to make recommendations. The hotel's location is excellent: it is a just above the old town where the bars, restaurants and shops are, the metro stop is very close (for example to go to the Guggenheim Museum) and Bilbao airport us 20 minutes away by taxi. There was no fridge in our bedroom but this would not stop us from using the hotel again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location adjacent to the metro, which we road into the main old town drinking/eating area. Good nightlife vibe. The hotel's bed featured an incredible matress that my wife still is craving. Nice view of the mountains from the room. Service was solid although we only really interacted with the front desk.

Friendly staff, top floor executive room sufficiently quiet, but not very spacious and with in-room shower bathroom. Design slightly outdated. Bed too soft for me. Good air conditioning. Did not try the breakfast, restaurant serves good dinners and sandwiches / salads. Good facilities. Metro station 5 min walking distance. Overall good value for money.

A good hotel. With very good service and attention. The rooms and the meeting rooms are of premium quality. The workers very attentive.

I was delighted as it has been after the remodeling.
Now you have a parking but that is accessed from the courtyard of the hotel. A few outdoor spaces, with 15-minute time limit for loading and unloading luggage.
It is a pleasure to be in the cafeteria and enjoy the views of Bilbao through a huge window that runs throughout the hall.
It is a good place to go with your children.

Hotel quite modern, just 5 minutes from the Centre by car or metro. The reception is nice and has pool and a panel of information of the next flights scheduled at the airport. Notable restaurant and breakfast service.

Very comfortable, well located hotel close to metro. Despite being close to a busy road, you don't hear nothing of noise. Great food and very friendly staff.

I recommed it to one friend of mine. She was totally delighted with the price/quality. Nice rooms, great service and the possibility of enjoying the Metropolitn Club facilities are the best way of describing our experiencia here.

The parking lot and the gym expensive. For the rest ok.

Quite recommended. The room is adequate, the shower is quite spacious and the bed large. Highly recommended to stay if you are at a good price. The location could be better, but this is 10 minutes from the metro.

I was at an event two weeks ago and certainly recommend it. The staff was excellent and the newly renovated Lobby Open invites you to enjoy more space.

Comfortable and functional hotel you plants in the old town at a time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Full and varied breakfast. The comfortable and spacious rooms with a super comfortable bed Ah and the city a last! ;).

Last week I stayed in the hotel for a meeting. It is very close to the Centre, the rooms are spacious. It caught my attention the Lobby Open, I think that it gives it personality.

A very well located hotel, which makes the stay very comfortable for exploring Bilbao. Great attention by the hotel staff and very complete breakfast. I would definitely recommend it and repeat place to stay there.

Unfinished reforms. Parking price of gold still in the works. After three days he could not distinguish the color of my car with the amount of dust that accumulated. Little affable waiters.

Attention the customer very correct, in general the treatment well, some bugs in the room, easy to solve, should inform future clients, on the use of the outdoor swimming pool, not everyone carries a CAP and towel.

Really poor customer service, they woke me up when I explicitly asked not to be disturbed. My room did not have a queen size bed even though I requested it. Breakfast was not worth the €13 I was charged. At noon I saw a protest at the very entrance of the hotel; it was a national wide protest by the hotel staff because they were not being paid. The hotel was half completed and it looked like a construction site. The parking lot is too small. All in all, it was a lousy motel with a self-appointed 4stars hotel evaluation. To me it's a 1star motel, at most.
