Great hotel! Accessible location, money changer in front of the hotel and a great mix of different food stalls across the street. Must try!

It was a worst ever services rendered especially on the Air conditioning units which was malfunctioning and the room refrigerator was not functional and it was empty. The breakfast being serviced is repetitive and boring and does not cater for a multi cuisine spread. Hotel not recommended.

Great service. They let me check-in 5 hours early free of charge. Central location. Super close to public transport. Recommend.

The room was very good, but the water boiler was an ugly and inefficient addition that needs to be replaced with a simple kettle. The breakfast was adequate but Luke warm and the staff over zealous at cleaning up. Couldn’t return to the buffet for a coffee without returning to find your breakfast having been cleared away. The staff had no idea of how to manage, constantly getting in the way of breakfasters and seeming to blame us for their presence. The kitchen door was in the middle of he buffet which caused more chaos. It was as though the management had heard of western buffets but never experienced them in real life. Their was one ray of hope with the Indian lady at reception. She was very helpful, polite without being sycophantic and had a great sense of humour and bubbly character. Give that lady a promotion!

I’m surprised that the hotel was nice and clean. It is also nicely decorated. Price is just right.

Hotel is refurbished therefore facilities are improved. Rooms are sized based on older space so it is spacious. People are friendly. It has a small lobby and hotel is not front facing the main orchard road. However it is near to shopping places in orchard and about 10 minutes walk from somerset train station.

Not worth the price we paid. Rooms were nice, but staff very painful to deal with. Inflexible with regards to breakfast, and did not provide towels for the pool.

I visited Singapore in October 2017 along with my family. I chose this hotel due to the central location it had. It is right there on the Orchard Road which is a hub for malls, commercial markets and a lot more. Also it is well connected to all the tourist places around the city. But I was really disappointed with one of the staff here, her name was Jennifer. She was really ill-mannered and hostile. She needs to learn she is working in the hospitality industry. Moreover their breakfast buffet had very limited choices. They should add on some more vegetarian options. The stay was comfortable. The rooms are clean and tidy.

Rooms are a bit dated. Location near Orchard Road is convenient. Trying to get in & out of the bathtub/shower was pretty dangerous, I was holding on to the handrail for dear life. Room has a hot & cold water dispenser for drinking, very handy.

The biggest selling point of this hotel is it's location. Treat it as a place to sleep and keep your things. The staff are extremely friendly and the rooftop pool is amazing if you want swim. The main issue with this hotel is the shower facilities. They are situated inside very high baths. Getting in an out is a hassle and I'm 6ft. It feels extremely unsafe, especially when wet. They recently underwent renovations so I'm not sure why the bath tubs survived. If you have elderly people traveling with you I would suggest you avoid this hotel. The decor is also dated, it looks like it's out of the 70s. Again, staff are amazing. It feels like the owners are reluctant to spend money.

We stayed 4 nights in the Grand Central Hotel before going on our 13-day Princess cruise. Great convenient location off of Orchard Road with shopping malls and eating establishments all within walking distance. Bus stop for Hop-On-Hop-Off is just around the corner of the street on Orchard Road. Orchard Road is a shopping mecca with tons of Christmas decorations. We had a nice clean room with window of street on the 10th floor. Did not try breakfast.

Hi everyone due to my job I am always in travel, I was 3 night in this hotel in December. Location is goid but I was Completely regret why I choosed this hotel. Room size and bathroom are very smaller than standard. Breakfast disappointing and almost No lobby just a row of sits. But this is not the worst part, Receptions are rude and bad tempered even if you be polite. And those I met them there had same idea. Sure next time I will stay in another hotel.

Location is very convenient, 5 min walk from Somerset MRT which is a great place to shop as well. Room is clean and full of facilities (comfy bed, water dispenser, window, hair dryer, smart TV with YouTube support, hot water shower, etc). Oddly enough, there's no toothbrush and toothpaste provided in the bathroom though. Breakfast is alright, though the buffet spread is quite basic. Overall a decent stay for the price since due to the central location.

Somehow felt as if the room is not clean enough. Maybe because the floor carpets feels like vintage age. Half-sized bathtub which I think it was better without it. However the room itself comes with an endless supply of drinkable water (hot and normal temperature), which is quite a plus point.

The first time on the way to australia we had two really good rooms with a great view and a lot of beauty stuff. This time, on the way back home, we get tiny rooms with an ugly view to a dark court. We are missing the bathrobe and slipper and also all the beauty stuff like teeth brush, shaver, shampoo (i washed my long hair with shower gel, because I had two of them with two different colors and thought the other one is the shampoo). It is like we get the forgotten rooms at the end of the floor around the corner, where nobody ever comes around. And I have a long, fat, black hair in my bed Breakfast was ok but not really for this money. The eating room was cold like a canteen. they only get two stars because of the first visit here.

Stayed for 3 days with my friends, room wasn't very big, especially for the price. Toilet was also very small. A bathtub is included but unless you're 1 meter tall, don't expect to be able to fit in there. Parking space here is also terrible, theres no parking for this hotel, instead, it shares parking space with a neighbouring hotel, and even then, there is a walk from the parking to the hotel itself. Don't recommend coming here, there are other better hotels in SG.

It's an average hotel. Clean and cozy. Doesn't have the best food but hey it's good.

Location location location… center of the city & very easy to access the winders of Singapore. Rooms are bit small but manageable. Convenience on getting foods, laundry & other requirements.

We went there to drop off a relative who will be staying for a few days. We were quite surprise that there's a lot of people coming in so apparently it's a popular choice for tourists. Nice lobby, accommodating staff and the public restroom, although small, was very clean, well maintained and smells nice too.

Lobby looks good but kind of weird that there was no drop-off. Overall, decent hotel.

Check in process was very nice, handled by muslim lady with hijab. The room is nice as well, very clean. Customer service during check out process should be better, handled by a different lady, a bit rude in her tone. Overall it was okay.

It is a good place to stay. If ur only goal is to roam in singapore then u can surely rest in night at there. It's prices are also moderate. So it will not affect ur total budget.

I had the worst experience at this hotel. The rooms are good but that's about all you can expect from them. Their customer service is really bad and they were really unfriendly when I called them to clarify them, having had no proper system of dealing with my request.

Very close to orchard road. A lot of restaurant stalls near by. Compact and clean bed room. Elevator (lift) tend to crowded during breakfast or checkout time.
