There is a burnt smell and renovation noise in the lobby, but the restaurant is well sheltered from these annoying irritants.

Unhelpful service staff that lack of empathy and sympthetic to guests feelings and experience given the recent overhauled of the hotel. Pls spend your night with other hotels instead.

Everything is gd. I drop my diamond bangle. The staff found it They call me I did not pick up the phone. Later when I realise I went back to Straits Kitchen they return me back. Very honest staff. Tq.

We had wonderful lunch at Straits Kitchen, the service is superb 👍strongly recommended ❤️My sister accidentally drop her gold bangle and she got it back after awhile. At the front desk I was given mineral water after feeling dehydrated. They were so nice 👍 thank you 🙏

Had an awesome 2D1N staycation with my husband yesterday to celebrate our advance 3rd wedding anniversary. Service was great, staffs were friendly and they even gave us an anniversary cake and card! Thank you Grand Hyatt and we will definitely be back again for our next staycation! 🥰🥰

We had a wonderful and exclusive experience on 10-May-2021 where I celebrated my wife’s birthday. The hosts, Alfee and crew, were phenomenal and energetic in ensuring our Marco Polo journey were fun and informative. They even go the extra mile in providing a complementary birthday cake and sang my wife a birthday song. And now we know where did Italian pasta originated 😁

Love this hotel, the concierge is awesome, My husband left his phone in a taxi and they tracked it down and phone was returned the next day. Very grateful for Suan and his crew.
We booked for King room and was able to upgrade it. Thanks to the front desk lady Charisse who helped us. The room is very spacious, we got a nice view of the city which is good because we’re staying here for 2 1/2 months. The hotel is in very nice location, it’s surrounded with different restaurants and malls.
Overall, we very satisfied.

Overall great staycay with spacious room and best of all my girl loves the bath tub. Food was great too amd definitely will be back again. Thank you Grand Hyatt👋👍

Due to the current situation, we are not allowed to self service for lunch buffet, however, the great service was given by the manager of the restaurant. MR Shahri, He gave us a very good advise and explain to us the buffet lunch menu so that we could try everything to ensure that the food is fresh. Strongly highly recommended!

Good food and great prices but food punctuality could be improved. However I had a thoroughly disappointing experience collecting my dinner takeaway this evening. My collection time was 6pm, I had arrived at 6.25pm (taking into consideration that there could be food preparation delay). Waited in the pickup area for my food for a good 15-20 mins before checking with a staff member on my order only to be told to continue waiting. At 6.55pm, I’m done waiting and decided to call the hotline instead to check on the status of my order. I finally got my orders at 7.05pm. Essentially, the food only arrived 1hr past the stipulated collect time. It would be good if the team could have upfront if they had overlooked the order or at least explain why the delay instead of having the customer sitting in the Carpark without having any updates.

Great team running & managing the drive through meal box pick up service during Circuit Breaker. They ensured a very smooth service & no driveway congestion. Beautiful hotel with excellent service from all staff members. They always smiled and most called me by my name, which made me feel special. I loved the spacious rooms, especially the beautiful large bathroom with separate shower. Breakfast buffet is excellent! Great location for a variety of shopping needs and close to train station. Looking forward to a return visit. — Ms Mandy Koh is an OUTSTANDING concierge who helped us navigate Singapore with so much ease. She deserves a raise!

Super satisfied by the service staff at 10 Scotts when we went for the high tea, especially Nicholas. He went out of the way to make sure everyone is comfortable and settled in. He was attentive to the 2 kids which very appreciated by the parents. Thank you for making our experience such a pleasant and happy one!

Some of the staffs can be quite rude but overall still not too bad. Beautiful design. Perhaps they need to spend more money on customer service training instead.

We go for the buffet at Straits kitchen for lunch and dinner quite often. Mainly because my little girl likes the food. However, we noticed a few changes/things that are disappointing: 1) ice cream station. The famous delicious durian ice cream is replaced by soft ice cream (from the machine) 2) juice station: in the past, there was fresh orange or watermelon juice. However, you don’t serve that anymore. … 3) Indian station: some of the curries are cold. 4) Chinese noodle station: the dumplings were served cold a few times. I hope it will get better. Having said that, we like the ambience very much plus the restaurant is very clean.

My friends and I had dinner at the Mezza9 restaurant. Foods were great as usual. However we noticed something that didn't pleased us at all. When we asked where are the breads. The reply came back as, we start charging for that… not good. Also the service is slower than our past experience. Together with charging of breads, we guessed must be some cost saving measurement the hotel takes… reduced staff. Anyhow it was the usual great food and great place.

Really like the function rooms for events with perfect organization. Couple of good restaurants inside too. There is the entrance to a club just next to it so it is a good people watching opportunity while waiting for a cab. Speaking of which, many high end cars are always parked there. All in all a nice place for many times of the day.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a business area for business men to gather, have meetings or just quickly do their emails or have lengthy discussions. The bar offer many specials for gin tastings or martini evenings. The food in all the restaurants on site is exceptional. It is also a short walk to the bus stop that offer the 3 lines for the city tour. Remember to plan enough time for a 2 to 3 day tour as there is plenty to see. The swimming pool area is a must and try to set aside enough time to enjoy the sun or shade. Their spa must also be on your list of activities so plan ahead.

The Grand Lounge is one of a kind. Situated at level 20, the service and food quality is top notch. It's also perfect for quiet and privacy. Unfortunately, it is not accessible to everyone. But should you be able to access it (due to your room booking), it's highly recommended.

Very fast check in and out… clean and spacious rooms and very attentive staff. Room service was fast and food quality was very good. Last but not least, location is great being near orchard road.

Last Sunday, my family and I had breakfast at Straits Kitchen. We were there a couple of times before and the variety and quality of food served during breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately, this time the buffet spread was not up to our expectations. 1. Nasi Lemak rice and condiments were served cold
2. Indian curry was too salty
3. Laksa gravy was too coconuty that we felt overwhelmed by the taste…
4. Food Presentation not up to standard However, we are very happy with the Artisan Baker who served good bread.

When visiting Singapore the Grand Hyatt is one of the best hotels to choose from. It's within a short walking distance from the underground train and from many shops and restaurants. The hotel has several restaurants including a very nice Italian restaurant. The spa and swimming pool area is just amazing.

I found myself well, the staff are friendly and prepared, not very usual in the East, excellent services offered by the hotel, great room with a view of the Petronas, and the mattress, the only drawback the pool is a little ' suffocated by the adjacent and sunny buildings of consequence, but in the center is the price to pay…

Well air-conditioned, very clean environment. The colour scheme is very classy and warm, so it is easy on the eyes at any time of day. I am unable to comment on the rooms and service as I did not stay overnight. The food however is very diverse in selection and high in quality. Although the prices are expensive the taste and enjoyment from the food matches it nicely.

Straits Kitchen had a really good spread for a reasonable price. A good place that is classy enough for business visitors and since it is Halal it's easier to plan. Spread is mostly Asian, and the furnishing lends to that feel as well.

It is located an a convenient spot. Easy to find. Lobby feels welcoming, spacious and luxurious. Staff were well trained, polite. Do drop by the Mezzanine Bar for some creative martinis.

Luxury hotel on Scott road, perpendicular to Orchard. The rooms are equipped with a leaving with TV, Office + bedroom with TV, bathroom with shower and bathtub as well as separate WC… several restaurants and tea rooms. Rather impersonal, however.

I stayed here for 9 nights recently and I was impressed by their great hospitality and flexibility. The breakfast buffet has all kind of menu and the lady manager at the restaurant is very attentive. The room is clean and nicely designed. The location is very convenient to mass transits. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Singapore!

Top Hotel in a prime location not far from Orchard Road. Modern and tastefully furnished. I was here for the fourth time within a month and the lady at the reception said in a minor that I will get a presidential suite until I leave the next day. I didn't realize what she meant at first. Lovely Italian restaurant. Staff are very professional. Loved the firewood pizzas, it is excellent. Consider trying out their salad bar. Pasta was pretty good. They offer takeaways too Do check their deals and promotions. I enjoyed the free flow salad bar before 7pm I think It is a expensive ($20+++) but a nice place for a cozy date.

Good but aging hotel, needs renovation compared to, other HYATT around the world.

Best Location. The suites are spacious. Quality of furniture could have been better. Luxurious Bathroom area. There is limited breakfast option for vegetarians. TV channels are also a challenge. Near the subway and bus station. The orchard street is around the corner which is the best part.

A great stay at Grand Hyatt Singapore! Big clean rooms, the staff are courteous and always greets with a smile. The breakfast at Straits Kitchen serves most of the native and famous dishes in Singapore. Mezza9's dinner was also something to look forward too, food and service was great. My daughter and I loved the sushi plate shiruba — all served fresh! For your dessert, dont forget to order their flower pot of the day! The pool was great too. When we had a chance to be at the Club floor, service and food was really good! Will definitely recommend Hyatt to family and friends!

Front Office staff here are very friendly and attentive. Hadn't been staying here for a while but was still recognized as returning customer. Large, functional rooms in the heart of Singapore. Good gym. Variety of restaurants and bars for every taste.

Grand Hyatt has a very well and tastefully done interior design albeit the rooms and gallery are nor the most spacious. Still the staffs are very warm to us and showed terrific amount of hospitality towards thr guests. Love this place!

Mezza9 wining and dining is a must-go for foodies. Asian and international foods are worth your trip there. Martini bar is recommended after dinner. I recommend Apple Martini, with fresh apple juice. Normal selection of wines and whiskeys. Tom Yum Soup for your starter to get the taste buds ready!

It is always a pleasure to stay with you on my visits to Singapore on business. Staff like Isaac go out of their way to make me feel welcome and at ease. Very spacious lobby to show off the grand scale of this hotel. There is a bar downstairs that is a famous joint for solo travelers. It is centrally located with the best shops of Singapore surrounding the hotel. The subway is on very short walking distance and there is a premium cinema right around the corner. This is the hotel to stay when you want peace and tranquility in your room and a bustling shopping district right outside your hotel.

The Hyatt was fantastic! The hotel is large and somewhat impersonal, but as a business traveller, this suits me very well. The room was large and spacious, the full work desk was great for catching up on work, bonus that it overlooked the pool deck. Free and fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel makes staying in contact easy and seamless. The amenities in the room are well thought out and plentiful. I loved that there were six bottles of complimentary water that were replenished every day. The mini bar was a bit of a disappointment, so perhaps stop by at the nearby 7-Eleven if you want a more diverse range of snacks. I loved the gym! It was well equipped with plentiful modern equipment. It's open 24 hours, so when you're jet lagged, you can get in a quick workout.

Our stay for 3 nights was very nice; clean, bright, spacious rooms and large bathrooms. The rooms were nicely airconditioned. On one night they were fixing the hot water, so due to the inconvenience we received a breakfast buffet which was great. The pool area was really nice too. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Grand Hyatt is a very good place to stay in. The prices may be steep, but it is very much worth it. With its location comes many great services and malls to explore while also being in the city area of Singapore. The rooms are well kept and the lobby is very responsive.

I was there on holidays with my three teenage kids, we had the best time. The staff, concierge, and housekeepers were all helpful, friendly, understanding. The Restaurant downstairs were we had our breakfast every morning was welcoming and excellent service provided by friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned everyday without fail. Beautiful hotel. They have a really great interior ambience and great rooms. I like how there's the soft sound of the waterfall besides the pool area all the time. Location is great. It's next to some of the best cafes and shopping malls in Singapore.

Was at Mezza9, a very posh restaurant with great ambience. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was great. Pricey but yes this is Hyatt hotel. Can only expect the best. One of the must try is the BLUE SWIMMER CRAB CAKES. Super good! Been here for the brunch buffet, they have unlimited champagne option. Reasonably priced with quality food and variety of choices. Will come back always!

Attented pool side wedding event, space is limited such that half the guests are behind the bar counter above a short flight of stairs. Still, overall ambient is cost. Staff response time is commendable, observant and attentive. Obvious that all had gone through training or prior experience, doesn't seem to have part timers here. Facility is bit of a letdown, speakers are muffled and underpowered. Male and female shower and toilet cubicles have only 1 cubicle each resulting in having to walk across to other tower to avoid queue.

Britax Bar is the perfect joint to hold a bachelor night for the guys. Service was good and the staff treated us with respect. The live band was awesome and we enjoyed chilling to it. Would definitely head back again when we want to have a night's worth of great party.

Grand Hyatt is located in a perfect place next to Orchard MRT. And next to Tang plaza and Far East plaza. From the employees standing outside to inside they all give incredible good service. Their rooms are also amazing and spacious.

Went to a restaurant called Pete's Place for buffet lunch. Was told the same style of offering has been going on for more the 30 years. Small selection of spread but all of very high quality. There are less than 5 main course dishes and probably single digit dessert choices. Absolutely fantastic Baked whole salmon for main and the signature tiramisu goes with the equally high quality coffee.

There's a clean and worn chair in the lobby. Some rooms have a very unpleasant smell of smoking. The room was clean and comfortable. There's a lot of prostitutes downstairs. It's not worth the price they claim. We went there, thought it was going to be an excellent hotel, like in Malaysia. It was a beautiful hotel. It's not exactly the right place. The standard number is not worth 150 S $. I hope this hotel can be as beautiful as it is in Malaysia, and it will be in his name!

Great hotel in an awesome location. Staff is amazing, restaurants and bars are all really nice, the gym & locker rooms are one of the best I've seen. Includes a steam & dry sauna, hot tub, and cold pool! Out front makes for amazing people watching, including celebrities and working ladies heading into the club next door late at night.

The staff, in every single portion of the hotel, were beyond spectacular and provided excellent service. From the sweet housekeeping staff asking, "You okay today, lah? " to the room service porters backing out of the suite with their faces facing you. Everything was well done and this is a great example of what a Hyatt should be. (In contrast, the abysmal Hyatt Place in Raleigh, NC USA could learn a thing or seven from this property. ) Saya amat mengesyorkan hotel ini kerana kakitangan dan harta yang sangat baik. I did not change suites during my stay: however, I do know that some suites are not as nice as the one I was in. With that being said, my suite had hardwood floors in the living spaces and a light intricate marble in the baths. Everything was softly backlit and well done. All the colours in the suite worked well together and is just, overall, indicative of why this is a highly regarded hotel here in Singapore. The lobby and front carousel can be hectic but the staff handle it very well. If you're in Singapore for holiday or business, this hotel is highly recommended and receives my rare five stars.

Rooms need to be refurbished as even the ones that were are somewhat 90s' style and having the Marina Bay Sands in town as competition increases the level of expectations. Breakfast in the swimming pool is awesome! Cheaper than the dining room. Dining room breakfast though is very wide in verities but the location is too much indoor with no exposure to sunlight. Pool dining of business lounge dinning at the upper floor are better options.

Charges are very high because it is close to Orchard and an iconic landmark in Singapore. Otherwise, St Regis, Westin, Pan Pacific (marina) provide better amenities and value.

Hotel is impressive from the foyer. Grand and regal. We stayed in a Deluxe Club Room. The room itself was very clean, tidy and looked fancy. However after a while we noticed the cracks in the bathroom walls, the grout eroded and black. Being very particular about bathrooms and toilets I notice these things. They are renovating, so in time they'll fix it up. Staff service was amazing. In particular Luiz was very helpful in organising tickets for Santosa, advising us on the best travel routes as well as hotspots for the things we wanted to do. Club buffet was very busy for breakfast, so go early! Would definitely stay in again.

10 Scotts is perfect — amazing afternoon tea that's top of my list if I visit Singapore.

A great place for business travelers in Singapore. Tastefully refurbished a few years ago, all the rooms are decorated in modern minimalist (yet cozy) style. The latest outlet to get a face lift is the 10 Scott lounge on the ground floor, and a warmly ethnic F&B outlet that would also offer a bult-in meeting room. If you happen to have access to the 20th floor Club lounge, dining look for Audrey, and her broad smile and uncanny sense of details; she's one of (if not the) best.

Some staff can be snobs but mostly are friendly and ready to please. The Club Lounge is a must try, with generous helping of meticulous pre-dinner snacks and alcohol. The main cafe, Straits Kitchen, offers wide variety, but tastes are generally flat (I avoid it mostly). Within walking distance to the starry glitzy malls of Orchard Road.
