The reception is pretty quaint and plain, with 2 sets of sofas for guests and outsiders. It is located in nearby Somerset, so there are a lot of options for shopping and food. Across the hotel is a small seafood food place with affordable prices. There is a bus stop so transport is easy as well.

It is in the heart of the city, with access to different big malls in Orchard. Location is strategic without spending too much! There are 4, speedy elevators so going up and down wouldn't be a problem even though you come in a big group. Child-friendly too. It has spacious pickup/drop-off facade and accessible to public transportation, too.

Breakfast food is healthy but not appetizing as expected. Service is ok but few staffs to assist you with luggage. Room drinking water dispenser is neither hot nor chill cold.

Locations are ok, close to food and orchard, but they need to improve their room, a bit dark to my taste, and we had feeling that the room is quite old, what we dont like most is the bathroom, maybe better remove the bathub totally, and just use shower only for taking bath, we bring toddler and a bit difficult if wanna take shower her and have to jump into the small bathub…

The hotel is located right behind The Concorde Hotel Orchard. Its in walking distance to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and Plaza Singapura, also to the Somerset MRT station at 313@Somerset. There is a bus station in front of Concorde Hotel too, so quite near. The hotel room itself have a kind of outdated interior but it is very comfortable and clean. The room is quite spacious too. The food in the restaurant is just okay. There is pool at the rooftop level but I cant find a way up there.

Chancellor@Orchard is centrally located in Orchard Road where shopping, entertainment and dining destinations are just minutes away. The hotel is within a 5-minute walk to Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations.

What we didnt like… breakfast is very bad only a few things to choose from. Hotel has FREE Wi-Fi but ONLY 100 MB for the ENTIRE duration of the stay. Hotel is near main shopping area so that is the only plus point.

Between 2 stations so quite convenient and very close to a bus stop. Hotel itself is quite nice. Didn't get a chance to use the roof top pool but view from there is nice.

Close to Lego land, this hotel is an apartment that already completed with kitchen. So comfortable with affordable price hotel. Love it!

Just the average hotel… But it gets the job done… Don't expect big space. The location is best for a business or shopping.

Just loved its rooms, facilities, decor& ambience. Food at restoration is superb catering to every palate.

Good clean place but size of bathroom is very small. Breakfast spread is really needs improvement.

Room is of reasonable size. Good location near Dhoby Ghaut. The room facility is a plus: water dispenser and internet TV. Didn't manage to try the pool because it is closed at 8pm.

Very upscale hotel. Good beds but quite small rooms, afterall it's Singapore. But very clean rooms and great all you can eat breakfast.

Comfortable hotel that is situated close to orchard. Building looks old but inside is newly renovated. Facilities and amenities could improve as a whole.

Budget Hotel in the heart of Singapore. On Orchard Rd. Small but decent rooms. Very basic services but at affordable tariff. Poor breakfast. Absolutely nothing in it for Indians.

Probably a 3.5. Small rooms. 3/4 bath shower. Ok for two regular sized westerners but if you are on the larger size then you’ll find it hard to wash. Lots of tour groups come through here. Breakfast is average. Beds are shorter than normal for a western standards. Great value for money and well located to transport.

One of the less expensive options near Orchard Road and considering the good location, it's pretty reasonable. In absolute terms its a little dated and in need of an update, but if you're just overnighting in Singapore it's perfectly fine.

Small room. When I first come, I can't watch TV because the remote battery has been run out. But, still. This is a good place with reasonable price and the most important. This hotel near with many places on Orchard rd.

It's a clean, strategic, affordable hotel with just enough amenities in the room. No need to worry for mineral water because their are a water dispenser in each room. Something you find in another hotel near Orchard.

Very good location, close to Orchard Road, Lion City Building, very convenient. Price is moderate, there is free Wi-Fi, good value for money.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel from Aug. 27 to Sep. 3, 2017. Actually, I still don't know if I should call it a hotel or simply "a place" to crash. The place is nothing but well-situated. I don't even want to get into details how the guy at the reception treated us. Having no respect nor patience with non-native English speakers, the guy even rolled his eyes at us. How provoking! To be honest, he's definitely NOT capable of working in the service industry. We felt mistreated and humiliated. Even one star is overrated.

Decent place with basic amenities… Location 8/10 Not the luxurious hotel you might enjoy… But still decent…

Very clean and tidy. Very well maintained rooms. Feels good living here.

Not a clean place. I mentioned on 3 seperate occasions that there was mold in my rooms shower cubicle. Nothing has been done so it shows no urgency to fix the issue. Staff are friendly, and hotel location is good.

Good hotel well situated near Orchard Road. Rooms were clean and daily rate was competitive. Reception service was helpful and pleasant. There was a good variety of options for breakfast and the quality was quite good. Washing machine and dryer facilities provided and a large outside rooftop pool.

Comfortable accommodation. Front desk let us check in very early which was great. Unfortunately the hotel loses a star due to a very clunky TV system and the fact that the air conditioning turns off when you leave with your room key (you only get one) meaning you return to a humid, stale, hot room.

THE WORST HOTEL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! BLOOD STAINS IN HOTEL! We were given a hotel room the size of a shoe box. The bathroom ceiling was mouldy, there were stains on the bed sheets that did not get replaced AND we found blood stains on the toilet bowl… URGGG! The outside of the hotel smells of sewage, and across the road is Sex shop, dodgy massage store, and a condom shop. AND on top of that the staff were disrespectful, and rude! (and they can afford to be as they get a lot of group bookings so they don't care). Plus, the breakfast didn't seem fresh to us… GUYS DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DON'T GO THERE!

The Chancellor hotel is a splendid place to stay, central to the city and a great base from which to venture out into the city and enjoy all of its sites and scenes. I would highly recommend the hotel and its facilities, and the bellhop, Louie, is a treasure. If we should ever return to Singapore, the Chancellor will be our first choice of hotel.

Clean, affordable, good Wi-Fi, close to buses and MRT. Would stay again.

Please keep additional 50 dollers in your pocket as they will ask for this at the checkin. It is for the additional expenses that could occure. Rooms are ok. You will have dedicated Wi-Fi access point in tour room and when u r at the lobby you can connect to hotel Wi-Fi with the password given.

Though the rooms were small but the hotel is really nice. Specially the swimming pool on the roof top.

Great hotel to stay and in a great area. There are great malls and food joints near the hotel. The food offered by the hotel is also good but not a lot of options for vegetarians.

Never ever recommend this hotel! It looks like the hotel was renovated recently but it does not seem that it was managed well. The hotel room was smelly and a lot of dirty spot and dust in many corners. The breakfast restaurant was crowded and many food bowls were remanind empty. The hotel for cheap group travellers from my point of view… No value for money…

It was the best hotel I've seen till now. …

Close to china town but closest train is one kilometer away.
