We had an incredible stay here. 360° views, fantastic snorkelling on your doorstep and lovely staff.

Our first time in Samoa and our travel agent suggested this resort. We booked for 2 couples, their 7 nights stay package in the Deluxe Oceanview rooms and our room were in the 200 & 500 blocks.

The setting of this accommodation is just beautiful. Every place you look. The staff were friendly and really made the stay great. I will be back!

We had the best experience staying at Lava hotel. The communication was great and they stayed in touch to help us when our flights were cancelled and delayed.

Only ate at the restaurant. Really good food but service is kind of slow. Staff is friendly and they don’t try rushing you out just to fill tables.

I had a great time staying at the Outrigger Samoa for 3.5 weeks during my travels to Samoa.

I had a fantastic week at the Outrigger, using it as my base while I explored Upolu. The hotel itself is a lovely old tastefully decorated colonial building.

Went for day at beach and lunch only, didn't stay in resort.
Two lovely restaurants and a poolside café. One restaurant has fale overlooking water also gets nice breeze.

Lovely resort with rooms nice and comfortable with verandah looking over ocean. The place is simplistic with nice gardens and swimming pool area.

Wow! We (family of 4) absolutely loved our time at Samoana. We stayed there for 8 nights. Our room was spacious, fresh, clean with a great bathroom and large shower.

If you want an unassuming, but relaxing stay, then give Vaea Hotel a go. Family owned and run, very welcoming and helpful.

Awesome location, walking distance to market. Pool was amazing clean everyday and staff was so helpful helped take all our stuff on arrival to our room when we arrived… Definitely be back.

A place like no other! If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe, look no further. This place has different accommodation types and all very well presented. The view is amazing and you can see Savaii!

Always a great experience staying here. Best Fia Fia night in Samoa. Their Island Grill Night is also great. The rooms are spacious, large beds and the outdoor shower is stunning.

I tried both the studio and the cabin, and I loved staying here. Very charming and green guesthouse, homemade breakfast with fresh coffee and fruits, and the most lovely staff.

Apaula Heights Lounge is a great place to experience real Samoan hospitality. I loved my stay there. The hosts are very hospitable, breakfast is diverse and delicious.

Location is just Great.
Situated in the heart of Apia, making it convenient for accessing the town's center, markets (Fugalei Fresh Produce Market and Flea Market are nearby), shops, and restaurants.

I picked here for is location AND it's advertised Wi-Fi service.
Alas no Wi-Fi — Reception informs me their Wi-Fi has been down 2 weeks — had I been notified I'd have stayed elsewhere.

We had the pleasure of staying at Laimoa in September 2025 as a family of five, and it was a wonderful experience.

The rooms are okay, but the Wi-Fi internet is only available at the reception room.

Good service, room according to the photos, clean, the pool is small buy still ok, in general a really good place.
