I had a great time staying at the Outrigger Samoa for 3.5 weeks during my travels to Samoa.

I had a fantastic week at the Outrigger, using it as my base while I explored Upolu. The hotel itself is a lovely old tastefully decorated colonial building.

Spoke to the owner. I have my own lodge. She was great and understanding of the feedback.
Rooms are clean and well equipped, AC is good as is the Wi-Fi.

Great location and super friendly staff. We paid 50 tala to check in early after an overnight flight.

Clean, quiet, and conveniently located—ideal for families and solo travelers. Close to town yet a peaceful retreat. Car rental is right next door (Taumeasina Rentals) — RAV4 for $130 per day.

Wow! We (family of 4) absolutely loved our time at Samoana. We stayed there for 8 nights. Our room was spacious, fresh, clean with a great bathroom and large shower.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Vaea!
If you're like us and can't stomach the prices of the resorts but also can't quite face slumming it in a hostel, hotel Vaea is the perfect option!

Pros: Cleanliness of the rooms, pool and outdoor dining area, location and security of the property.

Service is amazing, every time we go we're served by this one waitress that's been there for years and years — lovely woman!

Such a lovely place to stay in Apia. It was relaxed, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.

Our favourite Fia Fia night on the island! Nearly 30 musicians and dancers, including incredible fire dancing.

Very nice resort. The beach and pool were very relaxing and the views were beautiful. The house we stayed in was also very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Apaula Heights Lounge is a great place to experience real Samoan hospitality. I loved my stay there. The hosts are very hospitable, breakfast is diverse and delicious.

A place like no other! If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe, look no further. This place has different accommodation types and all very well presented. The view is amazing and you can see Savaii!

This stay has been incredible — priceless views, relaxing and warming hosts, to a culture filled adventure. Amenities are all clean, tidy and comfortable. This is such a beautiful place to stay.

The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was OK but we had a buffet dinner which was very good. Very hospitable owner who made us welcome.

Location is just Great.
Situated in the heart of Apia, making it convenient for accessing the town's center, markets (Fugalei Fresh Produce Market and Flea Market are nearby), shops, and restaurants.

I picked here for is location AND it's advertised Wi-Fi service.
Alas no Wi-Fi — Reception informs me their Wi-Fi has been down 2 weeks — had I been notified I'd have stayed elsewhere.

The rooms are okay, but the Wi-Fi internet is only available at the reception room.

Hotel was amazing, it was new, very clean, and a wonderful breakfast We stayed 2 nights, Niu and her staff were all so helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay. Greg and Maree.

Have been staying at insel since it’s opening, on my numerous trips to South Pacific countries meetings. And weekend excursions from Pago. Staff outstanding and attentive. Rooms clean and affordable.

I came here with my mum and sisters and I just wanted to say that the staff were very nice the pool was nice to relax in and overall a good place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alec Hotel and I can say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had.

Stayed thre for 4 nights and my brother stayed thre for 1 week, loved the rooms, the service.

Accommodation was nice and clean. Verona was extremely prompt with communication and very friendly. Very convenient location to the centre and had space for parking our rental car.

Lovely individual fale inspired rooms. Plenty of space. Very quiet. Kids loved the pools. Very tasty Sunday to'ona'i with large selection of traditional and modern Samoan foods.

We had a family group stay, the fales were lovely and clean, the staff were great. The kiddies enjoyed the pools, On the Sunday we enjoyed the popular To'onai lunch.

Simple but clean hotel. Staff at reception very friendly. The service to and from airport is great. Recommended if you have a very early flight. You will be at the airport in 5 minutes.

If you pay attention to the name, then you will be in the right mindset to stay at the Transit Hotel.

We didn't stay here but we did have lunch at the restaurant, which is only open for breakfast and lunch. The kitchen closes at 2pm, there is a well stocked bar and plenty of on-street free parking.

I stayed in 2 different rooms during my trip. Rooms were extremely clean but a little run down. Breakfast is simple but adequate. The best feature of this hotel is its staff.

Had a great week stay here in Aug 2023. Very friendly host, great ocean vibes, clean rooms and great walking distance to local shops and city sites. Would recommend a stay here.

We had a great stay at the cottages. The location was peaceful, the beds comfortable and cottage clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
