Apia-Fagali Hotels

This was our first stop on a 2 week holiday in Samoa. What a great place to start. Conveniently located close to Apia for shopping. Food was a bit hit and miss though.

Me and my family were here for a 3 night stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had lost my crossbody bag second day we were there. We searched everywhere.

The Outrigger was the perfect hotel for our stay in Apia! It has a central location with many nice restaurants nearby. The building is very beautiful and the surrounding gardens are really lovely.

Great service by the owner! We were provided with everything we needed including special requests which were amazingly managed by the owner.

Quiet except for the roosters, great pool, super home cooked breakfasts I can't say enough. But the best thing is the owners and staff, who treat you like family.

My 5 star is for staff. Very kind and helpful staff. Upu and her workmates are amazing. Rooms were good. Location is great. Breakfast is decent. Enough options to start your day.

I've stayed at Lava Hotel several times now, and every visit has been exceptional.

Spoke to the owner. I have my own lodge. She was great and understanding of the feedback.
Rooms are clean and well equipped, AC is good as is the Wi-Fi.

I had the pleasure of staying at White House Hotel Samoa, checking in on the 4th of April, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and beautiful welcome by reception.

This hotel has such grade A customer service. I have been having so many issues with Expedia and they have been more than accommodating.

Clean, quiet, and conveniently located—ideal for families and solo travelers. Close to town yet a peaceful retreat. Car rental is right next door (Taumeasina Rentals) — RAV4 for $130 per day.

Wow! We (family of 4) absolutely loved our time at Samoana. We stayed there for 8 nights. Our room was spacious, fresh, clean with a great bathroom and large shower.

If you want an unassuming, but relaxing stay, then give Vaea Hotel a go. Family owned and run, very welcoming and helpful.

If you're like us and can't stomach the prices of the resorts but also can't quite face slumming it in a hostel, hotel Vaea is the perfect option!

Stayed here with my Partner and had an amazing time. Location was perfect, Savalalo Market and the bus depot was within walking distance from the hotel as well as other retail stores.

Highly recommend this place for families, couples, or groups of friends. It is a clean, safe, and welcoming hotel.

Such a beautiful spot, with views across the rainforest all the way out to the ocean. The host was so lovely and welcoming, and nothing was too much of a burden.

Amazing view from the giungle on the ocean. Located 20 min by car from Apia, but really good if you want discover all the Island. You need to rent a car before.

Coffee today = superb. Brought a group in for coffee-to-go. Quick and efficient team this morning and very helpful.

Awesome location, walking distance to market. Pool was amazing clean everyday and staff was so helpful helped take all our stuff on arrival to our room when we arrived… Definitely be back.

Cozy little place in a nice area of Apia, great for solo travellers.

Quiet, very friendly accommodation short walk to the city center. The kitchen you can use has literally commercial level kit with a sweet dining area.

Always a great experience staying here. Best Fia Fia night in Samoa. Their Island Grill Night is also great. The rooms are spacious, large beds and the outdoor shower is stunning.

I stayed in the Sheraton for about five days. I traveled from out of country and there were a few things about the room that caught me a little off guard and were not explained at the front desk.

We had a wonderful time in Samoa. Visiting and touring this island was truly eye-opening.

I tried both the studio and the cabin, and I loved staying here. Very charming and green guesthouse, homemade breakfast with fresh coffee and fruits, and the most lovely staff.

Apaula Heights Lounge is a great place to experience real Samoan hospitality. I loved my stay there. The hosts are very hospitable, breakfast is diverse and delicious.

We came here as our plane was cancelled. I was amazed how welcoming and friendly the staff were with us arriving at short notice. Starting with the fabulous assistance from Mandy!

Location is just Great.
Situated in the heart of Apia, making it convenient for accessing the town's center, markets (Fugalei Fresh Produce Market and Flea Market are nearby), shops, and restaurants.

I picked here for is location AND it's advertised Wi-Fi service.
Alas no Wi-Fi — Reception informs me their Wi-Fi has been down 2 weeks — had I been notified I'd have stayed elsewhere.

Good service, room according to the photos, clean, the pool is small buy still ok, in general a really good place.

Great place. You get what you pay for and I am happy.
The buffet breakfast is an awesome way to start the day.

We had the pleasure of staying at Laimoa in September 2025 as a family of five, and it was a wonderful experience.

The rooms are okay, but the Wi-Fi internet is only available at the reception room.

Stayed in a top floor room for a few weeks and overall had a very positive experience. There were a few minor issues with the room initially, but they were addressed quickly by the staff.

I stayed on and off for a few weeks here. A top floor room. Room spacious, kitchenette well equipped. A couple of things in my room had issues during my stay but they fixed them quickly.

Stayed thre for 4 nights and my brother stayed thre for 1 week, loved the rooms, the service.

Accommodation was nice and clean. Verona was extremely prompt with communication and very friendly. Very convenient location to the centre and had space for parking our rental car.
