We checked in on Friday July 29th and stayed at one of your gorgeous Beach Front Villas Room 129 for the week end. Friendly staff, the meals were above my expectation, the room’s was awesome. We even had the owner sat down for 10mins with us and had a conversation which you don’t normally find this in many hotels. Great place to be for a week end away, waking up to see the ocean, beautiful landscape and there Sunday to’onai buffet was to die for👍 were some highlights of our stay. Overall experience was great we are definitely coming back in November 👏👏👏👏

Have just returned from a wonderful 7 day stay at Saletoga Sands. The resort and gardens are beautiful, the staff super friendly and helpful & the food excellent. The lagoon just in front is lovely for swimming and snorkeling at any tide — we hardly used the pool!

If you want to be looked after in a beautiful location by fantastic staff… this is the place to go.

Awesome place with lovely hosts Gav and Lou. Well trained staff, good food and well maintained villas. Highly recommended for family holiday/gatherings. Customer service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Saletoga for a great staycation and we’ll be back again!

I’ve only had great experiences staying at Saletoga and can’t recommend this place enough. It’s well maintained and the staff are really helpful. Very accomodating and reasonably priced at well. The pool is fantastic for a family retreat and also highly recommend the beach front accommodations. Definitely my go to place when returning home.

The best designed, landscaped and well maintained resort on island. Also has the best service, easy booking, no hassle check in and check out, accommodating staff and seamless stay. Rooms are great, beach and pool both great for kids. I have stayed there many many times and each time has been a wonderful experience. Definitely my favourite resort on island so far.

Dora and the Saletoga dream team truly made my Dad and Grandmas birthday dinner tonight a magical success! The service right from the start has been so great, they listened to our needs and were accommodating even to our last minute requests. Cannot Thank them enough for all their hard work and effort they put into tonight. The decorations, the cakes — 100/10! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Villy and the team are always topnotch with service and you feel like you're in a second home. Memorable time as I proposed there over the weekend, too. Lou and Gav are awesome hosts. Amazing food. Recommend the NZ Lamb rack and the steak. Pizzas are awesome too … thanks again Saletoga Sands.

If I was a millionaire, I would stay here my whole life 😩😁, The beautiful villas, satisfying view of the sunset, clean environment the love and respect from the staffs with their great services all these goes perfectly with their delicious food 🥰🥰 and my favourite 🤩🤩 A late night swim in their clean and warm pool 💦. Well🤷🏻‍♀️ seeing is believing if you haven’t been here, so I highly recommend Saletoga, ❤️❤️

The Place is just magnificent. The best view with spacious lodges & to top it off the hospitable service shown. They were generous & always checking up on us 24/7. Dinner and Breakfast was just Delightful! Loved it there!

Resort and location are amazing couldn’t and wouldn’t ask for more. Room was great we had 5 in our family room. 2 adults and 3 late teens with plenty of room. Staff we’re equal amazing, helpful, friendly, and willing to meet our every need or want and to meet the owns who interacted with all the guests was a first for me. You can tell the Gavin n Lou love what they do and there staff. We had issues with Samoa closing it’s boarder and fights canceled due to COVID-19 but Sams Contacts and came through with the info we needed to get us home just in time. Food was great with a wide variety, kids loved the curly fry’s. Hired a van and scooter through the resort and had a blast travelling around the islands hot spots. Can’t wait to return.

Had the most amazing holiday staff and accommodation fantastic couldn’t recommend highly enough. Reception staff so helpful in helping us arrange flights home as well as our travel agent. Resort even offered us accommodation at a huge reduction if we couldn’t leave due to Samoa closing it’s border and virgin cancelling our flight. Will go back in a heartbeat when all this craziness ends.

Loved everything about it. So peaceful and beautiful. Could stay there weeks. Only negative thing I have is the breakfast. The rooms cost a fair bit so least ye could do is throw a few bacon and eggs for the breakfast included. Majority of guests I spoke to while there all said the same. But other than than loved it.

The people were beautiful and the culture was incredible. I would recommend the resort as well as Samoa to anyone!

Lovely staff make your stay so enjoyable.

This is the first resort I’ve been to in Samoa and I must say you guys have really set the bar high! Absolutely gorgeous hotel, suitable for those who appreciate a little more privacy. The workers are very welcoming and genuine. We didn’t have any problems as such, aside from the fact that we didn’t have a table set up on fiafia night even though I’ve requested it, however, this was quickly resolved by the lovely staff. On another note, I highly recommend booking in their Jetty Dinner for either a special occasion or if you would prefer an isolated dinner with a breathtaking view. All in all, this resort has it all. Prices are decent with regards to food and their buffet options are quite extensive. My only hope is for everyone to experience the magic of Saletoga Sands Resort. If I could write everything I loved about this resort, I would be writing all day! ♥️♥️♥️ Also, a special shout out to Dora and Villy for honoring my ever changing requests regarding my bookings, I really appreciate it! And thank you to our waitress (sorry I didn’t catch your name) and the rest of the amazing staff. We will definitely be back!

Best resort in Samoa! We were so well looked after, felt like a part of the Saletoga Family during our holiday. The bungalows are all very spacious and each having a lovely outlook to enjoy, plenty of things on if you like having lots of things to explore, but equally relaxing sitting poolside if all you want to do is chill out. The team at Saletoga Sands go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience with them, we couldn't recommend this resort highly enough!

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Loved the fire dance night, amd couldnt ask for a nicer outlook from the rooms both garden and beachfront. Great that you have UV filtered water stations for free use. Only thing I'd love is a simple washing line outside each hut to dry wet togs and towels. Fantastic spot to stay if planning trips to To Sua Trench and down to Namua Island for the Turtles.

The resort is beautiful, the view is amazing, lots of activities. Well priced for what you get.
The staff however are the selling point, I spent a week there and became like family. I’ve always worked in customer service so I understand but they amazed me. Senior members of management, owners, housekeepers, gardeners, chefs, bar staff everyone was there to help and make you have the best time! Thank you for a week of bliss my saletoga family!

Saletoga sands is breathtaking. The staff are gorgeous & happy, the rooms are large & comfortable, falling asleep to just the sounds of the waves is heaven. I have had the best 10 days here. I highly recommend this place.

So many sights to see and beaches to snorkel at, and the resort is a haven amongst it all. Great food, awesome staff and a fabulous location. Love. Love.

The hardest part was saying goodbye! Loved this family holiday so much. We celebrated my mother in laws 60th birthday with a private jetty dinner. The food and staff were 100% perfect. A much longer and glowing TripAdvisor review to follow.

Had the best family holiday resort is amazing, staff are so friendly and helpful. Beach /pool and swim up bar are spectacular. Would so recommend this resort to others and will definitely be back.

We came to have lunch, but instantly fell in love with the place and friendly staff, we decided to stay the night. Lusi and team were so amazing, we felt so relaxed and well taken care of. The resort, food, pool, view is amazing. The lady at "The Landing", Upu, she was the best, smiled, sang, laughed and even rapped for us. We will be back. Thank you Lusi and staff of Saletoga. Fabulous resort. Genuinely Friendly staff. Great rooms. Super beach and snorkeling. Superb food at restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days there.

Saletoga Sands has amazing accommodation, restaurant, beach and very impressive customer service. We arrived on Wednesday night just in time for the fiu fiu show. The food was the most impressive array I have seen in any resort. The show won best performance in 2017 and 2018. The facilities here are beyond reproach. The pool has a shallow end for little kids, a deep end for the big kids, but more importantly it has a bar placed in the pool for adults! There is a special Pier for romantic dinners or engagements, even weddings. You can hire a scooter for only $50 per day, the bar staff are happy to help you with anything. Very impressed!

Thank you to the amazing staff for welcoming us to your beautiful country and resort! My family loved every moment. It was so special to see my Dad's birthplace, the resort was stunning in every way, and it was a cool experience exploring Samoa and its little treasures! The tours were very fun yet also informative and eye-opening. Lovely staff at the resort who always said hi, were always so friendly and accommodating, and were always doing their bit to help maintain the beautiful maintenance of the resort. The food and drink was great! We loved the Fiafia night, awesome to have such a large and engaging crowd, and such a fun celebration with a lot of time, effort, and love clearly put into it by everyone involved. All up it was my favourite holiday ever, and made my first time overseas so easy to do! Would absolutely love to visit again ❤️

Beautiful place, fantastic friendly staff and owners, loved our time there. Right on the beach, luxury. Great food, fresh. Days by the pool/sea/snorkelling/fishing. The Samoa Cultural dinner was spectacular, with a display of traditional dancing and amazing fire dancing, Samoans love to share their culture and we loved every minute.

Great resort. Really nice grounds. Fantastic Fiafia night cultural show. Service could be better, but staff is super friendly and lovely.

Lovely resort and beach friendly team and good food.

Beautiful accomodation and the food is fresh from the pacific ocean every day. Free kayak and snorkelling gear for hire to explore the turquoise paradise on your doorstep. With a very diverse marine population you'll see a different species of fish everyday. Beyond the protected reef is some pretty gnarly break waves unless you are an advanced surfer I would not advise surfing beyond Saletoga's protected reef.

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay if you want to have a relaxing romantic or family holiday. The fales are just lovely — spacious, clean, well appointed, comfy beds, large and airy — all you could want. The resort itself is impeccable. It is tidy, clean, smart, lush, well maintained and well staffed. The staff could not do enough for us — they were happy, honest and very friendly. The beach is just lovely, ocean water is like a bath with great snorkeling, lots of lovely fish and the coral starting to regrow. Great having paddle boards, snorkeling gear and kayaks to use free of charge, as well as towels for the pool/beach. The pool was beautiful, with lots of comfy sun chairs to lounge on and the swim up bar was a bonus. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Great cocktails and cold beers, with a bonus having happy hour each night making the drinks much cheaper. Make sure you visit on a Weds night, Cultural Evening, beautiful local food buffet and cultural show. The cultural group have won the 2018 Samoan Awards for best cultural performance — they are great! We loved it so much we are going to return with our family. Thank you so much everyone at Saletoga. We loved our holiday!

Relaxing and friendly. Great beaches and rooms.

The good: very beautiful location, well-built bungalows, pool and beach were very picturesque and service by the pool and bell-hop was excellent. The bad: AC-unit in our bungalow was too small to handle the square-footage of the room, therefore it was too hot and uncomfortable at night especially during the hot-season. The restaurant staff was very unprofessional in their manners and did not practice basic customer service ; for example 1. The staff was busy conversing and laughing out loud in front of the customers within the restaurant 2. We had to walk to the bar in order to get our own water and drinks for our table, the waiters did not come by once to ask for refills or ask if we needed to order anything else. 3. There were numerous flies swarming in the restaurant especially during the hot season, making it hard to eat. 4. The menu has 5-pages of lunch and 1-for dinner and only offering a small variety of choices of meats, if u are vegetation there are definitely more choices for you. Overall the staff could use a class on basic hotel customer etiquette as most of them do not smile or say the basic greeting of the day when passing by, although the bell-hop at the front of the hotel was very friendly. Just a suggestion but if there were more trained-managers and classes offered to the local staff — this would definetly enhance the overall experience of the hotel or take a book out of the 2-excellent staff members that work at the pool.

The staff! The location! Marine life! A beautiful friendly exotic wonderful experience. The staff are above and beyond. The only mistake you could make is not staying here. Little fish swim around you in the clear warm water. Great for couples and families.

Beach bungalows and resort accommodation. Room 128 an older bungalow and if over 6'1 you would struggle in bathroom. Could do with a lick of paint. Other bungalows bigger and same pitch roof. More shade on front would be good. Staff friendly and helpful. Some language barriers but easily sorted. Small shop with some food and nic nacs. Resteraunts good but pricey. Great pool with shade. Transport to sights at 150 tala. Wifi very expensive, we got spark roaming and wasn't great.

The hotel itself is a really nice place: pretty (and spacious) rooms, nice pool area (although 20 sun chairs for 25 hotel rooms result in people lacking chairs) and overall a beautiful location. The food was delicious (we loved the daily special). However: staff-related, I cannot give a good rating at all. The service we encountered on a daily basis (and we did stay there for 4 days! ) was in the best case friendly but SLOW, in some cases however just unmotivated and incredibly inattentive, once even rude… some examples: — we were not helped with our bags at check-in, instead the numerous staff saw us carrying everything from the carpark to the lobby w/o a greeting or an offer to help, only to direct us back to the car to put our stuff there 2 min. Later because the room wasn't ready — when we could finally check in almost 40 min. After the room should have been ready, we were not given a room key. Instead the guy told us "there is no key, I come back". He never came back. When I called the reception later to ask about the mysterious key, they said they would come. They didn't. I called a 2nd time after some waiting. They had forgotten about it already! Again we waited and nothing happened. Finally, I went to the reception in person and asked to get that key because we weren't able to leave the room w/o it! Only then would they run around and start rummaging for this key… only to find out: it didn't exist. The last guest must have taken it with him (!

We had a wonderful time at Saletoga Sand Resort. We will be back and definitely recommend. Perfect paradise…

My family and I stayed at the Saletoga Sands resort in July 2017. It's a small resort. My brother and I stayed in room 129 and it was right at the water front, the room was lovely and modern, however the shower most of the time would either go too hot or too cold no in between. My sister and her 2 children stayed in room 126, it had an upstairs with a balcony, it was a bit run down and there were untold of those gecko lizards in there. I was glad it wasn't my place but my sister and her kids liked the geckos so they were not bothered. My mother and father stayed in a modern room 203 was nice and spacious. It wasn't a beachfront bungalow but wasn't far to walk. The scenery and surroundings at this resort were absolutely beautiful the plants and flowers looked increable. They had Wi-Fi cards you could buy at reception $20 tala would give you 2hours but I think it rounded it to 15minutes each time I logged in. They had 2 restaurants. Our waitress Jane was amazing and the service she provided made us want to come back every night. We had contential breakfast each morning and there was so much to choose from it was delightful. The meals were average, they werent bad by any means but just didnt WOW me. My nieces both got a few hair braids with beads which they loved. They had a kids club which went for 2 hours a day 10-12pm and my neices loved it. They liked the crab hunting.

Good range of great food and fair prices. Awesome location. Friendly staff. I left something in our room and they happily delivered it to another resort for me. Recommended!

Beautiful resort right on the beach. Wonderful staff and stunning location. We loved the swim up bar with happy hour, perfect! Great wedding location, and the garden is meticulously planned and maintained. Cottages have an outdoor shower.

My partner and I had an excellent holiday at Saletoga sands. From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the day we (sadly) left we were blown away by the quality, cleanliness and beauty of the resort. The day tours, kindly organised by Calvin from the resort were excellent — we saw a culture and side of Samoa that we did not expect to experience and our trip was richer for it. Not enough can be said about the resort itself — the website really doesn't do the resort justice. All the rooms are exceedingly close to the beach and the pool, the entire resort is nestled in a idyllic corner of Samoa. We didn't have any problems being a little farther away from the main center thanks to the convenient shuttle service run by Pati. I could go on but overall if you are considering an island holiday anywhere, most of all Samoa — you absolutely cannot pass up the opportunity to come to the beautiful Saletoga Sands. A big thanks to all the team from Sam and Salena :).

The birthday cake after dinner was a touching moment, thankyou Costar and staff. Our beach front room was spacious, clean and luxuriant. The fittings and finishing of the rooms were second to none. The air conditioning and the outside shower topped things off. We'll be returning with our children and family. Our g/kids will love the pool and safe play areas and the way the beach and open area's were constantly cleaned. It was a shame that our holiday had to come to and end.
