We came to Midgard as day visitors. What a wonderful experience to walk around and see the fantastic bird life.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Took my family there for a weekend getaway… best experience ever! … I love that the place is family friendly so I feel safe concerned my kids…
Food was the best I've had in a long time!

Very good location near the airport with efficient shuttle service (for a fee). Good breakfast and great dinner. Room was large and clean.

Good place to stay near the airport if you do not want stay in Windhoek. Just a short distance from airport. Taxi costs 200 Rand.

Hotel is on the outskirts of Windhoek near a mall, with limited nearby dining options. Rooms are cramped but ok. Check in is a bit slow and they’re strict on the check in time.

Friendly people all round and a great restaurant for breakfast. I like it!

I stayed here for a few days at the start of a trip around Namibia and Botswana. It was very nice. I chose this place because it offers horse riding and the horse I rode was very well trained.

The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The dormitry will need just a bit of extra attention in cleanliness. But overall everything was.

This place exceeded my expectations in every way. Starting from the service, the accommodations, breakfast, etc. Everything was perfect!

I enjoyed my 1 day stay at Tate Village. The staff was very kind, helpful and patient with me. The room was very nice and they even provided a fan for me which I greatly appreciate.

Really appreciated the late check-in approval from Tate Village.
I checked in at 5am and had a few hours to rest before check-0ut at 11am.

Clean, secure and comfortable.

This little gem is right near the Hotel school, about five minutes away walking. So great location for meals and you can eat meals prepared by the students or the cooks. Very reasonable.

A lovely cosy guesthouse with a very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, squeaky clean, and lovely. It has a fridge, AC, TV with netflix, and coffee corner.

I was looking for a place to stay, and a friend took me to this place Villa Moring Guesthouse. I stayed three good nights. The room rate is $40 per night including breakfast.

The welcoming was mind blowing, room are very spacious and clean. It’s near to the City Centre. I would most def come over and over again and would suggest to anyone travelling to Namibia.

I was suppose to stay a 3 night at Klein Windhoek Guest House. The few minutes I stayed, I was at peace. Too bad I never got to stay.

Great place very well located, nice rooms, great food and overall service, cool ambiance with large screens at the restaurant what else can you hope for? Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience at the Mercure Hotel Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was met with warmth and professionalism.

Nice location and very nice food, beautifully presented. Very warm welcome but since day 2 you could feel that there was a change amongst the staff.

Little Forest Garden Retreat is a true hidden oasis in the capital of Namibia.

We arrived in the evening. There is an restaurant in the hotel. The menu was a bit limited but meat dishes were quite good.
The place is quiet. Room is very clean. Good night sleep.

The staff is very professional and friendly and the the meals are world class.

Spent 5 nights here with a friend, and it was a really cosy guesthouse, and I felt at home. The breakfast and food was great and it felt like eating a nice homemade meal.

We stayed in this Guesthouse in September, it was honestly amazing. It was hour first night in Namibia and we had an amazing welcome!

Great place, the service isn't bad despite that most staffs are interns.
And it's in the middle of the CBD giving its visitors access to most of the services they will need.

Nice place, with a good absolute standard at affordable prices. The inner court is a very nice calm location to spend time alone and in groups.

Posh location, standard fare. I visited for an official meeting. The setting is similar to River Crossing (high vantage point) but located in the upscale Klein Windhoek area.

I booked 4 nights at Hotel Thule to give myself time to reset after a busy time in South Africa. The hotel location was great with a nice city view from many of the rooms.

We have often stayed here as the first or last accommodation on our trips to Namibia and feel completely at home. Friendly staff, clean rooms, cool pool, good location, and fair prices.

Nice guesthouse to relax at after a long flight.
Thé rooms are a little older but good Quality beds and they are Well taken Care of.

Lovely place, warm welcome with lots of helpful info. If you're just arriving in Namibia there is an MTC store very close, and you can skip the long que at the airport.

I booked this on recommendation from my 4WD Hire Company, and I'm fact it exceeded expectations!

It is a really nice place to stay at. The room was big, offered everything we need. There was a nice bed and good working AC for example.

We stayed there in July 2025 for one night with our family. The lodge is located ideally when you’re heading further north. The owners and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is extraordinary.

What a wonderful find! We had just spent a week roughing it in southern Namibia and I almost cried with relief when we walked in. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking Windhoek.

Felsenblick is a top-quality guesthouse located in a quiet part of Klein Windhoek with a nice view at the nearby hill. The guesthouse is family owned & managed and offers 2 self-catering apartments.

Ramblers Self Catering exceeded our expectations! Spacious, clean,, safe accommodation at an affordable price! Only the noise from the nearby road starting from 5:30 is a bit disturbing!

Totally works! Really good value for the price. It was clean, showers hot and the kitchen is functional. Also you get your own private fridge in the room and enough storage space.

Good option for short stop over in Windhoek. Friendly & helpful staff. Nice room & altho small the grounds are well laid out & the pool a welcome relief from the heat!

We booked just one night as we were returning to London the next day. We realised within minutes of arriving that we had made a big mistake! We wanted to stay atleast three nights!
