Wadi Musa's streets are quite narrow, steep, and often crowded, so leaving a rental car along the curb runs a real risk of minor scrapes and bumps. Having a dedicated hotel parking lot saves you the headache of circling for a spot, though spaces can fill up fast in the evening. Skim through the property details to check their parking rules and whether they have an off-street yard.

The Petra Lion Hotel is an absolutely amazing place to stay at. Their prices are very cheap and the room comes with an AC and everything else one wishes for.
One if the most hospitable families I have ever met in many years of travelling. Highly recommend staying here during your time in petra.
If you are the kind of traveller that likes the real local experience, this is THE place!

"My experience at Juniper House Apartments was fantastic! The location is excellent, situated in a quiet area yet close to key services and attractions.

The best view to the mountains. Like you’re in the sky!
The hospitality is so generous, you feel like home.
Mr. Ahmad the host was a great guy and very friendly making you feel like a member of his family. The Villa is a luxurious 10 stars Villa and the view is breath taking and super clean.
Amazing experience, Brother Ahmed is a brilliant host. He made our visit better than it could have been. Will surely stay at this place next time. Highly Recommended.

We so thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights we spent with Mamoud and Valeria. They are the most lovely hosts. On our arrival night, we opted to do the dinner add-on.
Petra farmhouse was most definitely one of our favourite stays in Jordan. It was extremely clean and the owners were very lovely, welcoming and helpful and we felt at home there.
Petra Farmhouse is a perfect place to stay if you have a car and want to be a little bit away from the hectic downtown area.
I’m giving this Hotel 5 stars because of Mo’men. He went above and beyond making us feel at home in his hotel. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us delicious food for breakfast and dinner.
Moumen, the owner welcomed by family and took such good care of us!
He met us upon arrival and helped bring our luggage into the hotel and led us to a large family size room which had a king size bed
We had a fantastic stay at Twilight Hotel — Moumen’s place really felt more like a home than a hotel. The rooms were big, super clean, and had everything we needed for a comfy stay.
Exploring the ancient wonders of the region is now simpler and more economical. This establishment provides a retreat close to the iconic archaeological site, prioritizing value and ease of access.

Our stay at Petra Guest House was truly unforgettable. The hotel offers a unique experience where ancient history beautifully meets modern comfort.
I had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza Petra. The hotel is very clean and feels quite new as it was open only in January 2026, which made the experience even more comfortable.
Staying at this brand new hotel was experience almost as unforgettable as visiting Petra. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for.

This hostel is clearly 5 may be 7 minutes at the most walked this thing to me also entrance of Petra. There's a big room with small boxes where you sleep. I guess it's called japanese style.
Very good Hostel for a good price. The beds, the bathrooms and the common areas are very clean! They provide breakfast, dinner and also a lunchbox which is very practical for your hike to petra!
Most of the rooms are Japanese like 'cabins', ie a sleeping place with ceilings about 1.5 metres high. Nice and cheap and a lot of people using it for a low cost stay.
We highly recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely cooperative, demonstrated excellent manners, and was supportive, particularly Ms. Philippine.
Our stay at Rakan Apt was exceptional! The staff was friendly, and the room was beyond comfortable.
It is good hotel with stunning view of the Petra city. Also staff was great and well supportive.
If you wanna ask to Petra visitor centre I would say 15min walk.

Amazing stay. The place was excellent, both the location and the structure were perfect. What truly surprised us was Mohammad’s family hospitality. It was incredibly warm and genuine.
The family Is very kind and their hospitality was great. My family (italian couple with three Little daughters) was there for two nights.

Very nice hotel above expectations. Very clean, very friendly staff. Hard to find tho, but once found all great, there is parking in front.
My whole experience about Sultan home is super positive. We booked a double room unit with ensuited bathroom and kitchen, which was clean, equipped with brand new furniture.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing experience! The place is clean, well-organized, and has a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly, professional, and very welcoming. Everything was smooth and well-managed.

If you want to feel like part of a family, you should stay with Zyad. The room is very nice, modern, tidy, and clean, equipped with everything you need (but bring your own towels).
I had a wonderful night at this place! Super well situated in the downtown of Petra, everything is super convenient, pretty and clean.
Highly recommended!
Very convenient location. 5min drive to Petra and lots of food options within 1 min walk. The host is great and very good communication.
A little background…
My wife and I decided for a trip of our lifetime in our late 70's, 2023. Marjorie found our resting places online, we made all the other travel arrangements online as well.
4 of us stayed for 1 night. Clean guests house. We arrived tired and late, we arranged food to be delivered to the home by the staff.
Very nice hotel. Clean and accommodating. Staff was really Great, personable, professional and 1st class service. Nice buffet dinner and breakfast. Near Petra, easy to get around.
Good clean rooms, even by American standards. It's a hostel so you share a bathroom with others. Manager seemed friendly and professional and spoke English.
We stayed there for 2 nights, wanted to have a good "base camp" to sight see Petra but a bit farther from the "main gate" to avoid crowds coming in & out of Petra.
A lovely, clean, and welcoming place to stay with a great breakfast. It’s a family-run business, and Sami and his father were extremely accommodating and attentive.
The price was adequate for the standard but it was quiet good — clean, many blankets, original design, wonderful terrace view. The breakfast was great, we were one night but we spent good time!
We had a lovely stay at beautiful homey hotel. It had a roof terrace which was the perfect spot to watch the sunset across the valley. Great communication with host and free on site parking.

Great sunset views from the rooftop bar at this hotel. I stayed at the petra sella hotel but I could use the lounge on the roof of this hotel. The views are superb.
I had a fantastic stay at Tetra Tree Hotel in Petra. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great value for money.
Great location, very close to Petra visitor center. Good food, amazing rooftop and staff is very nice and friendly. Also the room are very clean.
Wonderful quiet place to stay in Wadi Rum. The owners were warm and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the shower was great.
An elegant place, reasonable prices, wonderful views. I tried this hostel and thank them for their great respect.
Fantastic place to stay while in Wadi Musa. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is super complete and the host, Mohamed, is very welcoming and kind. We had dinner in and it was mouthwatering.

Owner is very friendly. Accessible by car, parking available. Thank you!
Very comfortable rooms. Very clean! I arrived at around 10pm with no reservation and the owner was very welcoming.
Mohd is truly the heart of this place. From the moment you arrive, you can feel how much he cares about making sure every guest has a great experience.
A wonderful stay in a beautiful location close to everything.
The price offers great value for money, and parking is available.
I highly recommend this hotel.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel and I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
I recently stayed at Petra Palace Hotel in Wadi Musa, and once again it proved why it remains one of the most practical and comfortable choices for visiting Petra.
The biggest advantage? Location.
Nice hotel in a perfect location to walk to Petra. The staff was lovely and helpful, we could print there! A vast choice during the breakfast buffet and lovely chefs who made omelette.
Stayed in the off season (November).
Twin rooms were ~55 JOD per night. B&B.
Great location, breakfast was fine.
Pool was cold, as expected.
Staff friendly and spoke English.
