I am traveling with a tour group and was booked at this hotel. It is the perfect spot to be for touring Petra. The hotel is clean and inviting. The staff friendly and the food tasty.

Petra is everyone’s dream place to visit. There are some very good options to stay in Petra right outside the archeological site.

When we arrived the security man told us the Grand Mercure is CLOSED for MAJOR renovation.
He was helpful, but his English wasn't very good.

Stayed there 3D2N as solo traveller for Petra, spent wonderful time there with other guests, got invited by to a Bedouin wedding, had wonderful conversation with the owner till midnight.

Although it's been a long time I did not go there the legendary memories prevent me from forgetting any detail, the rooms come with beds to sleep since it is not meant to stay the whole day, the view
