Aviod this hostel. Very disappointing experience. The toilet and bathroom are shared, which was not clearly communicated. The bed linen was full of hair and stains, and it looked like it had not been changed for a long time.
Breakfast is intentionally served only at 8:30 AM, knowing that most guests leave very early to visit Petra, so people end up missing it. This feels like a way to save money by avoiding serving breakfast at all.
The bathroom and toilet are completely neglected and dirty, and the drain does not work properly. Hygiene standards are very poor.
I do not recommend this place.

Great stay for a very reasonable price!
I stayed at this hotel for a few days, and the experience was more than excellent. The service was outstanding in every way—the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Cleanliness was evident in both the rooms and shared facilities, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and safe.
Despite the low cost, I never felt like I had to compromise on quality or comfort. A perfect place for budget travelers that offers a level of service that rivals some hotels. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay without sacrificing quality.

The stay at this hotel was very disappointing. First of all, the sheets are the same as those of previous guests, which could lead to illness, not to mention how disgusting it is. We warned the hotel owner that we saw a mouse and cockroaches walking around the breakfast room, and the owner told us that he could change the name of the hotel if we received bad reviews on Booking (a kind of threat). In order not to ruin our vacation, we ran away from this hotel. We lost our money but gained dignity. Run away from this hotel. There are groups on social media where people share opinions and experiences in hotels, and there are several people who are disappointed with this hotel. Check them out and see for yourself. The name of the hotel may have changed (as he says), but the address is the same, so be careful.

This is a great place near Petra. The staff always help you with your doubts and recommend great activities around the city. They have a terrace with amazing view of the city.

Travelled here with two of my cousins, Mohammed was kind and very welcoming, he made sure our stay was comfortable and provided anything we asked for. Hotel is located 30 mins walking distant to the Petra entrance which is why we chose this hotel. Local shops and pharmacy available nearby. Mohammed also arranged a local bus to collect us from the hotel to arrive in Amman in the afternoon as the alternative coach was only available quite late in the afternoon. I would choose to stay here again if I visited Petra, it is reasonably priced and staff were friendly too.

We had a great time at Raqeem Hotel! We definitely recommend! If we come back to Wadi Musa, we will definitely stay at this place. What we loved the most, was very helpful and kind stuff — especially Mohammed. He was really nice.

Mohammed, the host is really the nicest Guy we met in all of Jordan.
He helped is with any question we had and Came to sit with us in the evening.
We were really glad to meet him.
The rooms and especially the bathroom however could use a renovation. And the windows need to be washed. The water doesnt flow away which turns the bathroom into a pool.
Mohammed also fixed this issue for us.
Overall excellent money / quality given the location and the host.

The rooms, while on the smaller side, are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They provide everything needed for a restful night’s sleep. However, the true highlight of the property is the rooftop terrace. With its stunning views, it is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and take in the beautiful surroundings. Whether enjoying a cup of tea in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the terrace offers a peaceful and scenic escape.
Breakfast at the hotel is simple but satisfying. While not overly fancy, it provides a good selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Guests can enjoy a variety of local and international choices, ensuring there is something for everyone.

The manager is a hypocrite, ‼️‼️🤮🤢dishonest and incapable of solving problems. If you come to this hotel, you will be asked to change rooms after checking in. We agreed to move and then he pushed us further, telling us that there were no rooms and kicked us out. We took a taxi to this hotel and asked the boss to send us to another hotel. The boss said that our hotel had no car and was unwilling to bear the cost of the mistake of no room (we just needed to be sent to another hotel with rooms we found), and told us that there was a car to take us to the entrance of the scenic spot for free when we did not check in❗️⚠️If you want a stay that does not waste time and mood, please do not choose this hotel and avoid this manager. Everything I said is true and not exaggerated. Please look forward to the store owner's quibbling.

We had an amazing experience here! We had a large group (about 25 people) and we were able to stay in comfortable rooms with a very affordable price. The location is close to Petra and lots of nice shops and restaurants. Mohammed prepared an amazing Jordanian dinner for us on the rooftop and he was so hospitable. One of our group members accidentally left her camera and he found it and drove it all the way to Amman to give it back to us! Would highly recommend this place.

Positive experience with staying at this hostel in a big group. We had 26 people total including children and they had rooms that accommodated all of us for a good price! They even offered dinner which was delicious and affordable. Rooms were clean but bathrooms were just a bit worn but usable!

We booked a room for one night. After we got the keys from the reception, we took the lift as our room was on the fourth floor, and the lift was in very bad condition. It felt like it could break down any second, and the lift door sensor was terrible. When we reached our room, the floors were not clean. They switched off the ac without permission, and had to go to the power generator to switch on the ac. The bed was still fine, but it had dust on it. The tableside lamps were not working, we checked the battery and there was only one battery inside. Our washroom was OUTSIDE our room, and it was not clean. Soap was not provided in the washroom. In addition, there was NO handle in the washroom. We asked the owner to give us another bathroom, and there was no handle in that bathroom either.
Because of this, I accidentally locked myself in the washroom, and had to stay there for ONE HOUR!
Otherwise, the location was fine. The food in the hostel is very pricey, so don't eat anything from the hostel and instead, eat from nearby restaurants. They are way better than the hostel food.
Do not book this hotel.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and taking care of us like nowhere else in all of Jordan. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if they are going to visit Petre, or even if they just want to stay overnight because nowhere else was anyone as helpful and fine as here.

Blocked bathrooms, Dusty bed with used bed sheets. Giving 2 stars because they changed the bedsheets after our complaints. But bathrooms were clogged.

Good location within walking distance to a pretty convenient free parking lot, which is very important in this part of town in my opinion, friendly staff, not expensive but also not clean enough in the room, overall ok for one night if not too picky.

Very cozy little hostel, Humble yet tasty falafel breakfast. Plus the receptionist (Abraham) goes above and beyond for you so you have the least amount of speed bumps on your trip!

Mohammed was a super host for us! The place was super nice and he was super helpful, readily available and kind.
