Not sure there's much "premium" about this hotel. The rooms and furniture exhibit signs of aging, despite being quite comfy.

Great breakfast with enormous food selection. Great baths (3pm-10am) with sauna room. Great location — above subway — 29 minute walk to sumo. Yukata and slippers provided.

Our party of two stayed here for about a month in November 2025. We booked the family room so it was definitely super spacious for the two of us!
The front staff was super helpful and friendly.

Well maintain and located hotel that is clean and accessible to all. Rooms are well laid out and equipped with heater, aircon and air purifier, kitchen amenities are sufficient. Great service too.

Stayed here in December. This hotel was nice and clean. Rooms are a bit small, but nothing that's not expected in Japan. Washer and dryer provided in the room.

We lived in here 3 nights. The room is very clean and all staffs are so kindly. This hotel also near the subway entrance It’s so convenient. Highly recommend for everyone.

Hotel is conveniently located next to Oita Station and Amu shopping plaza. Plenty of restaurants, cafe, retail and convenience stores around the area.

Liked — Clean room with 4 pillows. Fast Wi-Fi. Strong hot shower pressure. Cool aircon. Rooftop outdoor onsen. Good location on top of JR station and malls. Luggage rack.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Beppu Daiiti hotel a couple of weeks ago. The staff were very nice — both receptionists and the kitchen staff at breakfast time.

The staff are kind and smart in dealing. I thank them very much, especially those who work at night. Their response is quick and efficient.

This inn is in a very beautiful onsen town. The room and the service are definately 5 stars. The onsen rooms are also very nice and relaxing. As to the dinner it is decent but not amazing.

It’s generally fine, not bad.
However, I wouldn’t recommend it to those who frequently stay at high-quality ryokans. The food was quite simple compared to a 4-star ryokan in other places.

Very comfortable room and nice hotel. Onsen is excellent. Staff are just not friendly and seem to be overburdened by many rules.

There’s a lot to like about this hotel….
— It’s very close to the train/bus station.
— It’s very clean and well organised.
— The staff are lovely.
— It’s well priced.
— Breakfast is decent.

We stayed four nights at the Monterey Fukuoka after spending some time in Nagasaki. Do note there are two Monterey properties in the city. So be sure to pick the right one.

Stayed there for a total of 5 nights during a 8D7N trip. Staff were friendly and helpful, amid tension between China and Japan at the moment.

It might be the best choice among the hotels in Hitakatsu in terms of the quality of service, rooms, amenities and the view.

The taxi fare from Hitakatsu Port was about 1, 050 yen.

Good location close to the centre, and I could check-in when I arrived 10 mins early.
Was given 11th floor room, but zero view just a blank wall opposite.

I recently stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura Ekimae, and I was very impressed.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the JR station. Check-in was very smooth, and the staff provided detailed and helpful explanations.

A great escape from the hustle and bustle. The place offers a comfortable space with great views, which makes it extra special.

Super cute and comfortable guest house. I highly recommend it! The staff are amazing and kind. The garden is beautiful and the rooms were clean.

The location is excellent for hiking in the area, and good supermarkets. The private bath was a real treat and the place is quiet and spotlessly clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Asogen with our 3yr old daughter. The room was clean and spacious, with a private toilet. The bathhouse was relaxing after a long day.

The men’s bath & sauna are surprisingly nice for a business hotel, but the women’s area is very disappointing.

Nice western style hotel. The best part is definitely the view and location of the hotel, It's perched up on a hill.
The rooms are decent although nothing to really write home about.

Even though the location is away from the station and city area, we appreciated it for the quiet surroundings. You will need to have a car to access this hotel.

Very nice rooms, very beautifully designed, you could see they put a lot of care into it. I hit my head a few times going up to the bunk bed. They have an outdoor terrace with a nice view.
