Hotels in Tokai with Parking

We booked a little late so unfortunately couldn’t get a room with a sitting area. Place appears popular with Chinese group tours most of whom were rather raucous.

Nice hotel across the road from Lake Kawaguchiko. It has public baths and two private baths.

Great location, english speaking reception, very clean, lovely bed, linen changed daily and cleaning if required, reasonably good sized rooms with comfort ameneties and many of the rooms afford an

I loveeee this hotel as it just a few steps from kawaguchiko station. So I dont need to drag my big luggage on bus, train or taxi. The hotel is vintage but it giving a nice Japanese vibe.

This is a gem of a Japanese-style hotel that is well situated on Lake Kawaguchiko with a partial view of Mt Fuji and within a five minute walk from the perfect viewing vantage point.

5 stars! The stay was amazing and the location is perfect if you are staying here and want to enjoy the lake + Mt. Fuji views.

Our stay was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about the staff.

We truly found this onsen ryokan by pure luck. We were looking for a place near Mount Fuji to watch the fireworks, and because the price was so reasonable, we honestly didn’t expect much.

Loved staying here. Def not “bougie”, but homie and gets the job done.
There is an adorable kitty/pup duo that lives here.
Staff is so kind.

It’s honestly a great place to stay, the cat Oleo is so sweet. You get a transfer from the train station. Everyone working there is lovely and you can see Mount Fuji.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service at Kawaguchiko Park Hotel.
We had a truly delightful stay at Kawaguchiko Park Hotel.

There’s nothing I don’t like about the hotel. It’s not a typical business hotel or a large chain, just a lovely small ryokan.

Great for a stopover on the way to Osaka from Tokyo. Location was super — straight off the highway. Service was good. Most notices were in dual language and staff did their best to accommodate.

I got a reasonable price for 2 nights (Twin room) in this Hotel with my family.

Excellent service from the staff.
Very clean room.
Breakfast included in the stay.
Free curry at dinner great experience.
I'll be back.

Beautiful hotel. We had a room with a fantastic view. Staff are polite, extremely professional and super helpful! A special shoutout to receptionist Lee for going above and beyond.

The rooms were nice, but the hot springs bath areas are the best I have ever encountered. There are two indoor pools and a sauna and ten outdoor pools with spectacular views.

Although it was my first time staying at a traditional Japanese hotel, I enjoyed it overall. The rooms were clean and the hospitality was welcoming throughout our stay.

I could not be happier with my stay at Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan. I stayed there back in January. It is truly a luxury ryokan that delivers on its reputation, especially with its unbeatable service.

Coming here with group on duty.
Hotel have a nice services and supportive staff.
Room is Japanese Western style quiet large and have a lot of space.

A beautiful resort! We hosted an event here for our family and friends. The staff and service are incredible. Food is also delicious and the onsen is one of the most beautiful I’ve experienced.

I stayed here on the night of April 21, 2025.
Room:
The room felt freshly renovated.

The description of the hotel in booking. Com is confusing. To clarify, the hotel or the restaurant is not Michelin-starred.

Best stay we have ever had in our holiday in Japan! Highly recommended! The meal is one of the best! Room and facilities are great. Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Delicious dinner, excellent variety of hot springs, and very friendly staff. Overall I had a great experience :)

Can I live here? This was my first experience of an Onsen and I loved it. We had the breakfast and dinner which were both delicious.

Amazing ryokan experience. First time having the option of a pool-like private bath. The staff member that helped us (Yamin) was great and very attentive. Definitely want to go there again!

I stayed here at the beginning of the year.
The seafood was delicious!
The hostess was kind and I was glad I stayed at this inn.
Ishigami is just a short walk away. The location is so good.

I stayed with my family of 4. None of us had a sauna culture, but since it was in the room, we all used it. The room bathroom was spacious and the sauna was great!

Wow! What an experience! Will revisit on my next trip to Japan.
Such a calm and present experience overall. Food is amazing, customer service is seriously on another level. Loved the room.

Need a car to get there, or you could use the shuttle. The rooms were of great size, especially in Japan. Onsen views are nice, but the quality was not top notch in the country.

Sadly the women’s onsen looks different then the pictures provided on Google Maps. It has privacy stands blocking the view.

We came in at night from the station and left the next morning, so it was a short stay but we loved it. Right from the security guard who received us to the lady overseeing the breakfast service

A beautiful place from which to explore the west side of the Izu peninsula.

Amazing hotel, it is right on top of a hill top facing the Suruga Bay and a forest across the road. I felt warmly welcomed when I arrived at the hotel, truly Japanese hospitality at its best.

Good value hotel near station. 10mins walk to old town/ morning market. Superior doubles have huge double beds (2m x 2m).

Booked the 2 western + Japanese room. Room was nice and clean but a bit small for 4 adults with luggage.

This was the best Hotel experience of my life.
— Very large rooms with a high standard.
— The onsen was amazing, very clean and with very few people.
— The staff was very friendly.

I went to Kawakamiya Kasuitei with my family and we loved here. The hospitality of all staff was immaculate and the food was locally sourced and amazing.
