Hotels in Tokai with Parking

We really enjoyed our experience at this traditional hotel. We slept surprisingly well on the futon mattresses. The room was comfortable and the staff at the hotel were really lovely.

The service is top notch! I booked a room but couldn't stay due to a medical emergency and had to return home early. Hoshokaku was very kind. They canceled my reservation without a cancellation fee.

A very comfortable Ryokan with many amenities. We enjoyed the private onsen. It was an incredible one in a lifetime experience.

This hotel has a place in my heart. Ive stayed here twice in Summer and in Autumn and it's been a beautiful stay both times.

Our stay at Shimoda Prince Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.

A charming yet clearly aging hotel with a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. The highlight is undoubtedly the onsen overlooking the ocean – a truly unforgettable experience.

2025-10-21 very nice day-use onsen. Access to 2 open air and 1 indoor baths for 1600 yens (soaps and small towel included). The resting areas (indoor and outdoor) are nice too.

This was our first onsen hotel stay and I must say it’s fantastic.

I hope this review helps people understand what to expect from someone who is notoriously picky and does not hand out stellar reviews easily.

I stayed here on 19 Dec 2026. Absolutely love this place.
— price is reasonable.
— room is clean and spacious.
— There is a public bath in the hotel.
— decent food options near the hotel.

First, you have the stunning design of the house, nestled in the heart of the forest, peaceful and refined in that uniquely Japanese way.

The most beautifully restful stay. The food is incredible and such a treat (7, 000 yen for a multi course tasting menu! ). Amazing ambience and hospitality — we felt super zen and cosy.

This place far exceeded my expectations.
It's not fancy but it has everything you need — from peaceful rooms and corridors to free snacks and drinks and a very sumptuous breakfast and dinner.

We only stayed for one night but left felling better that we had in weeks, between the Onsens, free snacks and drinks I dont know what was the best part.

My partner and I would like to thank the kind staff at Wanosato for giving us an amazing stay this May.

Wanosato was the “real Japan” we wanted to experience on our first visit. I was searching for somewhere off the beaten path, serene, and authentic and we found it here.

Best accommodation from our whole trip to Japan! The space is beautiful and carefully designed. I really enjoyed their book and craft beer collection.

I stayed at Ryokan Ogawa for 2 nights and I found it really lovely. Great staff, lovely little artistic touches around the place and in the rooms. Everything was quiet and respectful.

Stayed here with my partner for one special night. We got picked up from the Atami station by one of the incredible staff Richard, he picked us as well as another couple and drove us up to the hotel.

The Hotel Mujuan is a hidden gem in Atami! It offers a very cozy and luxurious room (we had the Deluxe suite) with a stunning ocean view and view at the castle.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was only a night, but was super comfy and the room felt so tranquil. We loved that we could hear the waves from it and watch the sun rise over the beach.

The owners are welcoming and made us felt safe. I can’t speak much Japanese neither them in English yet we had good communication by gesture. They even offered us green tea and snacks.

Stayed at Yamagishi Ryokan with my family in April, and it was absolutely perfect.
Our room overlooked Lake Kawaguchi, and the view alone made the stay unforgettable.

The place is great! It has a nice ryokan vibes, with tatami mats and futon beds. The beds are on the floor like traditional Japanese beds. It is very comfortable.

I've spend a night alone in this hotel, the room was very spacious, I was in the Japanese style room. The onsen is really nice, both indoor and outdoor. I really enjoyed drinking the onsen water.

Have a great experience with the hotel. Stayed in as a family of 2 adults and 1 infant. Food was well-served with personalised experiences.

My stay at Ginsuiso Inatori was one of the most relaxing ryokan experiences I’ve had in Japan.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere already felt calm and welcoming.

More than 3 hour drive from tokyo. Right next to sea front. Superb sea views. We booked the Akane room for two nights. We loved the room. Huge with 4 beds. 2 toilets. In room hotspring in balcony.

We had very cozy stay for 2 nights, the cottage is well designed, warm and well equipped. Staffs are very helpful and well trained. No complain at all.

Great experience at Pica. There was still snow on the ground which added to the experience. Stayed in the trailer cottage (parked right next to it).

2 weeks ago we stayed at this Ryokan. We stayed here for one night. We actually wanted to stay 2 nights but they were fully booked. After travelling alot, it was nice to have a day full of relaxation.

My husband and I truly loved our stay at this ryokan. After traveling through busy, larger cities, it was a quaint and peaceful retreat in nature—exactly what we needed.
