4-Star Hotels in Umbria4*

You never know when you book a hotel if it is going to live up to expectations. Happy to say that the Castello di Monterone does that and more.

Comfortable hotel, easily connected to Perugia centre, Assisi, Spello and Spoleto. Delicious breakfast and very helpful staff. Serena and her team make a great job.

It's a really good hotel with high level service. All the personnel in the hotel is nice, helpful and friendly.

Good services clean and safe.

Very convenient to the historic center to be reached on foot.
Friendly staff.
The cleanliness is not perfect.
Very good restaurant pity for the wine list a bit 'restricted.

We had a lovely stay at Locanda Della Posta. Check in was seamless, the room was clean and spacious and the location cannot be better located in the heart of the town.

The hotel is in a convenient part of Perugia. It’s very nicely updated and very clean. The shower in our triple room was really fancy and fairly complicated to use.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our visit, making us feel very welcome.

Perfectly located in the city center, just a few meters from Perugia's main square, Priori Hotel offers the best you could expect.

Where to start?
It was amazing! Everything was superlatives! We had pasta course with chef Ledy Silva, who is lovely and cooks incredible.

We loved it here! The interior & pool area were both beautiful. We were only here for one night, but wished we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here for three nights before our wedding and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed.

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are fine, although you can see that they’re not too new. Food is very good: breakfast and especially dinner.
But what I liked the most are the people working there!

Very comfortable hotel with a friendly and responsive staff. Booking their parking is especially convenient.

Perfect! Next time in Perugia I will definitely book here again. Perfect location — right on Corso Vannucci, so close to everything including the Pincetto mini metro stop.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are warm (in February) and comfortable, bathroom looks like private spa.

I was recently at guest at the Plaza Hotel and I would like to let everyone know about the exceptional customer service I received from Marta.

A cozy hotel to make a stop when you visit Perugia. The staff were really friendly, rooms were modern and clean. The fitness was really impressive (high tech equipment).

We were looking for a place to stay for two night that was well — placed in relation to our different plans in Umbria. We absolutely found what we were looking for!

Fantastic location, a surprise! Very nice and spotless rooms. Mrs Francesca is an impeccable host🥰 We will definitely return, perhaps in the summer to enjoy the magnificent park surrounding the villa😍

After not having a holiday for quite some time, I had chosen this property online which already looked promising from the photos.

26 of us (9 couples) stayed for 5 nights to visit various cathedrals, churches and museums in the area. Our stay at Hotel San Luca could not have been better.

Beds comfy and ensuite marble and very clean. Excellent room servicing, towels fresh and beds made carefully. Breakfasts best ever.

The only reason for me to give less than 5 stars for this place would be a wicked motion to make sure this place stays the hidden gem it currently is! But in all honesty, this place is worth every

The hotel is gorgeous, very quaint, an historical 19th century villa built by King Vittorio Emanuele for his wife.

A Flawless Stay with a Standout Bar Experience.
Our recent stay here was nothing short of spectacular.

The public areas of the hotel are beautiful and the views from the bar are amazing. The Wi-Fi didn't reach to our room and we had to ask for coffee sachets as there were non when we arrived.

This hotel is exceptional in so many ways. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Management/owner is engaging and provided spot on dining recommendations.

An excellent and modern hotel next to the historic Roman amphitheatre. Great room with loads of facilities… we had booked a superior one but we're upgraded to a suite.

An absolutely beautiful B&B just outside of Todi. While I only stayed for one night, I took advantage of the spa and had a massage. It was super relaxing.

My husband and I came here immediately after our wedding in Italy to refresh and relax and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. The pictures do not do it justice.

A very special place to stay! This former monastery is in a gorgeous location in the forest. The views are breathtaking of the spectacular valley. The staff is very patient and helpful.

The most beautiful and magical wedding venue in the world! Our daughter and new son-in-law celebrated their wedding at this magnificent Abazzia in Umbria.

Great place to stay highly recommend it Great foods, Grace hospitality, very clean very good speaking English great service feel like you're at home. Such a warm welcome. Top five star.

A very beautiful place with easy excess. Stayed 5 nights in a junior suite which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Highlight of My Trip to Italy.
Staying at Hotel Cenacolo and visiting Assisi was, without a doubt, the absolute highlight of my trip to Italy.

Driving up does not show the beauty and expanse of the property. Very clean and the breakfast is delicious with many choices. Outside the walls of Assisi but very close.

Our experience was fantastic. An unforgettable place, with a convenient and quiet location that offers breathtaking views, a very clean heated swimming pool, and a very well-kept garden.

Beautiful, that's the word. In every possible respect!

Here for a wedding. Beautiful location in the hills. Be aware there is a non tarmac road leading up to the location, probably not suitable if you've hired a smaller city car.

I honestly don’t think we could’ve chosen a better venue. When we first started planning, we were completely overwhelmed (in the best way) — there are so many venues out there now.

The most amazing wedding location.
Raffaela is the perfect host, warm and welcoming. She makes sure that Villamena feels like home from the day you arrive.

This villa is absolute paradise 😍 We had our wedding here in May 2025 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Brilliant hotel. Front desk staff superb and helped me sort out new tyres for my motorcycle. Can’t recommend highly enough. Stayed an extra night it was so good.

What a great hotel! Centrally located, super-helpful staff, and a clean spacious, refurbished room set in an interesting old building. Quality bedding, very good shower.
