My daughter paid the required deposit of 2000€ for her wedding, and we in good faith paid for one nights stay. With Covid the wedding was postponed and now this year we had to cancel due to no guarantee that the wedding could take place. Abbazia have not paid the amount agreed back, they have paid short and continue to ignore my daughter's emails. This is not what any of us wanted but we really thought that Abbazia would uphold their side of the agreement. We are feeling very disheartened and disappointed 😞

The Abbey is such a majestic place, situated
on a hill. Serene with a breathtaking views. I recommend taking a car/taxi since it can be tricky locating it. The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries bathrobes, bath slippers. We stayed in the bridal suite since we had our wedding there; it was very spacious. The owners Federica and Chiara were sweethearts, very accommodating. The breakfast was to die for! Large variety of juices, jams, breads, cheeses, and eggs. In the actual Abbey the paintings of saints are still visible, with gold and beautiful colors.

Magical location and charming! the service, food, scenery. Everything's a dream! I would say definitely the TOP!

Staff is better side available. The abbey is very characteristic and lends itself well to hosting events of various types, including weddings. The rooms are elegant and welcoming. Breakfast offers a wide range of products, also typical.

Wonderful place as a wedding venue. Only the little church deserves the trip: full of frescoes not all recovered, unfortunately, it has been included in the list of Unesco heritage assets. Great welcome. To visit even if you are just passing by.

The Abbey of St. Peter in the Valley is a jewel of the valnerina. In the green heart of Italy we find this corner of art and longobarda history.
To be seen absolutely because of these paintings, Giotto presses inspiration.

Beautiful place with exposed frescoes in the church and beautiful restaurant combination hotel attached, I was there for a wedding! Great! If you are in the area it's a great place! The Hotel has discounts to visit the marble waterfall, save 40%. It's not cheap! Being the place is landed guarantees peace and relaxation, the rooms are very simple but still very nice and equipped with the indispensable, air conditioning included! If I get it, I'll be back!

The quality is galactic. All exquisite dishes with ingredients at km 0. All very good and exceptionally good quality. The girls who run the restaurant, are kind, professional and very nice. The setting is to say the least suggestive and romantic. In short, I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Staff was fantastic. The setting is unbelievable. This place has a wow factor. So glad we went here, what a great memory. They specialize in destination weddings.

Renovation to the rule of art. The charm of the monastery remained intact and our room, between Anselmo, is comfortable, spacious and welcoming with beautiful views over the valley and the abandoned village of Umbriano. Very romantic with a big fireplace and the old washtub. The bathroom is taken care of, with a window (something very appreciated by us) and a comfortable shower enclosure.

Very nice place. The location makes 94% of all the attraction. The presence in the block of the Abazzia of the oldest church of Umbria makes it special. They know they have a beautiful point of attraction and they pull it a bit.

A lovely place. It accompanies a view full of charm to enjoy in the silence. Ideal place to recharge.

A beautiful place, surrounded by a wonderful nature, very kind and professional, at the restaurant a fine cuisine and the staff very prepared … small flaw on room 201 due to a sewer smell that disturbed our living room.
