Al Tuscany B&B Bed and Breakfast

If it were possible to put it — 5. Maybe We were unlucky and there are better rooms, but if you happen the attic I recommend you give up. In the ground flying wires and I had to attack alone the plugs of the lamps to a multi-socket, the window above the bed has a curtain that does not obscure at all, the sink is so attached to the bidet that you have to use sideways, seemed clean but in the ground there were Batu Dust… I Think it's not a rented room.

For one night ok. I wouldn't be able to stay with the small rooms for longer. But great done and looked after. Very centrally located.

We happened by chance in this B&B during our visit to Lucca. We had a great time firstly it is located in the historic center so it is handy to visit the city. Then the room was very large, also the bathroom large, difficult to find usually, clean, tidy and the bed really very comfortable. The breakfast room is convivial, a large roundtable wishing you can interact with other guests. Breakfast is Italian and continental. The owner is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this property.

I highly recommend Al Tuscany to people who are eager to experience a bit of the real spirit of the city of Lucca. This August, my boyfriend and I spend few nights at Al Tuscany. The place has definitely its own Tuscany-style charm, white antiquarian furniture and decors. Claudio, the owner, is always available and extremely helpful. Some of our documents got lost on the way to Lucca, so Claudio helped us making some calls and fixing the situation for us. So, thanks to him, we could keep enjoying our holiday. Al Tuscany is an elegant and cosy place at the same time. I wish to go back soon!

Great location right in the centre of lucca. Rooms nice and clean. Owner mr Claudio is very helpfull and knowlegable especially on best places to eat.

I stayed only one night at this B&B but I liked it a lot. It is very well located, the room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The very best is feeling very welcomed by the owner, Mr Claudio and his assistant. They make everything possible to give you the best experience. He even took us back to the train station on a rainy morning with his own car, so nice of him! Thanks Mr. Claudio and Al Tuscany for this great experience in Lucca!

Bedroom whith only one window, to internal opening, without sunlight, and without airing.

We were upgraded from "Tuscany" we had booked at the residence "room with a view" of the same management.
We found a clean and tidy, with a very small but in good condition and recently renovated.
Only big minus a single window looking into a very small space inside a building with no sunlight and with little air and sometimes the noise of air conditioners of the Bank or the ice below and also the remains of pidgeons. Irony of the case the only view of the "room with a view" were the high walls surrounding the only window. Fortunately during that period was fresh, not recommended in summer.

Good B&B, really puts an effort into making your stay comfortable. Breakfast a bit odd for me as a Scandinavian, but OK. Recommended for shorter stays.

We thoroughly recommend a stay at Al Tuscany. A family run B&B where we were made very welcome. Caludio was very helpful sorting out a place to leave our car as it has to be outside the city walls. We received very good suggestions for restaurantsf or dinner. It is well located and the breakfast was very well catered. Our stay was in a mansard (attic) room with views over the top of other buildings. Just great. Brian & Lorraine Sydney Australia.
