I was in town for the Cabelas Walleye fishing tornament. We picked this motel at random having never been here before. Was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very spacious, and most importantly, very clean. The beds were very comfortable and nice pillows too! Location was great, we could walk to just about every where we wanted to go! Kimberly, the property manager, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. I would recomend this motel to anyone, even people that prefer larger well known hotels! The bed was stiff and I woke up with a bad sore back to the point my wife had to help me get off the bed. The room was clean and definitely vintage, if the mattress wasn't, would be a 5 star rating. The shower was good and so was the ac in the unusual warm spell in the Soo for labor day weekend.

I have stayed here many times. I love the price when compared to other area hotels. The room isn't quite modern, but, I'll take that as a compromise. The quality is still the same. Nothing fancy.

The room was dated. When we turned on the A. C. It smelled as if the filters had never been changed. There was mold in the shorts and a build up of scum encompassing the shower. This place should be closed permanently. I would recommend no one visit this place.

Older property but very clean. Staff is great.

Ripped me off on my credit card for a full nights stay. Ran my card then said I couldn't stay. "Supposedly" reimbursed me by running my card again. Looked online, he charged me TWICE. Really rude and will not accept service animals, (against ADA federal law) Go to that Budget Crestview Inn. Same price with white veteran owners that's are so sweet.

Polite friendly staff and reasonable room tariffs. The bathroom is a little outdated and looked slightly dingy. The room wasn't very well ventilated and they definitely need heavier curtains. I didn't sleep all night because this bright light right outside the room shone directly in my face. This could have been easily avoided if they had heavier curtains.

Friendly staff clean room cheap rate. Highly impressed speedy Wi-Fi. What more could you want.

It's not even open anymore I assume the old owners ran into the ground.

Price is cheap, retro look quite area near to downtown, but open during tourist season.

Very comfortable. A little off the beaten path. Noise was not a problem. Very good price. Will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Great location, but it is a very outdated motel, no trim, wood paneling, old appliances in pristine condition, ceiling tiles that show years of past water damage. All that being said, It was very clean with no bugs at all. Parking sucks, too tight with no handicapped parking. Customer service sucks. Water was coming through the ceiling in the bathroom the whole weekend we were there and we were unable to use the bathroom for an entire night. At checkout, the manager only offered us a 15% discount for WHEN WE RETURNED. Lol. I don't imagine they are concerned about vacancy as it is a busy area, but we won't bother them with our business again.

The Motel was amazing looked a little retro but was fine with me. The shower was so good that I didn't want to get out. The beds were very comfortable.

It's a hotel not a campground good hot running water comfortable beds and the owners are nice.

Got the room at a very good price, old rooms but very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was not complimentary but did have some freebie on the go to grab n munch.

I decided to stay for 2 nights. This was the cheapest place to sleep in the whole town. Other hotels were at $90 and above. This was about $60. This was a no-frills place. There is Wi-Fi, ice machine; unaware if there was a laundry set, vending machines. The motel is very 'groovy' in terms of design/decor. It is an outside access motel. Parking is TIGHT! Upon entry to the room, it appears very typical of a 2-star quality. The carpet initially felt moist, but I think my feet were sweaty… (TMI) The mini-fridge, that I was unaware existed, is old… but it works like a MF! Kept my water cold. There is a small microwave. I didn't use it, though. There is no coffee maker or hair dryer. I usually bring my own dryer, since most places have dryers that aren't quite as lovely as my own. In respect to the coffee maker… Listen, they didn't list that as an amenity, so I brought my own 12-cup with me. (I'm sort of addicted to coffee; it's the crack to my soul. ) Doing without those few things is fine with me to save that dough. Back to the room — basic cable, older TV; small table and 2 chairs to sit for meals; desk area with large mirror, drawers, phone books and maps; closet-like area with a few hangers; night stand and lamp next to the bed. The bed — typically queen slab; far from sleeping on clouds, but didn't keep me from sleeping nor did it create pain upon waking. No weird smells or visble stains, no other creatures lurking about the linen. The bathroom — uh, yeah… it's manageable.

Very clean, neat, & affordable. Very pleased.

I stayed here for 2 night in Aug 2015. Awesome hotel at a very reasonable cost. Would definitely stay here again.
