Check-in could have been better for an early check in; however, we were able to get into our room smoothly and it has been an enjoyable stay ever since. The amenities and housekeeping services have been tremendous. The room was clean upon first entering it, with fresh bath towels and clean linen. The showerhead in the washroom has excellent water pressure and the tub is a recently upgraded one with jets which helped with my sore back and legs. The proximity to the boardwalk and waterfront was a block away with a mall in between which was very convenient for our needs. The breakfast could have been better with more food and drink options, but it does provide the basic breakfast needs one could want. The attached bar and game room was a nice addition to the hotel, and they provided us with a voucher for just food (not alcohol). The hotel was also very close to the casino and the major tourist sites of Sault Ste. Marie and in a very quiet area. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for both a short or long stay in the Sault, and even visiting from nearby Michigan.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. It started when I arrived at 6 PM (check-in is at 4 PM). There was a "Back in 5 minutes" sign, so I waited 10+ minutes for someone to come back. I was given an "interior" room, which does not have temperature control. Then I was moved to another room, which also didn't have temperature controls and shared a VERY thin wall with the noisy kitchen. There were dishes being moved and dropped, as well as loud conversations until 11 PM. I called to complain and was told there was nothing to be done about the temperature controls and that the noise from the kitchen would stop "soon" and not start until after noon the next day. I was woken at 7 am by the noise in the kitchen. I told the employees about my dissatisfaction on 3 occasions; and was offered a discount for my next stay when I was checking out. The price was $130. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel. UPDATE: The hotel responded to my review by suggesting my post was slanderous, which is untrue. And today, 7 days after leaving a second charge was put through for $91 US. This is after I had already paid, and resulted in $35 US bank fees.

Extremely friendly staff and very helpful. I arrived late in the evening after a long day and was thrilled at how helpful the staff was with getting me everything I needed to make sure my stay was great even if it was just for the night. They helped me find restaurants that were open late and places with good food. The "hotel" restaurant Soo Blaster I believe was okay but overpriced. Still, it was nice that there was somewhere I could grab food without leaving the building. The continental breakfast was okay as well but still enough food to get me full and ready for my day. The room was fantastic so clean and tidy with a view of the Canada to USA bridge and the river. Overall another great stay at the Days Inn and at one of the best rates.

I do not recommend this place to host events, staff in kitchen did not know how to cater to 12 people kept forgetting items such as forks, napkins, coffee tea and tongs for salad! I really don't know how they would have handled a bigger group of people! I also requested a Queen bed, and when check in time came they changed my room and gave me a double with a nice view of the garbage dump! Staff are friendly though!

Comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms. Customer service was helpful and thoughtful. Women at the front desk always going beyond expectations for each guest.

Nice covered under ground parking structure, no charge for hotel guests. Right across the street from station mall. Hotel is a bit dated but the beds are comfy. Cool restaurant on site.

The underground parking was nice. Not having to leave your packed vehicle visible. The front desk staff was also very nice.

We are in room 1034 which is a suite with a loft. It has spoiled me for hotel stays. When I'm in the Soo again I will definitely stay here. You can't go wrong. I give it 5+++++ Stars :-)

Great service, rooms, location, and food.

Stayed here twice on our road trip from Toronto to Vancouver 3 weeks apart. Especially in winter, this is a snowy region. In our first stay, we were given a room with no windows but ceiling light holes and that room was a little depressing and somewhat chilly. On our way back, the room was quite cozy and it was quite spacious and warm but two factors are important. The first was the weather was much warmer and they told us that they gave us an upgrade. So specifically ask for rooms with windows!

A bit of a maze but the staff is friendly, room was cozy, and it's pretty centrally located to restaurants and a couple breweries. For an overnight stopover, you could do worse.

Bad, is such a small world to describe the service here, really! really! terrible and the mirror features are just so stupid, the bed did so much noise overall terrible and the costumer service really bad too, the lady showed like she had not training ones so ever and at some point in the night I also saw her doing guess service to one of the rooms so front desk also do in room service and the room didn't have any heat in the winter ❄️☃️⛄

The people that work here are some of the nicest in the industry. Very welcoming and professional. Our suite was large and very comfortable enjoying our little get away before the holidays. Our only reget is we cannot stay another night as we have to get back home. The rates for the rooms are low for the quality of the room. I hope to be back in the near future for a mini holiday. Everything you need within walking distance.

At the height of the days Inn. Clean, nice room and lunch was good.

Rooms are smaller than expected but really comfy bed, the staff is friendly enough, the main issue I had was the "whirlpool tub" in my room was very out of date and leaked so bad there was water all over the bathroom floor, mega updates need to happen before I will even consider coming back to spend that much money to not even be able to use the bath. Room wasn't better than a motel room but twice the price because "it's the Day's Inn! " The room isn't worth the price.

The wife and I had an amazing sleep woke up to a great breakfast eggs breakfast sausage toast apples oranges even a cool nifty pancake making machine also coffee tea apple juice orange juice and different types of cereal.

It was the perfect mid range, passing through a town and need a place to stay, type of hotel. Price was fair, room was clean, the internet worked, and the breakfast had a few edible items. I was definitely happy with the experience but it was not above average. That's what I expected.

The 24 hour check in was a great help… they are renovating which is great because the floor layout was confusing. Rolling in late at night did not help hence late check in. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, plenty of lighting. The pictures in the hotel siting are accurate.

Horrible experience! Rented a junior suite for it not to look anything like the photo, no fire place, no jet tub. Looked just like a normal room (even though it was advertised to have these things). Very disappointed! The manager said the photo is just a stock photo… Lol, that they don't actually have rooms that look like that. Our room was not ready when we checked in, we had to wait an hour, which was more of a waste of time since once we checked in we checked out.

Room a little on the small size, but nice and clean. Large hotel with sports bar/restaurant/game room conveniently connected. Close to the Agawa train which is what we are here for. Also mall shopping in walking distance. Highly recommend for a one stop getaway.

When we at the hotel the service that we were seniors exquisite and the employees are all very helpful and generous. Although we wish that there were other facilities that we can use such as a pool, a hot tub, or a sauna our stay was enjoyable. For breakfast, we didn't have a wide range of foods to eat especially for vegetarians but we did receive a warm fresh breakfast every morning. Overall clean stay and will be returning soon.

Right when we got to the hotel the service was amazing. The hotel provides covered parking under a roof so even if the weather is not cooperating outside you can safely get your bags into the hotel. The rooms were clean and ready when we arrived, and even in the morning the rooms were like new after room service fixed them up a bit. The breakfast is mediocre but it's worth it since it's free. Bathrooms were clean. Overall great ecperience. Would highly recommend as it is in the hear of downtown Ssm and it's close by to tons of lunch and dinner places. Also across the street is the station mall for any of your shopping needs.

If you're looking for a place to stay look no further. My family and I were treated with great courtesy and respect as soon as we arrived which of course made us feel right at home. Unfortunately we were accidentally checked into a room that was not yet ready and when we called to have our room cleaned or to be switch to another room, without question we were upgraded to a bigger and better room. A special thank you goes out to Carla for the awesome hospitality we couldn't ask for anything more. The Days Inn has a superstar working for them.

Clean hotel with beautiful rooms directly opposite the mall. The river is overly wide.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable! The beds were awesome and comfy! The breakfast was great (hot breakfast with full service) and the lady at the front desk tanya was super helpful and gave us a great suggestion for dinner which was fabulous! Highly recommend.

The room was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. This was the first hotel to offer us breakfast even though we booked through expedia, which was very appreciated. We couldn't stay long, though, as we had to continue on our trip.

The staff here were friendly and welcoming. Good parking, nice room and great breakfast. A welcoming motel.

Rooms a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Quiet. Very competitive price. Friendly smiling staff. What tips it for me is the breakfast. Traveling and those tired same old breakfast buffets made with instant eggs and instant batter is a killer. Here a free MADE TO ORDER FRESH BREAKFAST w/ homemade bread, fresh eggs, good coffee. I travel at least twice a year to the Sault, this is my new place to stay.

Hotel was basic / what you'd expect for the price, but the front desk staff was friendly, extremely helpful and went out of the way to accommodate.

I attended training in their board room, which was clean and pleasant.

Very comfortable room and good breakfast.

The room was nice and clean. The front desk staff was ok for the most part except this one girl who totally snobbed me and definitely needs to be trained in guest service 101. The fitness center was outdated and smelt funky.

Moving to Alberta and use this one as first stop. Room was abit small but was pretty clean. Tried one Travelodge in Leduc and it was a total dive would not recommend. The Travelodge in Dryden is the best one by far looking forward to staying there again.
