Great front desk and management!

Very nice hotel, wait staff was very good and the rooms looked just fine. Everything was in order in this hotel. And unlike other Hotel bathrooms, the room bathroom was well sized, my wife and I did not bump elbows every time we turned around. Loved everything about it.

Exterior landscaping: 5 stars. Clean, well done. Exterior Cleanliness: 5 stars Interior cleanliness: 4. Mold in shower. They corrected when I asked by spraying it with bleach. The mold went away. Check-in procedure: 3 stars. The staff was talking between themselves. I would prefer the guy checking me in would talk to me. Also, my boyfriend booked the room, and held it. We spoke to the front desk, and they said when I check in, without my boyfriend, I could swipe my card for incidentals, and the room could stay on his card. When I have my card, I told him it was for incidentals only. He said, ok. However, I later discovered that they used my card for incidentals and for the room costs. That was deceitful. When my boyfriend cameto check-in he told him that he wanted to pot out on his card, but the lady behind the desk decided to leave it on my card. I had to go up there to explain t that he was asking to pot it on his card, and then, she Changed the card. Why did I physically have to walk up there before she Changed it? Reservation: 3 stars. We asked for extra towels, the lady taking the reservation said she would make that notation, however… she didn't, and we only had 1 each. Breakfast: 4 stars. Hair in the food. Interior king bed room 5 stars.

When the listing says " near Airport" they mean it. No need for an alarm, the 5:30am departing flight will wake you up. The room is a standard Hampton Inn room, nothing fancy. We did have ants in our room, but once I told the front desk about it, they tried to quickly resolve the issue. Breakfast is included and as expected.

Usually airport hotels are high volume, busy and lacking in professional help but this one was pretty okay. Nice staff was nice. Gonna be honest, I really only ever stay in these hotels for like 30 minutes at a time, so that's the extent of my experiences. But for the most part they're pretty nice.

We arrived at 11:45pm to check in. This was the only hotel off of I-95 that had a room with two beds. Upon arrival we hadn't received our digital key. My husband went to the front desk to check in and ask for real key cards. The employee at the front desk was very sweet but visibly having a hard time. The system was not allowing her to code the keys for whatever reason. After 15 or so mins we asked if we could just be let in the room since keys weren't really needed once we got in. She did open the door for us and we happily went to sleep. I should say she called the room 3 times because she wasn't sure if someone was actually checked in to it. Not sure why but she did check a few times. The room was clean and all was in order. The next morning we woke and headed downstairs for breakfast. This unfortunately was a huge mess. All of the juices were all out and only water was coming out. All pastries had not been refilled, the regular coffee was out, all the fruit looked old or missing, and the stations were an absolute mess. This is a first in any of our Hampton stays and we stay in no less then 20-30 different ones a year between our family and my husband's travels. For the 1 night stay the room was great, sheets were the best we've felt, but breakfast was probably the worst we've ever encountered. This hotel wouldn't be our first pick, but it will do in a pinch.

Good location. Easy access from the airport. Clean rooms. Good service.

The room, staff, & amenities were very good. It is important to note that the hotel shares a parking lot with 2 other sister hotels. Parking is not monitored (they do not ask for tag #s). Because of the lack of monitoring and insufficient parking, we had to park 2 hotels away when returning in the evening. Some inconsiderate drivers parked across multiple parking spaces and without monitoring, there was nothing to be done.

I was there for a very short stay (enough time to sleep) but what stood out to me was the extremely comfortable bed with clean sheets and comforter, large bathroom, and friendly shuttle service to the airport. Would stay again.

Doors slamming all night, party raging until 2 a. M when the front desk finally told them to knock it off. They went out to the parking lot for a few minutes then noisily filtered back with yelling in the halls and more doors slamming. 7 a. M they were back to yelling in the halls and slamming doors again. To top it off, no regular coffee for the in room coffee maker. And weather knocked out the TV reception most of the evening.

Awesome and very friendly. I arrived late after an exhausting flight on American Airlines. The front dedk staff was very helpful and ensured my stay was comfortable as possible. I was truly amazed after getting a great nights sleep. The pillows were totally awesome, wish I had the same at home. Breakfast was very good and filling. Annette the breakfast host was wonderful she allowed me extra time to get something to eat though they were closing in a few minutes. The shuttle driver was awesome and went out of his way to help us since our rental car reservation fell through last night. Hampton Inn is the place to stay thanks in part to the wonderful people on stsff here. A true rewarding experience here. I recommend you stay here too. Thanks again Annette. Hampton Inn has earned 5+ stars for my visit.

Nice room but extremely offended that TV comes up on FOX automatically every time it is turned on. It is this propaganda that is undermining our democracy. I would like to know if this is a company wide policy.

The room was very clean and the bed was more comfortable than what I'm used to at hotels. The only downsides were no tub in the bathroom and a loud-ish fridge. I would definitely stay here again.

Cecilia! The hotel Manager, and hardest working woman in Richmond made our stay memorable. She went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our visit (opened up the breakfast bar so we could have a glass of orange juice). Best Staff around!

Stayed for a night on our way to the OBX. Mom, Dad and 3 kids. Got there about 7pm, asked about pool hours and was given a wonderful response. Very nice evening manager, recommended delivered food from local Chinese place. It was good. No problems. Heard the planes in the parking lot, not in the room. Complimentary breakfast had it's ups and downs, but overall we left not hungry. Check out was easy peasy, saw the same young lady as the night before.
The digital key was awesome! And the kids enjoyed the elevator. Oh Snap.

I made a reservation using Hilton points several weeks ago. I tried to make it on your app but at the last stage of the confirmation process the app did not work and I was told I needed to call Hilton reservations. I did so and I made ONE reservation. My plans changed and a week or two ago I called Hilton again to cancel that reservation. I verified that points were put back on my account. I didn't know to check for having 20, 000 x 2 =40, 000 points refunded because I didn't know two reservations were made. At no time when I was canceling or making the reservation did anyone make me aware I was making 2 reservations. I don't believe I received two reservation confirmation emails. Was one made on the app? If so that is certainly confusing because the process failed and I was told to call Hilton reservations to make my reservation. If two reservations were made over the phone then someone made a mistake. In any case this is not my fault. And someone should have found two reservations when I was calling to cancel. This morning, September 21, I received an alert notifying me to check in. I immediately called to cancel this and I was told I was past the cancellation deadline. But that if I called the hotel they could waive the cancellation fee. I did call and the manager told me I was unable to cancel the reservation but if I called Hilton honors they could do it. I did and I was unable to cancel the reservation without a cancellation fee.

They have metal "protectors" on their doors which are not flush with the door. This leaves their sharp corners free to tear through your clothes as the doors are — forcefully — closing themselves. Be very careful, as these will easily tear through your expensive shirt/suit as it did with mine.

Did a quick overnight stay here before a flight out of RIC. This a nice Hamptonn Inn property. Easy access to the airport and restaurants. Typical Hampton Inn quality (meant in a positive manner). Very friendly staff. Would stay at again.

It is very easy to find, the room is very nice and quiet. They have good breakfast and there service is good. They provide a baby crib if you have a kids.

Always a great stay! We stay here often and the staff is always friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and you can't beat the included breakfast. There's something for everyone, I love the waffles. I think the housekeeping services was not quite as thorough on our last stay but they still do the job. Definitely recommend staying here.

Relatively clean but there was mold in the corner of the tub. Friendly staff and ample parking. Located close to the airport made it convenient to sleep in a little later than perhaps I should have but I still made my flight.

Great hotel — clean, friendly staff, conveniently located, good price. I knocked 1 star off for 2 reasons. 1. Recycling options. Unfortunately, there aren't any and that kills me. 2. The breakfast. It's comparable to your average hotel breakfast, but for the health conscious, it's slim pickings. Hampton Inn is already pretty cutting edge w them branding — I keep my fingers crossed that someday they will also differentiate themselves by getting rid of syrupy-y juices, hydrogenated oil containing preservative-filled items and replacing w organic, natural, real food ingredients.

If you are staying in Richmond, I would highly recommend staying here. It is only about a 10 minute drive to the Speedway, depending on the traffic, and it is located right by the expressway which makes it convenient. We stayed for 3 nights. The lobby is fabulous, so take advantage of it in the evenings. Take out and eat in. That's what we did every night. The front desk staff was patient and polite. We did clean up after we were done, but there were no attempts to stop us or tell us to go to our rooms. The breakfast area was typical of breakfasts but better. They offered a different type of egg and meat all three mornings. And JoJo, was a very polite, but quiet staffer. She was great at keeping up with the whole wrestling team. Pool area does not have a Jacuzzi but the kids enjoyed the pool. Towels were always available and picked up. I will definitely stay here again if I am back in the Richmond area.

The staff is nice, the hotel clean and they seem organized.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn while in town for the Spring Bizarre Bazaar. It was a very pleasant stay. The accommodations were great and so were the staff. Vonshea at the front desk was great.
