I go to these types of hotels because they usually serve free breakfast when I need to go somewhere fast. But then I realized that only the holiday inn express has free breakfast.

Our room was not cleaned properly. But staff was helpful.

The hotel is very nice but, do not pay the $35 for the breakfast coupon it's a rip off. Allowed to have anything on the menu with the exception of Steak and eggs which is only $13.75. So really your spending $35 for a $20 (at the absolute most) breafast, then they tell you that the top is not included in the $35. Well my apologies to the waitress cause it isn't your fault but I can't afford to waist my money. You would have gotten a very good tip. Instead I leave you with this, ask your boss to give you the rest of the mo, ey I did use on my voucher.

Stay here on my travels. Always nice and breakfast is good. Nice location not far from I95 and I295. Plenty of places to eat and a WAWA right nearby.

I love Staying there it's nice and clean. Close to alot of store's to get to.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels but this one was by far the worst. At check-in, they gave me someone else's room. Imagine walking in a room with people already in it or reverse someone walking into your room. So they gave me another room and it was filthy. It's crazy cause I ran into a man in the elevator with a similar situation before mine and I thought he was just crazy. Then I find out breakfast cost 6 dollars, not free. After paying 130 for a small, dirty room, you would think they would've had free continental breakfast. The next morning, I'm walking down the hallway and see someone who appears to be the housekeeping manager because of the different outfit then the other housekeepers and I said hello. She looked at me and kept going with no response. Overall this was the worst hotel and I've stayed at a couple of Motel 6s. Would rate this no stars but not an option!

Friendly staff. An expansive and comfortable space, with everything you need. Easy shuttle to the airport.

The Education Committee of the Virginia Association of Surveyors, Inc. Have been holding their Spring Exam Class here for quite a few years. They are excellent hosts for our four day school.

A little pricey for one night, however it was a weekend and we came in late last night. They were quick to accommodate us and provided great service. The room was much bigger than we expected, which was also a plus.

Arrived to dirty bed linens, complete with someone else's hair. They were very quick to send someone with clean sheets though.

The hotel was great overall. My only complaint is that the credit card machine was down in the cafe, which meant the only way to purchase food was with cash. An inconvenience, but nothing major.

While not as close to the street of restaurants as many of the other hotels in the area, the Holiday Inn Richmond Airport was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Checking in was a bit of a wait because of an emergency in the building, but once the process was started it was faster than expected. I was disappointed about the lack of free breakfast, but got over it fairly quickly and settled with the free coffee, which is available 24/7. The room was clean and everything was stocked. The beds must have been extremely comfortable, because I don't remember closing my eyes. My room was a single queen sized bed which was just large enough for me. Checking out was extremely fast too. They send your receipt up to the room before checkout time and all you have to do is return the keys. It took seconds. They have a shuttle that services their hotel and the surrounding three, but we never had to wait for long. The shuttle driver will also bring you anywhere else that you need to go. He brought us to a local restaurant and told us to call him for a ride back, which we did, and he obliged. All in all, it was a nice stay.

Stayed for two nights during an event held at the hotel and one other location. Food was good for the event and the bar, while inexperienced was friendly and fun. Staff was nice. Breakfast was made to order only, slow, and expensive for runny institution style eggs and breakfast meats. The room was fairly clean, shower had black mold everywhere and there was an odd odor in the hallway. Beds are like plywood and very uncomfortable. Enough so when I woke up 2 hours early at 4 am, I departed for home. Overall, it will do in a pinch. Would I stay again, only if I had too.

We arrived at 10:30 p. M. There was a tall, slender man wearing a Holiday Inn uniform who immediately got on his cell phone and was joking around. The front desk ladies were nice. We were told the bar and restaurant closed at 11:00. Went to the room. There was feces stuck to the side of the toilet bowl. Yuck. Went back down to get a drink and a bite. Bar was chaotic. The tall, slender guy from earlier was behind the bar. He acted as if he might make drinks, then said something like, "nope, can't make that, and left. " There was one other bartender and maybe a manager. Bartender was brand new. Literally did not know how to make a double vodka. Manager was coaching her how to make everything from the side of the bar. We were very disappointed in how terrible the service was and didn't have any faith that food was a good idea. We walked over to the Hilton Garden Inn next door, and were quickly served. We ordered food to go. Food was very well prepared. Next morning, went to get coffee. Coffee station looked like the employees forgot about it. Where sugar was kept, there were packets torn open and had spilled out. There were three empty cups left. Other issues with the room. The glass shower door was broken and wouldn't close properly. There was mold around the base of the shower. The bathroom mirror had obviously not been cleaned in a while, or well, as there were big dirty streaks across it. Only great thing about the room was the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Very nice room, and nice staff. Was there for the week end for an event. Disappointed that the bar/bistro did not open until 5 (Saturday college football, and breakfast ended at 9 both Sat and Sun. Seemed to me a loss of easy revenue, and an inconvenience for patrons in inclement weather. Would take these factors into consideration before booking again.

Pretty clean establishment. Not much info about the surrounding area but I guess that is what Google is for. Friendly and attentive staff. Decent rates.

Black mold in the shower, terrible service at the restaurant, don't stay here! Initial impressions of the room seemed ok but it seems the cleaning crew just skips the shower. The wait staff could not handle the two full tables in the restaurant and for breakfast they brought me a container of syrup half filled with water. Always nice when you pour water onto your french toast.

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Proximity to the airport was nice given my early flight. No continental breakfast, though.

The hotel is definitely seen better days, the rooms aren't bad but outside of that it could be cleaner. (There was a tray of food outside my door from another room for over 24 hours). Staff is not as helpful or friendly as I would expect from a Holiday Inn. There are other choices in the area you should probably choose one of those.

Great hotel! The ambience and friendly welcoming staff was enjoyable. I loved that I had a refrigerator AND microwave in my room. The bed was very comfortable and helped me get a good night's sleep.

The hotel itself is great. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Not crazy about the restaurant though. Ordered a salad with salmon. I was told they were out of the mixed greens and all they had was spinach. I'm good with that so I agreed. The salad the bright me was missing about half of items it was supposed to have. Normally the restaurant at a hotel wouldn't be an issue but this place doesn't have much around it and if you don't have a car here then you're stuck with it.

I enjoyed my time here, I didnt see much staff, but the ball room we were in was upkept and the bathrooms as well.

Hotel was generally nice. Housekeeping didn't do much in the way of cleaning my room, but otherwise it was a nice stay.

Great experience. Hotel airport shuttle was quick and friendly, rooms clean and spacious and breakfast was good. All you could ask for in a business travel stay…

The hotel was nice. I did visit the restaurant twice and was disappointed with the food. Ally was a great server as she jumped in and took me as a customer when the first person never came back to me.

Great place when you're snowed in.

Conveniently located next to the Richmond airport. Has a heated pool and gym, a definite plus. There are no snack vending machines, only drink machines on even numbered floors. Also, they do not offer free breakfast. There is a restaurant and bar adjacent to the main lobby. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the quality or prices. There is a "snack corner" of sorts near the main desk, but everything was overpriced. I have no real complaints about my 5 day stay here for a work conference. It would have been nice to not have to go elsewhere for a moderately priced breakfast, but there are plenty of choices nearby. Overall 3/5

Honestly, it was one of the most pleasant hotels stays I have had. I am usually out of the hotel 90% of the time on a trip. So, for me to appreciate the service and staff, they have to be exceptional. That goes doubly for Billy.

The bistro/ restaurant part is amazing. The service is outstanding. My server was Nicole. She made me feel at home. Great choice.
