It was great! No pool, no Resturant, really nothing but a room … due to COVID!

The young lady at the front desk was very courteous, professional and friendly, check in was easy, my room is clean and spacious, comfortable, excellent hot water pressure, loved the shampoo…

I booked my room online before we got there. I reserved a room with king sized bed and a balcony. Receive neither. We decided to relax in the hot tub, we had been riding for 8 hours and were tired and achy. Went to the pool area and no hot tub. Needles to say we were rather dissatisfied. Doubt I will choose this hotel again.

Great service and nice setup.

Very clean and well appointed. The fitness area was spotless and the pool even more so. The shower has plenty of pressure and piping hot water. Starbucks on site will make breakfast the highlight of your stay.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! We booked a room last minute during Labor Day weekend! They had the best rate available and still reasonable! We requested early check in… and not only were the able to accommodate us on short notice… they gave an complimentary upgrade! The hotel has an indoor pool and jacuzzi! The suite had comfortable seating and the bedroom was amazing! It had spacious room for our two year old daughter to run around and enjoy! I swear as I’m writing this review I am still in awe how this hotel salvaged our weekend as we drove from Savannah, GA! Thank you so much Marriot… you guys are nothing short from amazing!

I got a great deal using AAA and I loved my stay. The room was confortable, clean, and stylish. The front desk attendants were all very nice. Very convenient to the airport and restaurants. I'll continue to stay here when I come home to visit.

The location is great. The rooms are nicely decorated. Loved the sofa! The bed pillows were pretty bad and made my neck hurt. We were awakened on Sunday morning by repeat fire alarms. After some time we were told we could return to our rooms with no explanation. No explanation or compensation was provided at checkout.

Top notch, as always when I stay at Courtyards. The gentlemen working the counter at check in were very polite and helpful. This hotel offers a shuttle to the airport and also will allow you to leave your vehicle in their parking lot for $5 per night before or after your stay. There are food and drinks available in a small cafe in the lobby. There are also computers available with a printer and a separate computer specifically for printing boarding passes for those flying out of the airport. I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but I did not receive my 4AM wake up call. If I hadn't been having trouble sleeping, and already been awake, I would have missed my 6 AM flight.

Great hotel and staff. Fire alarm and Fire Sprinkler system work great. I'm a fire marshal what do you expect.

Hotel Rooms booked for volleyball tournament. Tournament schedule changed 2 days before check-in. Hotel Manager is refusing to allow any cancellation of the first day of a 3 day stay. One of the best features about Marriott is they have a very liberal cancellation policy. NOT this hotel. Buyer beware.

Good location close to the airport. Recently refreshed hotel. Well appointed rooms. Good rate and perfect for late arrival into the airport as we did.

Internet down for 3 days and counting. No coffee in lobby before 0700, one regular coffee for in-room brewing (horrible coffee). Room seemed clean and had nice furnishings. Both beds in my room were sagging in the middle and most likely should have been replaced long ago. Not impressed with this property or the concern for providing customers the amenities advertised. I also noticed someone sleeping, wrapped in a blanket in the "Business Center" just off the lobby.

Was a very nice hotel! The staff were polite and friendly. For a disabled person like myself, the handicap accessible room was nice and room enough for a wheelchair. The bed was low enough for me to get in and out of with no discomfort or without help. The bathroom was roomy enough for a wheelchair but the tub wasn't roll in. Maybe that was the only room they had not sure. Since I only stayed one night it wasn't a big deal. Overall, a nice hotel! When in Richmond I would stay again.

Went here for an all day conference. Very clean, well maintained building. The staff was courteous and helped when they could.

Very clean. Staff was pleasant. Quiet atmosphere. Drinks bewteen 5-10 in the lounge (yes please! ). Clean indoor pool. All around you get what you pay for with peace of mind. Definitely will stay again.

Room with Queen bed and sofa bed; very spacious. The internet is free and the TV is a smart TV with various apps streaming. Take a couple of stars because being close to the airport and a big avenue, it makes a lot of noise in the night and not rest very well. The breakfast is of very poor quality for such a hotel.

Got kicked out because maid said there was strong marijuana odor in our room, claimed we had smoked in the room but we had no marijuana in the room, nor did we ever smoke in the room. Management seemed biased to both me and my partner. Pool water was cold and dirty early in the morning, jacuzzi/spa water had an odor to it and was cold as well. The heat wasn’t working either. Hallways were freezing, overall experience was not good at all. Would not recommend to anyone.

Nice and clean, service was excellent. All the cleaning staff I came into contact with were so polite. I enjoyed talking to them.

Take a shower at night cause the water was lukewarm in the morning. Very thin walls, the next door hair dryer woke me up before my alarm did. Overall good experience, comfortable bed and nice room layout.

We used the conference room for a business meeting where they provided lunch as well. Room was great esp with projectors and lunch was good without feeling too heavy. Staff is always courteous.

A nice enough property but leaves a bit to be desired. The presentation of the buffet breakfast was poor. When the building maintenance worker with 50 keys on their hip and wearing work boots wheels the food in … that's a poor presentation along with questionable quality food. It that's the amount of importance you're going to place on breakfast, then you shouldn't even offer it.

Very close and convenient to RIC. The shuttle runs on demand 24/7, which s also really nice. Decor is update!, and the room looked modern and streamlined. Be aware that If you are trying to fit 3 or 4 in a room, the beds are doubles, not queens. Ok for kids, but not necessarily adults. Found walls to be thin, as I could clearly hear any and all sounds from above and sides. What made it worse was loud neighbors whose profanity and scream laced partying went on past 11:30. Only one person on duty from 3 to 11 pm, and the hotel supposedly at full occupancy. Couldn't find anyone at desk once for over ten minutes.

Typical hotel but good service and shuttle takes you in a 3 mile radius and it’s alot of things around.

It was a nice weekend stay. It was priced reasonably. Rooms were clean, renovated and location was perfect. Staff was friendly. Only complaints is no free breakfast and beds were too firm.

We had our Thanksgiving Dinner here. Ashley the manager of sales was wonderful. She sat down with us the day before to make sure everyone reservation was correct and if anyone needed to be added to the guest list. The staff was great, anything we needed they was there giving a hand. I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone that is planning a family function or just having a business meeting.

Best hotels in town. Money well spent good hotel to go to.

Very comfortable and updated room. The Bistro Was convenient for a late supper for a toddler and the shuttle was there and waiting when we came down at 4am. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay!

I was very pleased with my stay at the Court Yard Marriott Hotel on Williamsburg Rd. I needed to arrive earlier than the check in time & David was very helpful in accommodating my needs. Upon arriving at the hotel & checking in I was greeted by a most pleasant and friendly front desk associate named Sal who made my ck in smooth & informative. The room was spacious & beautifully decorated. I travel often & it's nice to ck in to hotel that goes out their way to make u feel welcome & makes every effort to assist your needs.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was an easy process to check in and out. It was quiet for the most part except some kids making some noise in the hall in the morning but nothing to complain to the staff.

Outstanding stay! We had been on the road for 12 hours and went to another hotel where reception was so poor and we were being given a hard time about the rate we had booked that we walked out and went to the Courtyard next store. The Courtyard was an oasis of civility and cheer. The check-in was flawless and they helped us find the best rate. We ate at the restaurant which was tasty and fresh. The selection was perfect and they even had local craft beers and a wide range wines. The staff was so pleasant and worked so hard to serve each customer promptly even though they had an unexpected rush of guests. The room was super clean and the beds comfy. After along day on the road the great service and comfortable atmosphere was such a welcome relief. I was traveling with my father and he could not get over the difference between the two hotels. It was like night and day and for very little difference in rate. He will only be staying at Courtyards from now on… A big thank you to the staff for great experience.

My toilet would not stop running I let the guy at the front desk know before I left for dinner. He said he would have some one go and look at it while I was out. I got back about an hour and a half later, and it was still leaking. I called down, they had changed shifts and the person said he didn't know about it but would have someone come up and fix it. After a half an hour of waiting I called down again to see if maybe he got busy and forgot. He told me he was waiting on the shuttle driver to return and that it would be about 20min. No one ever came to fix it. Also the bed was creeky and loud. It was clean and nice looking place but the lack of customer service, and the lies put me off. The running sound the toilet was making and the loud bed made it hard to sleep. I will stay somewhere else the next time I am in town. The girl who checked me in earlier in the evening was very nice though.

I was only there for about 12 hours, but I had a great stay. Staff were wonderful and very courteous, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the building itself looks new and updated. Breakfast isn't included, so I got the scrambled eggs, sausage, and home fries, which were above average. Overall, very happy with my stay.

Housekeeping disturbs me at every Marriott I stay, this one included. The do not disturb, privacy, please shh I'm resting, whatever sign means nothing to housekeeping. Which makes me wonder, when I'm staying multiple days and leave my room to eat or shop does houskeeping come in and check out my stuff? One wonders… hotels are a racket now anyway… too expensive anyway.

Clean. Not stinky. Wish there were a outside pool. Inside is small. I watch the visitor in the pool kinda sad. But not the hotel fault just some people. Highly recommend. Would be nice to have. Free breakfast. Hotel have plenty of room for it.

Good hotel, extremely convenient to the airport with a quick shuttle. Rooms are nicely appointed and hotel is very comfortable. Plenty of power points and places to plug in. Blinds were quite light blocking (I was able to go to sleep at 7pm in July with no problems.

The inside was recently remodeled and the rooms are extremely nice for the area. The staff were, by far, the nicest and friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Especially Duncan! The only drawback to the hotel is its surroundings. The street it is located on is a prime "night crowd entertainment" stretch of road. Avoid bringing your children.

Just not impressed with my stay here as a Marriott hotel. Staff not friendly. While in my room, hotel staff almost entered. This happened around 5 pm so I'm not sure what they would have been doing. The best thing was the comfortable bed but I would not stay here again.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff is friendly and attentive, it was very clean, the complimentary food was delicious, and the accommodations were better than we hoped. This hotel has a 24 hour shuttle to the airport and its location is great for good meals and travel. The hotel has a place to check-in to your flight and print your boarding passes which is very convenient and helps ease the anxieties of plane travel. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family and are likely to return again ourselves. Personal shout-out to the general manager of this hotel — Duncan Oburu! He made our stay extra special and we can't thank him and his wonderful staff enough!

Sooo The Courtyard Marriott Hotel in VA is a wrap for me! Not only did they nearly overcharge me for my stay, they had issues since I got in. No pool or jacuzzi and were inconsiderate to my friend. I must say the shuttle drivers and a few members of staff salvaged my stay. Great work and service. Thank you for being incompetent and making my Mother's Day weekend unnecessarily stressful!

Have stayed here twice before departing for the Boston Marathon. Love the shuttle service they provide to and from the airport which permits me to leave my vehicle parked on their lot and is one of the primary reasons why I choose to stay here! Shuttle driver is always pleasant. Front desk staff is hospitable too. Location is perfect and close by good restaurants and the Stone Brewery as well as historic sites. Was being renovated when there recently but that did not pose a problem for me. Slept well and room was quiet.

Grossest Marriott I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a lot of Marriotts. Had to sign a "no party" clause at check in. Room had food all over the floor still and the sheets had stains on them. Person who brought up fresh sheets and just handed them to me was pretty ticked a tip didn't follow. Not a great time.

Very nice hotel, super close to the airport. Will definitely make this the place to stay whenever I need to fly in or out of Richmond.

Very poor service. They never cleaned our rooms. We actually found food and other personal things from the visitors before us. The air kept breaking down. No one could help us. We finally got it working ourselves. We asked for clean towels and wash cloths and never received them. Not saying the staff wasn't friendly, but they definitely was lazy. Jennifer was our best experience, Very nice and made sure we received what we asked for. And that was the day we were leaving. My 1st experience and my last.

Clean room. Standard Courtyard property. Internet is ample. Any decent brand wine in the restaurant is exorbitantly priced; $19 a glass!

I was only here for a meeting in the conference room this trip. But the hotel appeared nice and the room was adequate. There was no resteraunt in the hotel that I could see. The Wi-Fi worked well.

Staff was friendly and the room was very nice. Recommended for a quick overnight stay prior to an early flight. Not much in the general area for a bite to eat though.

Standard issue Courtyard but I had a terrible time with the thermostats here two night in the same week in two different rooms. Set the fan to auto, the mode to heat and the thermostat to 72. I woke up in the middle of the night to a 85 degree room. The other room I turned off when it got to 78.

Awesome place to stay! I've been to this hotel twice, always a low rate for such amazing staff! Shuttle drivers were very polite and helpful, letting me know they could take and pick me up from dinner.

Staff, rooms, property — it was all outstanding. Strongly recommend this hotel for any business or family travelers moving through the Richmond area. I stayed traveling with family. There was plenty of green-space where my 2yr old to play could get rid of his energy. Dozens of eateries located within a 5 min drive.
