Stayed for 2 nights. I'm not a morning person so I did not try the breakfast. Arrived after a 6 hour drive from Pittsburgh. Can't tell you how nice that pool felt! I was in a king room on the second floor. My room was clean. I had requested 4 pillows for the bed when I made the reservation for my bad back. There were 4 pillows, just as requested! The front desk ladies were very nice, even when I had to call to checkout because I was running late that morning and had to just leave. The property was very well maintained. I noticed this as I spent a good amount of time outside to smoke. They have 2 vending machines on the first floor, food and pop. There's also a wider variety of drinks available for purchase near the front desk. There was a huge group staying in the rooms next to mine, which included many kids around 10 years old. The kids were definitely on the move but they were polite. I did not hear anything once I was in my room. I'd definitely stay here again! No complaints at all.

Stayed at this location for the dog show in Mechanicsville. Staff very accommodating prior to our stay. Room and grounds well maintained. Beautiful walk-in shower. Full breakfast was awesome. Inside rooms with elevator. Great place to stay, will happily stay again.

This was a last minute stop and we were happy to find a place to stay. Everyone was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The 4am shuttle to the airport was ready to go.

Room was super clean and modern. Hotel staff were all so nice and helpful. My stay was short but I would definitely stay here again.

Best Western Plus Richmond is a nice place to stay right next to the airport. The cost is equal to what amenities are offered. I liked breakfast in the morning offering all types of good food choices, and coffee is available 24/7. The rooms decor is about what I expected based on the nightly cost and is relatively decent. Everything is clean and has been regularly upgraded through time. We had 2 separate rooms and the air conditioning failed in one room on a hot day so management moved is to the room next door, even though we still had access to the original room. Bravo! I will consider a return visit here the next time I am in Richmond!

Wonderful stay. Check in was amazingly fast. Service was great. Breakfast was awesome, as good as some restaurants. Clean, comfortable rooms and lobby. Price was very good for Richmond. I'll be back.

This is a good hotel. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very large and even had removable shower heads. The only complaint is that the walls are thin and you could easily hear people walking down the hallway.

Very nice. Stayed there before and will stay there again. Breakfast is good. Rooms and showers recently renovated. My wife and I wish all the Best Western we're as nice. Also very courteous and helpful service.

Outdated hotel. Small, cramped rooms. Nice staff though.

Very nice hotel. Customer service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly. Breakfast was good. The new renovation rooms were very nice, except for the bed. The Mattress was as hard as cement. I needed to go out and buy a topper for a little comfort. The pillows were small and lumpy. We did get extra pillows though. We have stayed there a few times and everything has been comfortable in the past. Just with the renovation they changed the bed for the worse.

I booked a smoking room online but when I checked in I was told there were only 3 smoking rooms and they were all booked. The place is dingy but decent for the price. There was construction and I was NOT informed ahead of time. One other minor issue is we had to keep going to the front desk to get our key cards reactivated. I have no idea why. I will not be staying there again.

Good location, great staff. The hotel is clean and the rooms have a good layout. It is an older hotel but I think they are in the process of renovating. I didn't mind a little wear and tear as long as it was clean. Pretty quiet. Great if you have a late night or early flight.

I stayed here this past weekend and I was more than pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean, king bed also had pull-out sofa, microwave, fridge and of course a coffee maker. The bed was super comfy and white (which I like). Breakfast included fried eggs, sausage, potato au-gratin, hot oatmeal with a variety of dried fruits and toppings, fresh fruit, assorted pastries, cereals, almond milk, waffles, artisan breads, hot cocoa, coffee and an assortment of teas and sweeteners. The eating area was very clean and we'll maintained. The staff was very friendly as well. I will definitely stay again.

Nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. The 1st room we were assigned had trash on the floor so they let us have a different one… thanks! Bed wasn't overly comfortable… But they had the most delicious/variety of foods for breakfast the next morning. Including a pretty cool toaster and a pancake maker machine!

Hotel staff were very friendly, no problems with reservation or check-in. Free hot breakfast was great. Hotel and room were very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Their shuttle service to/from the airport was very quick and I felt safe with the various drivers. The actual hotel is clean enough. The breakfast is good, it stands out from other hotels because they have a pancake making machine! Also, the breakfast runs longer than the designated which works out great for someone like me who enjoys sleeping in. I enjoyed my stay here!

Very good price. Great location. The grounds and parking lot need to be cleaned up. Lots of cigarette butts on ground near a sign at an entrance that says no smoking. Very good pool.

I really like the staff. They've all been helpful and friendly. They're definitely not robots. My room is average in a good way, with the cleanliness and amenities I'm accustomed to. I haven't been to breakfast yet but the breakfast room looks good. There's a pool and it has information like the temperature of the water on a whiteboard next to it and towels are available at the pool door. Excellent location with fast foods and a 7-11 nearby.

Pretty average experience. Everything was basic and nothing was gross. No hot tub. Good breakfast, like damn that was nice. What else… They friendly too. It's all good here.

Great value. Booked for 3 nights for a house-hunting trip and was surprised by the quality of the room. Front desk was polite during check-in/out and provided hotel info and local info as well. Room was clean, and bed comfortable, no usual hotel issues like hair in the bathroom, or trash under the bed. Tried the breakfast one morning, and it was okay. Nothing special, but it was edible. The pool was always packed with kids, but we had no plans to swim anyway. Great value for the quality and very close to the airport.

My wife and I used this Best Western when we flew from Virginia to Arizona. It has a shuttle to the airport beginning at 4:45 which is good for our flight schedule. It is convenient to the airport with the shuttle and there are eateries next door and nearby. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a microwave and fridge in the room, internet, guest computer area and nice breakfast area. Due to airline scheduling I was only able to use it briefly but it did open at 4:30 which is good for those who need to leave early. Highly recommend to anyone who is flying and needs to spend the night in a comfortable hotel with an affordable rate.

Excellent service, the porters even prepared breakfast two hours early because we let them know that out itinerary called for an early flight. Price for the room was a bit high for what we got, but likely due to the other hotels in the area being booked, so I can offer some forgiveness for that. Great stay!

This has the best breakfast ever in any hotel I have ever stayed at. Fresh fruit for your waffles, yogurt machine and a variety of other foods. The staff at this hotel is above average and you can tell they love working here. The hotel and grounds are cleaned daily and everyone seems to take genuine pride in the hotel. This is a wonderful hotel!

An older hotel but our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The included hot breakfast was delicious with many choices available. I would stay here again if in the area.

Stayed here for 4 nights in January of this year. First 3 were great. The 4th however was not. Got switched to room 212. I was awakened in the middle of the night when I felt something crawling on me. There were 2 bedbugs. Staff told me the next morning they've had trouble in that part of the hotel for awhile. Days later I found 2 more bedbugs, one on my suitcase and another in my hat.

The lobby was average, but the breakfast was complimentary which was nice. There is a great Mexican restaurant across the street and a fancy Arby's about a stone throw away. The room was average but the bed was very comfortable. Overall a pleasant experience.

Room was adequate. Not the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly they do have breakfast. Was ok for one night but more than that and I would have had to eat elsewhere.

Hands down it's the Best deal for the price. Corteous and attentive employees, comfortable well maintained room, free parking and a Well rounded Breakfast! For less than $99 tax included, is Sweet!

On March 14 & 15, 2016 we stayed at the Best Western Plus Richmond Airport Hotel. Our room had been completely renovated: New tub, toilet, bathroom vanity, new flooring throughout. Very nice and also was quiet. The full complimentary breakfast was outstanding and included fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, other special condiments, such as nuts, etc. The danish pastry was super fresh. This was the best hotel complimentary breakfast we have ever had anywhere. Definitely will stay there again.

Room was clean but bathroom was either dirty or stained to hell. The free breakfast is ok but really not much selection. Staff are friendly but this hotel is stuck in the 1980s design wise.

Just in for a night, but the room was clean and staff responsive to my needs. The breakfast was good and that saved the company money!

Not bad, clean, Friendly environment, close to resturants and attractions. Really good breakfest. I enjoyed stay. Tia who works at the front desk is super courteous and nice.

The room was just a little small but the beds were comfort and it was clean. There was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers which I have never seen in any hotel even fancier ones than this and breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles with all different types of toppings. Even blackberries and whipped cream. Fantastic and very impressed.

The room and bathroom were clean and newly renovated. Bed was comfortable, HD TV in the room with HBO. Bathrooms have soap, lotion, and shampoo dispensers on the walls for you. The breakfast was great and included: breakfast meat, eggs, hash browns, bagels, waffle maker, oatmeal/yogurt (w/topping selection), cereal, breakfast juices, biscuits & gravy! I'd recommend checking this place out, it was very quite even though it was packed.

I would only stay one night here. Its the right price in a good location. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed comfortable. But the room smelled of paint. The bed comforter smelt like it sat in the wash too long or it was musty. Our bathroom door didnt close all the way without getting shut and our room door didnt close unless pushed. The price was good for a king bed but I would look around elsewhere before I booked here for a longer stay.

Breakfast was cold. Stay was very nice.

We have stayed here a number of times when we fly out of Richmond. We started after a motel we previously stayed at seriously deteriorated and we have been very pleased with the standards and the service we receive here. Highly recommend.

Consistently good. Our "go to" motel when we fly out of RIC.
