Staff very friendly. Rooms clean. Breakfast was better than I thought it would be. Will stay here again.

Hotel and rooms were clean. Beds are comfortable but pillows are not that great. Internet was horrible.

Nice clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Luby's in short walking distance. Mutiple other resteraunts, movie theater, Kroger, Wal-Mart, etc. W/in a mile or so.

Very nice hotel. Easily accessible from the highway. Both of our rooms were very nice. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

We stay here every time we are in Desoto. We always have a grat stay. Jill is wonderful and very accommodating. The rest of the staff is great. We would highly recommend it.

The hotel was great. The guests that let their kids run down the halls, and talk loudly while walking down the halls need to learn some common sense.

We were told the facility had beed updated but the furniture was very old. Our bed had about 15 pieces of black hair on it when we arrived. Then I inspected the bathroom and there was hair in all the corners of the floor, as well as toothpaste stains on the vanity which looked to have never been cleaned/wiped down. And there was shampoo globs on the sides of the tub. They came and changed the linens and we thought we were done with the issue. We had a pullout couch for my daughter and when we pulled it out, the sheets had a huge stain. So we had to call them again for clean sheets. I then laid on the pullout and it was honestly worse to sleep on than the floor. (And I was apparently lied to because it was absolutely NOT a new couch, all the furniture was very beat up. ) We were planning on staying 5 nights but we had to checkout after the first night because I couldn't let me daughter sleep on that bed. (We've slept on many pullouts in hotels before and I've never encountered anything near as bad as this was. ) Very disappointed in La Quinta, this was my 2nd attempt to stay at one with a similar experience before. Will not be staying here again.

Clean, has a pool, gym, a/c, frigobar and coffee in the room. She is walking on the freeway. Accessible and place near for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

After two tries I am done with this place. The rooms here can be a little dank, the beds seems cleans, but both times I have stayed here I have found a roach in the room. Once on the fourth floor and once on the first. The staff is friendly and the hotel is quite, but the hot tub is Luke warm as best, the breakfast is the standard, microwaved eggs and random breakfast microwaved meat, with two cereal choices, 1 milk choice, Texas shaped waffles, and one yogurt choice. The worst part of the breakfast is the drinks. There is a reconstituted juice dispenser, that does orange, apple and cranberry, and worst of all an instant coffee dispenser, with instant cream, yuck! At least make a pot of fresh coffee, at least!

Jill the manager is awesome. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Front desk service was rude. I'm hearing impaired and when asking the girl to speak up, she got ruder. I'd like a refund as I will not use the chain again for the mistreatment. She made a point to explain the noise policy, yet there was some sort of event that overflowed to the lobby making it very crowded and unpleasant. I had to complain about the shower head that sprayed all the way to the vanity and soaked everything and the scalding water that burnt me! No offer to re-room us! Regards, T.

The staff is friendly and the rates are good. The rooms are fairly well kept and I have yet to see a single bug during my two week stay. There are lots of food options near by, and it's fairly close to a Walmart in case you forgot anything in your travels. The reason I give it four stars is because the breakfast seems a bit sub-par. If they'd just offer bottled water at breakfast that you should take with you before walking out the door, I think I'd change this to five stars.

I would have loved to give this hotel five stars the room was nice and clean and everything. Let me explain why I am only given 3 stars, I traveled to the Dallas/Desoto area from Houston TX for the holidays (11/24/17) and booked my room online for my daughters sleepover. I checked in about 2pm and the young man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. There is a sign at the front desk about parties and noise. I asked the young man about the sign because this policy is not listed on the site. I informed him that it would be no party but after the party which was located somewhere else the girls would come back to sleep here. The young man inform me that shouldn't be a problem especially if there was no party, noise, loud music etc. I inform him it would not be. Later that night we return to the room and began to get settled in for the night. There was a knock at the door and a very rude young woman by the name of Maria or Maricela something to that natural who began to yell and be very disrespectful to me stating we were having a party etc. I informed her we were not that the girls were changing to get ready for bed she got louder about seeing cake and balloons which we had brought back from the party. She began to keep going on and on about nothing and just given bad customer service she states this was out first warning that we had to leave the property. I inform her we were from out of town and would not be leaving.

Staff was great. Rooms were nice and the breakfast offered some good variety.

I had the 1 Bedroom Suite, which is VERY large and the Hotel is Quiet and easily accessible. Fantastic inside Pool and Hot tub area. Good breakfast bar in the morning. The front staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Pretty average stay. The room had a few cosmetic issues (stains on the ironing board, peeling tile, old carpet) and the bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable for my taste. The staff was very friendly, especially for us coming in after midnight for a room. If needed, we would probably stay again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Great service and clean room, easy to get to, quick on and off the interstate. Food choices are great, all and all a 4-5 star stay.

So far everything has been good. We are here because we are under mandatory evacuation from Richmond, TX and this was the closet hotel I could find.

Nice place; only downside was I left my breakfast in the room fridge and went to get some work done in the business center. I was gone 1 hr, and housekeeping decided to throw away my breakfast. But the kicker was I hadn't checked out yet.

Very nice inside and rooms look elegant. Tv with cable and mini fridge. Elevator is located in the building as well as a pool. This place has breakfast in the morning. Awesome place all around. Plus it's pet friendly which is a added bonus for pet lover. Highly recommend this place.

We came here for an "Epic Woman" conference that was held in a conference room. The lobby was clean and tidy. The restrooms in the hallway were very clean. The lobby is easily accessed from the parking lot… no matter the spot.

Rooms were not clean. Breakfast employee was not very personable. Big wad of gum found on our nightstand lamp. Showerhead barely functioned. Not a pleasant experience.

Only rating 3 stars because service was great. Greeted every time I walked past front desk and employees were very friendly. The room itself though was not very clean. The walls were dirty, bathroom tiles had a ton of cracks in them. Also, not good when you first peel back the cover to get in bed and a spider runs out from underneath it.

Was quoted $119 for room and told Lotosha was on way and would be there in 20 minutes. When we arrived she said it would $170 and she could not change it and would not honor the rate.

The staff was very friendly, the room very nice, and the location perfectly located along HW 35 South (on the way home for this trip).

Staff, breakfast, rooms clean, need entrance from feeder road marked better. I will use again if needed.

This place does not help out during times of extreme weather. Highways south were blocked because of high water. I could not get home. This location had one room left, a suite. I came in around 3 am and they insisted on full price which was over $140 I walked out. I felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation. I will not use La Quinta again.

It's fine. $99 plus tax with the discount — just ask for it, AARP, AAA, whatever — and the room was clean and perfectly adequate. I heard some kids banging around in the room upstairs briefly, but it's impossible to control other guests and I don't hold that against the hotel. Refrigerator, microwave, TV with plenty of cable channels, right off the interstate — what more could you want.

Very nice hotel but parking was very tight. Lots of tractor trailer rigs, buses and RVs made it difficult to negotiate the parking lot. Rooms well maintained, breakfast stayed open later for all the sleepy heads.

If you want to sleep, STAY ELSEWERE. The walls are paper thin and the management of the property is inept. We had the privilege of being kept awake until 3am by our "neighbors" on both sides. First, the group on one side was screaming and yelling in their room and in the hallway, and had people coming and going and slamming their door every 5 minutes. After talking to them personally at midnight with no change in their behavior, we called the front desk. 30 minutes later, NOTHING had been done — no phone call, no visit from management, nothing. Called the front desk again, and still nothing was done by management (not even a phone call). Finally, after another call, just after 1am the noisy group was FINALLY moved. All the way across the hall, which did nothing for the hallway noise and door slamming. Inept and clueless is the only way I can describe the management. We thought then that we would have at least a modicum of quiet. Wrong again, because it became apparent the walls have no insulation as we got to listen to our neighbors on the other side of our room talk constantly until 3am! The 6:30am alarm came way too soon, but I was glad we were checking out that day. We will NEVER be back. And in two weeks I am taking my entire office team back to that area for training (it was just my wife and I initially), and guess where we WILL NOT be staying. Yup, you guessed it. There are plenty of other hotels nearby — you'll find us at one of those.

I was unfortunate in that I only stayed here one night. The room was clean, had all the amenities you expect, the staff was extremly courteous. The beds were heavenly. I slept like a log. I cannot say enough good things about my brief stay. My business partner stayed another night and she said the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Clean like a new hotel should be. Front desk tried to get $105 out of me as a walk-in, but quickly retreated to the internet prices. I tipped the maid $20 because it was christmas and I was happy with the room. Still, there were no eggs at breakfast. Probably all the other comments I can believe to be true. If you like clean, you'll like the place. If you like front desk, maybe somewhere else.

One of the nastiest place I have stayed in, garbage behing the furniture, blood on pillow cases, lint and I mean heavy lint on the vents and mind you these vents are eye level and very reachable. I would never stay here again. Oh! And non smoking rooms smell like a freakin nasty hookah lounge. I am a non smoker and I start sneezing if there is smoke anywhere around me specially when I am trying to get a good night sleep. This place looked like one of those hotels where people go in for a couple of hours.
