Was visiting uzbekistan for the first time and off course I had to travel to samarkhand, had no prior knowledge about the city and going by the reviews booked a room on Al madina hotel.

We were at the Observatory and we ended up here since it was just a few minutes walking.

Don’t stay here if you want to be close to the main Samarkand tourist areas. Otherwise the hotel is very nice, rooms modern and clean.

I had an amazing stay at SavitskyPlaza in Samarkand. The ambience of the hotel is truly beautiful and relaxing. It immediately made me feel comfortable.

This family-run guesthouse felt like a home away from home. Anwar and his family were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

This is a cute and very well located family guest house. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there was a large and nice breakfast every morning.

The only thing is that there were no toothpaste, but they give after I asked.

Dormitory is fine, everything is clean, beds have curtains for privacy. Good prices for good amenities, shower and Wi-Fi are both in good working condition, House is kept in good shape.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Safar in Samarkand. The cozy, home-like atmosphere created by the host—who is also the owner—made our visit feel very special.
