Usman provides a welcoming setting in Samarkand, a city steeped in history. It’s located approximately 2 kilometers from the city’s core, offering a balance between urban accessibility and a tranquil atmosphere. The hostel provides a functional space for travelers seeking a practical base for exploring the region.
The hotel doesn’t have a sign and looks like a normal house, so when you take a taxi there, you should call them and they will come out to pick you up. The host is very polite, friendly, and kind. I used their laundry service, and they even neatly folded my clothes and socks. The location is about a 15-minute drive from the square and 15 minutes from the train station—I think it’s an ideal place to stay.
