The hotel is in a beautiful refurbished 19th century mansion. After weeks of budget accommodation we splurged on a junior suite and it was absolutely beautiful.

Yangi Sharq is a well located hotel within easy walking distance of many of the best sights of Samarkand.

We travelled with a group of 44 people and stayed in 3 major cities of Uzbekistan. I must admit that customer service in this hotel was outstanding.
