Great location and very helpful staff. Special mention to Murad who was very helpful, even let us check in early.
But the stay itself was quite unpleasant mainly because the place is dirty. The owner has clearly not spent any time getting the hostel cleaned up and is just milking it for the location.
Probably the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in our lives. (Not exaggerating)
There are flies everywhere in the kitchen and courtyard. 🤢💀
The flies enter the bathroom as well since it’s close to the kitchen and the courtyard. It’s gross because when you shower or use the bathroom there are flies everywhere. 🤢🤮
The common space inside the house smells and the carpet they have hasn’t been washed since they started the hostel. 🤮
The bedsheets didn’t fit our beds — they were shorter for the mattress and kept coming off.
Only thing good about this place is that Murad — who is the administrator is really knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
If you want to stay close to Registan — don’t book this! Pay little bit more and stay somewhere else.
