Great location near park, clean rooms, reasonable priced.

It's like a home from home. The accommodation is spotless. The staff friendly and you are near to fab links into Manchester. Definitely recommend it.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed at the ground floor apartment which is beautiful. If only every hotel was like this. Highly recommend it.

Having stayed here prior to the extensive refurbishments I must say that the rooms are top notch, the twin room (sofa bed) in which I stayed for the weekend could easily have been mistaken for a one bedroomed flat such were the facilities provided. The staff were very polite and helpful whilst the decor is a homely oldie world feeling, did I want to leave and drive home to Brighton? No!

Nice place well worth the stay and the owner is a nice chap as well. Room well furniced and area quite.

Hi, we stayed here, sadly for only one night while we attended a gig at the arena. The sat navigation found it straight away. First impression was a lovely, well kept huge house. Lots of parking and immaculate grounds, lovely touch of pumpkins on the steps to main entrance. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful giving us directions on how to get to arena. We were in room 15, an executive studio. It was absolutely spotless, great size with bay window and small, … but perfectly adequate kitchen area. Bathroom was immaculate with good shower, plenty hot water and towels. Very comfortable bed with spotless linen. Room was decorated very nicely. Breakfast was fantastic, something for every taste from fresh fruit, cheese, yoghurt, cereal to a full English. We had the full English, it was delicious, again waitress staff were lovely girls. Location was in a nice, quiet leafy suberb, we felt safe walking back late at night. Tram station was a 10 minute walk away as was a pub and a few shops. We would have loved to stay for another day but sadly had to get back for work. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Good job Lennox Lea crew, we had a fabulous weekend 10/10 x Great price too.

Comfortable, well-appointed rooms. We had one of the self-catering suites with a small kitchen — microwave, washing machine, and small fridge in a second room. It is a ten minute walk from a tram stop and several very good restaurants. Only drawback was a lot of steps up and down to our rooms and down another flight to breakfast.

Excellent Hotel rooms large and we'll fitted out. The main hotel lovely and staff lovely. Have been twice and will be back when in area. Parking in hotel grounds. Breakfast plenty choice Many thanks to the staff. Jim the Scot.

Lovely staff and a nice environment. Room was comfortable and, as the hotel was not full, I was upgraded. Great breakfast.

We searched online for a nice hotel to treat our daughter after leaving primary school. The pictures were lovely, but arriving at the Lennox Lea was even better. It looked beautiful from outside, they were very welcoming, our room was stunning and immaculate, it had everything you could need. Lots of choice for breakfast, we would love to have dinner next time we stay. We've stayed at 5* hotels and none of them have anything on this place.

This hotel has that old and elegant feel but upon closer inspection one can see it's not very clean. The staff however is very friendly and the place is very quiet and cosy. It would be even even better if they didn't cut off the heat during the night so you can get a decent sleep during cold winter nights, instead of a cold. They could do with some bathroom improvements to get rid of the separate taps, fix the shaver sockets and increase the water pressure.

Had our wedding meal here in 2009 and it was excellent. Amazing food, fantastic staff and beautiful rooms. They couldn't do enough to make us and all our guests feel welcome. Thank you guys, you made our special day feel even more special xxx.

V cosy. Enjoyed the drinking choc with the tea coffee. V helpful all week. Hotel in quite location but only mins away from all amenities. V central to Manchester etc. We had to leave bef breakfast so we we provided with a lovely packed breakfast. Only small drawback was all the stairs if ur elderly enquire about alternatives before u arrive. The man we met on arrival was older and hard to understand but the following evening he seemed more pleasent. All other staff v v friendly. Thanks for a v comfortable enjoyable week.

I can not rate this beautiful hotel and the exceptional service we received enough. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. I have stayed in lots of hotels, (home and abroad) but none, looked after us like the wonderful staff here. We were made very welcome, the rooms were fab, cosy and had everything we needed. Special thanks to Janet, Christine, Graham and the lovely lady (sorry we didn't get your name) who organised our breakfast and made sure we were fed every morning. I have been raving about you already, and highly recommend you to everyone I know. We will be back! Many, many thanks.

I stayed at this well located hotel recently and had a thoroughly good nights rest. Ample parking and plenty of local pubs and restaurants if you fancy a wander in the evening. This is what I call a traditional hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathroom well maintained with a good shower etc. If you want a place to rest your head, a quiet night and probably the best breakfast in the land then drop in and see Mike and the team.

Went there for a Christmas party with some friends the other day. Cold food, bored staff — and overcooked vegetables. Avoid like the plague!
