We had our daughter’s 18th birthday party at the Eskdale Lodge Hotel last night. It couldn’t have gone any better! The staff were incredibly helpful and put up our decorations, looked after our guests really well, cut up the cake, and generally made it a very special night. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was amazing and catered for everyone’s tastes. Vegetarians and vegans were very happy too. Thank you all so much for making it such a special night. The Ross family.

Stayed here for a ska reggae festival at Trafford park git to say staff are brilliant friendly the breakfast first class would I stay here again certainly will keep the good work up.

Had a lovely dinner here on 5/5/2021. Really nice main meal, lovely dessert and great service.
We came for my son's birthday and he was very excited that Batman had come to see him.

Lovely Sunday lunch. We were well looked after and the food was delicious.

Service was excellent. Great atmosphere, felt very welcomed, dog friendly and spoilt with dog biscuits!

Had Sunday lunch here tonight and it was fantastic, the children’s meals were great also, fantastic presentation and the food was piping hot. A real gem, we had not tried this place before lockdown but will be coming back with family and friends soon!

We had our wedding reception here 5yrs ago and said we would go back.
Gutted it took us so long to go back but this will be a regular date for us now.
The best steak ever. The staff are amazing especially the young lad serving tonight. He's an absolute star. Very good with customers and fantastic manners.
Book again for next week its so good. Husband a little gutted batman wasn't around due to being on an important mission.

Great award winning home cooked food. Lovely hosts with a friendly welcome. I understand Batman makes visits to the kids too.

Lovely helpful staff and very welcoming to me, my baby and guide dog. And the food was delish to boot! Thank you for making me so welcome as always.

We have just had a delicious meal! Everything is homemade! And I’m talking everything from the pies, to the focaccia, to the wonderfully sticky chocolate brownies.

We've only been here twice, both with a long time regular, but both times it's been lovely. The food is really nice and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are really good with our Little boy too. We're looking forward to visiting again.

Haven’t been for a while and the. We went on England Vs Sweden day. It was very very busy. Yet the food was still perfect, the kitchen were obviously run ragged but you wouldn’t have known. The atmosphere was awesome albeit boiling hot haha. Great choice of drinks behind the bar. A most pleasurable afternoon, we will definitely be back. Great to see a traditional pub changing for the better.

Graz is great. Always friendly and welcoming. The garden at the back is quiet and secluded. I always feel at home there even when I go on my own with my dog.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is very good and a varied menu is available. The rooms are a little tired but the en suite bathroom is excellent.

Went for a meal for our Anniversary and my birthday 20.12.2017. Food was lovely but I was given chips when I asked for new potatoes and the peppercorn sauce wasnt peppercorn. Overall a nice meal in a nice place.

Just had a lovely weekend here with my Drandaughters (aged 7 & 9) the staff were friendly and accommodating, my Grandaughteres can eat so we had a little of the continental breakfast then a full English which was delicious, we didn't feel the need for anything else to eat untill we returned in the evening, again almost clean plates all round, I had a medium rare steak wich I asked for a little more on the medium, it was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

I love this hidden gem in sale, the staff are lovely, the beer is good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Ive not stayed there, dont need to, but friends have and it was cheaper than the premier inn up the road. Food is good. A lovely place to relax in.

Lovely charming accommodations, owner and staff took great care of us. Rooms were clean and the restaurant and pub were a warm welcome after a long day of travel.

It doesn't look anything like it is from outside. The rooms are clean beautiful and well spaced. The toilets are clean and well serviced. The breakfast could be better but it is better than nothing.

Always great food (at reasonable prices) and great service. Been again today and it didn't disappoint, we really like going to the Eskdale for food and a few drinks. Would definitely recommend.

Visited with friends for a Christmas meal and had a great time. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, great roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings! We all had different courses from the menu and everyone enjoyed all of their meal. Very reasonable price and good wine list, again reasonable in price.
The service was good and the staff friendly. I shall return very soon!

Clean and friendly Hotel. Room a bit dated, but bathroom was impeccable. Food great and catered for my needs. I would stay again.

My husband and I just stayed here this Friday as we were in Manchester for the Stone Roses gig! The room was available from 4pm onwards but we arrived early afternoon and they were more than happy for us to drop our stuff off. Our room was perfect it was a good size clean with en suite and had all the little extras needed. The lady who dealt with us was extremely friendly and helpful gave us good tips on getting in and out of city. We took her advice and used the nearby tram to get around and it was really cheap. Couldn't of asked for a better stay exellent wkend excellent hotel. Would definitely return bad definitely recommend. Thankyou Eskdale.

Wasn't really expecting much as the price was so reasonable but was very happy with what I got. Amazing friendly service, beautifully decorated home and a lovely lay out. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone… rather give 10 ☆ if I'm honest!

I have just arrived from a 4 night stay at eskdale lodge manchester where ihad such a pleasant stay with my husband. The hotel was clean and the food was very good. I would definately stay there again if I was visiting manchester again.

! Great place to stay a night before the football, checked in 3pm, asked barman for pub with pooltable sends us to the vine no pint quick mish, end up in sale town, hit up the kings ransom (cool pub with a few fruitee`zzz) then back to vine however we proceed, neck a few jars, play pool for 1 whole pound a game :/ cut a long story short we had a great stay and a crazy weekend.

I have frequently visited Eskdale Lodge over the past 2 years and must say that It's a wonderful Hotel. Great rooms, excellent food from a varied menu, very reasonably priced and free Wi-Fi to boot. Simply the best.

Very nice hotel, Staff are very polite the rooms are deceptively large. The bed isn't that big, but overall a really nice hotel.

Very friendly staff, even if there isn't many of them! room was nice, clean and tasteful although finding the light switch was a bit of a challenge in the dark (room 7). Bedding was fine although the pillows were a bit hard for my taste food was fantastic, It is pub style food but freshly cooked, large portions and very tasty. Oh and at a very reasonable price.
