Joud Residence Apartment

Very bare bones but good location at an affordable price. Older furniture in the sitting room made for an uncomfortable night on the sleeper sofa. The climate control was barely adequate. The staff were nice though and everything was clean.

The highlight of my stay was the staff. They are all pleasant and very helpful. However, if all you care about is location, Joud Residence would be the perfect stay. If, though, you care about quality and cleanliness, this is not the place for you. The unit I rented was atrocious. There were stains and tears in the carpeting and the entrance floor was sticky. As you can see from the pictures, the sheets and bed frame were also dirty, tattered, and broken. The bathroom was not much better, the shower curtain had stains and there were also hairs (not mine or my company) in the tub. We actually ended up leaving the residence and finding a hotel in Arlington, VA.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! In the prime of the city! The hotel itself is aged and needs some upgrades, but it’s quiet, safe, limited garage parking, and the price is phenomenal! They are actual furnished apartments. Our one bedroom, with pullout sofa, could have slept 6 people… easily!

Ongoing Identity theft investigation had started at this residence. The people involved or has knowledge of the theft and/or who held residency here prior. Tony Arrington a. Ka. Tony Hubbard. Dexter, and Andrew. The Joud Residence have been no help, in fact, they've been a hinderance, of trying to find the true identities of my acquaintances at this location.

Stay away! unsafe building and poor management. even though the location is good, the apartment condition is terrible. Not only was I not given the proper apartment I had rented but an intruder with a key entered the apartment in the middle of the night. This was scary and I wouldnt want anybody to stay there, there are plenty of other properties in the city.

Good suites and good service with fair price except for parking was $30 per day which was ridiculous. Plan ahead to park ur car somewhere if considering this.

Really like this place. Staff is friendly and helpful and prices are pretty low for a 1 bedroom apartment.

Quiet corner, snug little piece, don't have clover reserve though.

The place is very good, the facilities are correct and very clean only lacked some kitchen utensils (but xq We like to cook), the staff of the place Super friendly, cordial and attentive, one of the best things in the Place. It's good that this close to the museums and parks but not about Them. Everything more than Good. If we go back to DC it will surely be there.

The apartment is part of Joud residence. Amazing locality. Great hosts. Loved my stay here. Extremely safe neighborhood. All basic amenities are in place. And its a calm and quiet locality. Front desk staff Ereca and Huda in particular were very hospitable and such awesome folks. Very very helpful. Wouldnt look elsewhere for my next stay in DC too!

Great location but needs a bit tlc and refurbishment. Staff friendly but disappointed we were there for 4 nights with no change of towels. Overall OKAY.

Very comfortable and spacious, stayed there for 2 months. Location is amazing, walking distance to almost everything. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Inexpensive option in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington DC. Less than half the going price for a crummy hotel in the same area. Rooms were clean and efficient. Kitchenette and full table included.

We were grandparents traveling with 3 teenagers. A hotel room would have been uncomfortable. After hours of searching, I finally came across Joud Residence. The location is great! Just a few blocks from M Street in Georgetown! The service was great. Cleanliness was acceptable and I'm very picky. Had a good size living rm/kitchenette with couch bed & a separate bedroom & bath. They had 2 foldable beds waiting for us in addition to the bedroom & fold out couch. Very friendly & convient. I would easily recommend Joud Residence!

Very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. A walk away from restaurants, a small grocery store, city bus, and metrorail. Our 1 bedroom apartment was clean, quiet, with a great view. Next time I come to Washington I will definitely look here first.

A Fully equipped apartment. Living room, dining room, good room, good bathroom. Very well located, about 8 blocks from the Lincoln Monument and the National Mall. Super nice and helpful staff. 100% recommended.

Comfortable room with a lot of space for a very reasonable price. About as quiet as any urban setting, yet convenient to both the Metrorail and Georgetown. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Simple and cheap hotels near the White House. Great rooms with separate bedrooms. No breakfast.

Joud residence is very cozy, and right in the middle of the all the action with a 20 min walk to the white house. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel welcome. I highly recommend it.

These pictures are staged. This place has very dim lighting, the carpets are soiled, the walls need to be painted. The exterior of the building is contemporary looking, but the inside decor is old dingy furniture. It is very outdated, and bears no representation of Georgetown at all. I was going to stay there, and I was given conflicting information. I did not want to stay because of this along with the fact that the building was dirty. Huda, the Asst Property Manager was rude, and she refused to give me the owner's name. Do Not stay here. Contact Airbnb, they are fantastic.
