This place is amazing. If you EVER need a place to stay in DC this is it. As a travel agent I was very impressed since I was unfamiliar with the brand. I will always recommend this property to my clients.

First time I was tempted to cook while out of my own country. There was a kitchenette, a lovely hall and a double bed for my friend and I. I enjoyed the experience at AS!

Very nice hotel for the price. Staff was very friendly, and welcoming of our two dogs. Location is prime, close to everything. Loved my stay at the hotel, will definitely go back again.

A hotel is a hotel is a hotel… What makes a hotel exceptional is the staff. I have to give the folks here at Ave Suites credit! They hired well and I mean very well! I will always stay here when I am DC keep the staff happy and the customers will be loyal!

We had a great one night stay in this hotel! The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Very practical place, we had a living room two TVs and a kitchen! I would recommend this place to anyone staying in DC!

My wife and I stayed here for a week and had nothing but great experiences. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Location was walking distance (10 mins) to the White House and (2 mins) from Georgetown, the cool/hip part of DC to walk and shop. Nico, one of the many great concierges, helped make sure our stay at Avenue Suites was comfortable and safe. With diligent and helpful workers like him, our long stay at this great hotel seemed too short. Thanks again, Nico.

Our stay was great. We were there four two nights; there's tons to do nearby, a trader Joe's across the street, and the suites are practically apartments with a full kitchen. The hotel staff was wonderful, offering aid with everything and giving us advice about what to do and where to go. We did not have a chance to check out the bar/restaurant though. The hotel itself is showing a little age, but overall it's a great place to stay.

We loved the location! It was fun to stay in town and be close to everything. It was reasonably priced, and had room for our whole family. The kitchen was a little dated, but functional and had what we needed. Really would have loved a hot tub, especially after a long chilly day walking the city. The hotel is on a two pipe system, so it can't have the heat and ac operational at the same time. It was a littke warm, but at least we could crack the windows. Ceiling fans would be a good addition. All in all though, we really enjoyed our stay!

Not the most convenient location. But we love this place and keep returning to it whenever we stay over in DC. We like the clean kitchen, which has everything you need, with Trader Joe's over the road (this is all great to prepare meals for kids! ). We love the size of the rooms and how the main bed is so comfortable. And the shower — it's like a floating robot cloud (I said to the kids) — just ready to pour steaming water over your head. Fantastic. There is a patio with a bar — a bit too cold this time of year, but will be lovely in spring and summer. The price can vary, but whenever it's on or near the advertised price it is really great value for money. Oh, and the staff are just very helpful and always friendly, a treat after a long drive to get there.

Loved our stay here! Service was great, everything was fresh and clean. I prefer a softer bed but this bed was okay and I will never understand why high-end hotel have such awful toilet paper theirs isn't any worse than anyone else's. Over all. I would stay there again and highly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Clean, modern, nice decor. The staff are friendly and professional. Not cheap, but reasonable given the location. I chose it because of the good reviews (totally true! ) and because of its proximity to the D. C. Circulator so I could get to tourist sites cheaply, but I found it easier just to take Uber from the hotel to travel in the city.

Spacious rooms. Kitchen supplies adequate. Great location with easy access to the Metro, Trader Joe's, GTown, shopping, restaurants, etc. Outdoor patio is comfortably furnished and is a nice oasis for cocktails, relaxing and conversation. Staff pleasant/helpful (kudos to front desk clerk, Ann, for expediting early check-in). Connecting rooms a plus when travelling with other family members. Con: 3 night stay — Did not replenish some toiletries or complimentary water bottles. Sofa bed left unmade and opened. One "rag" that slipped through as a bath towel (frayed edges, threads hanging, 2" rip). Mattress too firm. Other than the mattress, which is a personal preference, the pros outweigh the cons. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

For all those who are looking for a great place in the heart of Georgetown, This Hotel is worth the price and some. My family and I stayed at the wonderful hotel in the heart of DC's Georgetown and it was great. From the amazing front desk staff to the valet personnel. The house keeping staff was very gracious and attended to our every need. So much so that one day I cleaned with the house keeping person / staff because they were so great. If I could give 10 stars then it would be a perfect 10. I have friends that my family and I could have stayed with for the duration of our trip, but the services at this amazing hotel was worth our entire stay. I'm going to be planning another stay very soon. I was there for a conference in July, and very much enjoyed my stay! The accommodations are very new and clean, and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's located very proximal to restaurants and stores and very close to the White House and and Capitol. Definitely recommend!

Com Booked a room here and they had the cheapest rates around… The staff was exceptional and extremely accommodating. I surprised my wife with a birthday celebration in a suite and the staff suggested flowers and cupcakes be sent to the room. The suite was nice but the kitchen was dated. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to others.

Rooms are clean and have a kitchen as an option. Staff is friendly and there is a Keurig. Life is good.

I booked a double queen suite for my birthday and the ladies at the front desk were very helpful and really went above and beyond when we arrived telling us where everything was and helped us figure out where we were going and the best way to get there. They even sent me a little birthday gift! I was very pleased with my decision to stay after seeing the rooms layout and it had extra touches that made it feel very homey. Very posh. Different from your average hotel in a refreshing way. Cleaning staff did an excellent job. The room was absolutely perfect when we arrived Will return again :)

The suite was overall good. The rooms were clean and were provided by room service. The mini bar was great and the overall enviroment was great!

Chic, urban un-hotel for people who don't like the usual fla-fla of mainstream hotels. I am here for a ten day stay and would come again. The staff is sincerely helpful. The location is excellent. The rooms are spacious. People of all cultures will feel at home here. There is groovy music throughout the day in the lobby but my favourite discovery this morning was "the quiet zone" which is an outdoor patio with Wi-Fi, electricity and silence. Ah! My only reservation, being an ecologist from Canada, was the lack of recycling facilities. However this seems to be widespread throughout the city and is more of a comment on the culture at large than this particular institution.

Very spacious rooms for families coupled with a fully functional kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher). Stayed here for a weekend (June 2015) and couldn't have asked for a better location and friendlier staff. Loved the photos of Hollywood icons that decorated the lobby, hallways, and room walls. 4 out of 5 stars because only one elevator (out of two) was working; breakfast offerings are very slim for the price and not family-friendly style of breakfast.

The hotel met our expectations.
(Breakfast up to a young man at the bar), the staff was extremely friendly and obliging.
The rooms were removed on arrival unfortunately not good. This was however immediately withdrawn after complaints. The establishment was slightly worn especially in the kitchen. The air conditioning, typically American, produced a high noise level.
We felt overall very comfortable at the hotel.
You should book with breakfast. Order individually in the morning is even, then but considerably more expensive.
The breakfast itself is sufficient. Scrabbled eggs with bacon and (white or dark) toast or Eieromlett (very good) vegetable or with bacon. Coffee creemcheese, jam — unfortunately no fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice…
The location of the hotel is very good. In 5 minutes you are in Georgetown. The Washington Harbour, 15 minutes to the white needs house half an hour and then one is also right by the Mall.
Wi-Fi in the entire hotel free of charge and with good communication.
This United States trip noticed also, that in many public areas Wi-Fi free of charge was offered.
I can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.
