Service at front desk was very poor and rude lady. Her name was Victoria. The hotel had remodeling workers all around and Service work was a big mess. Back doors were open for a longest time. It did not look n feel safe. Elevator was very old and scary. Braeakfast was very uncomfortable with a small area. The halls n rooms smells old. This was not something I expect for La quinta Hotels.

Nice and friendly staff. Rooms need updating and cleaner good for just a night stay.

Value for money… Cheap motels in area. Everything is good except maintenance!

Clean rooms, friendly staff. We had a few issues during our stay, one air conditioner went out… but we were moved immediately. Pool was nice. Convenient to the interstate.

Got here last night and it was a pretty quiet. Didn't have crackheads roaming around the halls and property. Quiet and cool rooms. Pet friendly. Been a good experience so far. We leave tomorrow morning. If possible, I'll update my review is anything changes.

Hotel is a little old but great price good service and pet friendly with no fee.

Nice hotel what was slightly older but well maintained. Hotel was easy to find right on the Freeway. Only hot item on breakfast bar was self-serving waffles. Price was reasonable and staff was nice. Quite room and beds were real comfortable.

The room that I stayed in was not clean, bath tub still had hair from the previous person that stayed and there was also hair on the walls. Which I have no idea how that happens. Mirrors were not clean. Soap that they leave to use while u shower was already opened with hair inside. I had to clean myself the restroom (I really regreted not having my Lysol wipes) I went to the front desk to let them know, They were nice about my complaint, and at least gave me 10$ discount and a new bar of soap… In other words just pay a little extra and stay in a hotel that cares about cleaninesse.

Staff was great but the floor we were on, they were smoking weed in their rooms. Did not care if it was in the hallways. To bad the rooms do not have smoke detectors.

Bad customer service, rooms smell so bad, donot waste your money here.

Love this place the staff is always the best & the rooms are so beautiful & comfortable & the prices are reasonable they go above and beyond for their guest.

Only spent one night here. Facilities are ok but old. Location is good and close to Chinatown.

Up to now has gone well in the hotels la Quinta.

The security guard needs to calm himself about a notch down or two. After a late check in, I went to get a bite to eat with a friend and he was badgers by the security guard who called management over to. See what was wrong. He had simply parked up front to Pick me up as any body should do, but he was treated as if he were criminal.

Do not stay here. Checked in around 11.30 pm and by 1 am wanted a refund. The entire places reeks of smoke and the hotel "does not permit smoking in any part. " People hang out in the parking lot at these same times on a random weekday. We've stay at La Quintas across the country as they are pet friendly but this one the worst one I've seen. Do not waste money here unless you are looking for a sketchy hotel (in which case still would not recommend as it's too pricey for a typical sketch roach motel).

Not served by the elevator, and the rooms smell like smoke and the TV is not served, the staff is attentive.

It was very clean quite and nice and very reasonable prices and everything dose not smell like cigarette smoke.

There are that you remodel the entire hotel including the rooms. But the attention is very good.

Clean room when we moved in, super soft comfy beds. Bad front desk phone answering response. Noisy throughout the night, from heavy door slamming. Half A#$ cleaning from maid service… One maid. Was totally rude. Almost ran me over with the cart. Thought I was going to have to become ghetto real quick and whip her A — Because she didn't say excuse me, she had her head in the air with an attitude like move out of her way. Just kept going with an ugly look on her face! Overall three stars.

Great place when you're on a budget. The lighting was terrible, it had a small TV, the bed was acceptable but this is what we expected; you get what you paid for. At least the people were friendly.

It is a good hotel but they use so much styrofoam.

Fitness center has bike, treadmill, and elliptical… that's it. Breakfast is good. Rooms were clean. Floor smelled like cigarettes but staff sprayed freshener that got rid of that. So im between 3 and 4 stars. Rooms were no issues so far.

For the price, this is a fine hotel. The beds are hard in the back, the breakfast has no meat, the carpets are old, and all the hallways smell like weed. But I'm not disappointed based on what I paid. The pool was nice and cool, housekeeping was good, staff was friendly, ac was working, breakfast was satisfying, and pillows were soft. For what you pay, this is more than adequate.

Staff was great, minus one lady when we checked-in. Thumbs up to the staff. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. My room did have a slight odor but it was swiftly taken care of. Any issues were immediately resolved. Great job!

Only stayed here because my reservation at the Hyatt was cancelled. It’s sooooo much I can say about this hotel that would not want you to stay here. When I made the reservation, I requested for a fridge and microwave to be in the room to cut the cost of eating out. During check in, the front desk person was a tad sketchy but friendly. She assured me that everything was set & I had my fridge & microwave so I went to the room & saw it was nicely cleaned until I continued to walk into the room. Although the beds were nicely made, there was a humongous dip in both beds like the mattresses were never changed since forever. I decided it will be okay for the stay but I then noticed there was no fridge & microwave. Went downstairs to the front desk and alerted her that they weren’t there. And she then proceeds to tell me “oh your room doesn’t have those. They are reserved for Hurricane Harvey victims” First off, that’s something that should have been said before I even checked in instead of telling me it’s there then it isn’t. I let it go. The first night stay was fine but the second night was horrible. I got back from the mall and noticed a weird smell in my room. Didn’t know where it was coming from so I ignored it since it was faint but later that night, I smelled it again and realized it was marijuana. Smelled like multiple people were smoking it on my floor. I have asthma and the smell made me so sick that I threw up multiple times.

Don't stay here if you want sleep. This place should called la Quinta aspca! Dogs barking and howling day and night. Also rooms smell like wet dogs had to change rooms the stench will knock you out. On the bright side breakfast is good.

Our experience was good. The hotel is noticeably older, but seemed to be well maintained. The location is convenient to Arena Theater, as well as a lot of restaurants and businesses. Check-in was easy, our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I have nothing to complain about. Decent hotel for the price.

The only hotel I can compare this to is spring hill suite (because that's the only hotel I been to). In short La Quinta Inn isn't part of the greener pasture. Just right before you get there.

Ok, Hotel staff is friendly. Hotel is a little outdated and could be cleaned deeper, like a spring clean not just on the surface. Example, someone had spilled some food or something on the wall by the desk and it was on the air conditioner and wall and window. I just cleaned it off. Bathroom was clean (important) sink drain was a little slow. Breakfast is a Continental type with a waffle maker, good enough. Area is a little rundown but I love looking at and driving around different areas so I didn't care. But overall hotel was pleasant for the price. Id stay again if I couldn't afford somewhere a little nicer.

I don't pay for the hotel then there is how much does it cost, what I can say is that it is not so good hotel, the bath was something despintada and the floor was slippery, the beds were not as extensive and did not feel that the place was so clean. Finally, the area for breakfast was small and the food selection was disappointing. If it costs 40 usd or less a night probably would give it 4 stars. If it costs more than that, I think there are better hotels.

The AC knobs were broken off. Lots of things were broken. The shower handlel in thr shower. The water in the sink was extremely slow. The pool wasnt open.

This has been to worst hotel I have stated at! Front desk seem like they don't like their job. I found poop hopefully it was dog poop in the stair way. I call the front desk to informed them of this but guess what the poop was still there the next morning! The hallways smelled like smoke. The pool was green! The bed sheets had stains on them!

I have been a La Quinta Returns Elite member for many years and I have stayed here many times over the past 8 years. I have always had a good stay here. Very nice and professional staff. The 2 room suites are a great bargain! Very affordable!

This is a lovely hotel! The breakfast is terrific, they even have a waffle maker! Even the goodies in the snack machine were great! (the cupcakes are addictive). The bed was SO comfortable and the room was pretty. Two sets of drapes so it can be very light or very dark. The pool was clean and very nice. The fitness center is 24 hours. It is close to everything you would want, restaurant-wise, but you can't really walk many places. Front desk staff is VERY friendly and helpful! This is where I will stay in Houston!

The staff was nice enough, the hotel could use some cleaning. The floors needed to be vacuumed badly and lights didn't all work in our room and the elevator was also out during our stay. Normally enjoy la quinta hotels but this one was lacking.

Poor customer service! Front desk receptionist was very rude. I stated that I had disabled guests with me. She took payment and then proceeded to tell me the elevator was broken! WILL NOT RETURN!

We're in from out of town and had booked our rooms in advance. They seem to be very accommodating and eager to assist when needed. No request was unreasonable.

This location isn't flashy and every time we stay at least one of the entrance doors have malfunctioning card readers but we will return. It's only about 15-20 minutes from Memorial Herman TMC and they offer a medical discount if you're in town for medical reasons. The staff at this location are top notch and all but one were super friendly and helpful. I would give this location five stars if all the doors were working. When you're walking your dog, after dark, and you have to walk all the way around the building it's inconvenient.

I always choose to stay at La Quintas because of how friendly they are with their pet policies. This place though older had a real clean feel to it. The breakfast is general with their choices of yogurt and dry cereals. They also have waffles for you to make. The beds were comfy, again nothing special but they get the job done. The room was clean and had enough lights throughout and very nice black out curtains. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They would say hi, good morning or what ever time the proper pleasantry would fit. Everything made for a great 8 night stay. Pro tip sign up for the rewards its free and each stay goes towards a free stay.

They aren't about being flashy, the rooms aren't all that, besides that it's a great place to stay overnight. They provide breakfast for such a low price for an overnight stay. The beds are comfortable, they accomidate your every need if you have minors or pets. They have Wi-Fi, the staff is extremely friendly (Alma, housekeeping), they have hot showers, and know how to make you feel at home. I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel, it's not the best out there but it's the best when you are seeking affordable prices and a close to clean enviroment for your family. Thank you.

Everything bad you've heard about this hotel is true. Filthy, very bad service, manager was not available according to employees. I cannot efasize enough about how filthy the room was, floors, walls, beds all stained and with a bad smell. Please avoid this hotel at all costs.

This hotel is full of drug dealers prostitution you can smell the marijuana in the hallways never coming back here the only good thing about it is one or two Hispanic cleaning lady's very friendly also if the managers and the owners responsible they don't care about their employees and the costumers only make money.

Bad service! Bad rooms. I dont get the purpose of this hotel, neighter service neighter confort, there s cheapest hotels with better quality. This is a stinky mark for La Quinta.

Filthiest hotel in my 25 years of travels in US. Hallway carpets had a visible layer of scraps and strands, room smelled and the odor was a cross between sweat and damp carpet though the carpet was dry, upholstery on the chair in the room had marks of spilled liquid all over it. I called the manager to inform that the room had terrible smell, got the voicemail and the message was never returned. I promptly moved to a different hotel nearby the next morning. Also watch out — it were either bed bugs or maybe I was just apprehensive — but it felt that I was breaking out with rash and I had to wear a layer of clothing to avoid touching the bed linens. And in the morning the boiled eggs served for breakfast had grey yolk, the egg white had a blood red dot, and the smell was extremely foul. Of course I did not eat it but be ware as the second egg I picked up was the same. Lastly, the receptionist was courteous but the staff in the dining lounge were awkward and rude.

Love going there when I shop for my shop.

The black receptions was so rude before I arrived at the hotel. I took my business elsewhere.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel. I travel every month for work, so I've stayed in many a hotel. Sherrie at the front desk was extremely rude, and had obviously never been trained in customer service. FYI, this falls on the management's shoulders. I actually called and left a message for the manager, Ann, but she never returned my call. Hence, the reason for this review I could not believe how filthy this hotel was especially the eating area. I'm truly amazed that La Quinta is still in business with this lack of customer service and cleanliness. I had the same experience at one of their locations in Austin. Due to the many negative reviews just for this location that do NOT have any responses, it's obvious they don't really care about how their customers feel. Folks, if you want to spend less money and get better service I highly recommend you go elsewhere to places like Motel 6 and Days Inn. At least you won't feel as if you're wasting your hard earned money. La Quinta Inn, you have lost my business for life due to your incompetence and lack of awareness for how your customers feel.

My sink exploded. My bathroom/entryway sink exploded all on its own. At about 8 in the morning, water violently shot out of the drainage hole upward into the air, launching the drain stopper like a projectile, and spraying the walls and ceiling with foul, rotten-egg smelling liquid. Given that this sink is out in the open, an amount of my belongings were coated in this. Foul liquid of some sort (I don't think I even want to know), and my room reeked for a long time. I talked to the front desk about this issue, and they didn't seem at all phased or surprised that this occurred and nonchalantly asked for my room number, saying they'd send someone. A maintenance man showed up told me that they had a clogged pipe in the basement, so they shot pressurized water (? ) upward back through the pipes to clear it, resulting in several rooms' sinks exploding in a manner similar to mine. He seemed to indicate that this was normal, shrugged, and feudally wiped a fraction of the rotten-egg liquid off my mirror and apologized for the inconvenience. I get the sense that this is a normal occurrence here. On the plus side, their continental breakfast wasn't half bad. 2 stars.

These people are the absolute worst! Security guard is noisy, rude and harasses people for no reason. Front desk girl, Victoria is dumber than the security guard. Profiled me because I was pretty and African American. Told me I needed ID to be in any of the rooms. I say, "OK I will show my ID to the manager. " All of a sudden there is no manager and they want to call the cops because I am combative and the two incompetent employees cuss me out. Bitch please. I had it at that point. Took the general managers information without their help, he avoids me for 2 days. Finally answers the phone and says he sticks by his employees actions because I was combative. Really? They forced my hand to call corporate and demand action because in NO way is this hospitality! Then refused to give us a refund! GO TO THE HILTON ACROSS THE STREET, THEY KNOW HOW TO ACT.

I stay at laquinta often. This hotel wa pretty clean, hotel staff friendly but I will say shower/water pressure needaMAJOR FIXIN". Every day at 3am no shower water:-{. And house keeping not the best.
